gathered to say good-bye to 22 month old cooper harris new search war aren'ts are shedding light on what sparked police to believe the child's dad left him may be more than a tragic accident. ross harris admitted to police he searched the internet for child deaths inside vehicles and what temperature it would need to be for that to occur. he told police he was fearful it could happen. the boy's mother made similar statements. they didn't say when the searchs happened but we know that ross harris kept him in the car for 7 hours after he forgot to drop him off at daycare. it wasn't until he was driving to meet with friends that he realized cooper was in the back. he pulled into the parking lot cook the child out of the car and began cpo. cooper was already dead.
