[chanting u.s.a.] >> that confrontation got nasty. not what america is supposed to be. but the fault lies mainly with the federal government and the president in particular. as an editorial in the "wall street journal" today makes very clear. mr. obama knew for years that the border was not secure and human smugglers were developing an industry to bring tens of thousands of foreign nationals into the u.s.a. illegally aided by the country of mexico. that is a corrupt and appalling situation that mr. obama should have dealt with years ago. he did not. so now we have mass chaos, a humanitarian disaster, and anger that may erupt into

mandate, then you must hate women and want to deny them contraception. i think all that ties into it. but you have to realize that this started decades ago with sort of the liberal takeover of the college campuses and k through 12 this is a mentality deeply engrained in our american citizen. >> in this poll i want to point out 2 o% of americans define themselves as liberal. 44% say they are not proud of their country so that there is a lot of conservatives in that crew what do you think is behind it carville? >> i don't know. it's odd that the blanks blowing up the world had nothing to do with it or disastrous iraq war has nothing to do with this. pretty hilarious reading of history. six year of a very very difficult recovery. there is no doubt about that. >> so you think it's economically driven? >> i think some of it is the republican party is

horrifically unpopular. obama is significantly more than congress is. >> quinnipiac says he is the worst president since world war ii. that's pretty damning. >> i looked at the pew poll which you are doing and i compared it it? >> going back to why americans aren't proud of their country and staying away from the party politics which get us nowhere. you don't really know what's driving that you think it's something about the economy? >> i think -- certainly i think. six years we haven't had real income growth in this country over the last 30 years. >> i think that's possible. >> disastrous war in iraq and afghanistan. that was bad. really bad. >> all right. economy. people -- when you ask them a question like that, carville. you know, you might be right. i hadn't even thought of it that. they react emotionally. are you proud of your country? all emotion. it's it like yeah the banking industry hosed us so i don't like america.

if this were a muslim family that owned a company and they were very strict in their religion, they did not believe that women should be coming to work unless they had permission slips from their husbands is, this the kind of thing that they now could mount a case and take this all the way to the supreme court and heavens to betsy there is actually precedent for a religious issue trumping civil rights laws? >> this is exactly the danger in this case. >> is it really? >> heavens to betsy, bill. i'm glad to see i haven't seen that lady with the while. the lady with the hot glasses ashleigh banfield i'm glad she handed on her feet. the way she is talking it sounds like she might have landed on her head. that's outrageous. she is engaging in islamophobia in order to justify her religious big got tri. >> it's it the slippery slope that if you give a christian concern this window that you you don't have to do abortion mechanism that they consider to be one. the morning after pill that

yesterday i put forth my immigration plan posted on bill o'reilly.com. charles krauthammer did the same thing last night. now it is your turn. go. >> okay. first thick you do is start deporting people not by the hundreds, north by the dozens, by the thousands. and that means entire families. not just a father, a mother. but we keep families unified by deporting all people who are are here illegally number one. >> wait, logistically who gets deported? do you go door to door? do you search them out? >> wherever we find people who are not supposed to be in this country legally, those people have to go back to their home country. family should be sent together. >> federal police force seeking them out? >> the way if used to work, bill and the way eisenhower did it is federal state and local, they worked all together. they didn't demonize each other. they didn't oppose one another. they all work together for the common good much the country. i think it can happen again. it will be really positive. we are not picking and
8:50 pm
choosing. where we find illegal aliens they have to go home. keep families together that's number one. thousands not hundreds. number two we have to stop visas and stop foreign aidtoget. number two, we have to stop visas and stop foreign aid to country who is will not repatriate the citizens of those countries that left and came to our country illegally. we're saying this of guatemala, costa rica, some of these south american countries. they get more foreign aid. this is a crisis, and we have to deal with it in a serious way. there has to be an end to this thing called birth right citizenship. some people call it anchor babies. it's not required by our constitution, it does not require a constitutional amendment. harry reid was for this 15, 16
8:51 pm
years ago. he went on the floor proclaimed that we should end birth right citizenship. and we should end -- against employers who knowingly hire illegal immigrants. severe civil penalties. if they have to be krm criminal penalti penalties. we need a law or a fence along the border where that is practical. i think no welfare for house holds that house illegal aliens. that's a big meg net, food stamps, disability. also obama care, that's critical. we also have to make sure that bank accounts, housing, people who can rent houses, if you're in the country illegally, why are you allowed to rent something in this country? we have to take steps that both

take the magnet away, that enforce the borders, with the national guard, we work with border states at a federal level. we don't time lawsuits against border states. >> if you do have mass deportations and the rental agreements stops, the republican party would become obsolete, you would ensure hillary clinton's election in 2016 because the demographics don't add up. >> that's the left's argument you're adopting the argument of the left. >> it's karl rove's argument, it's john mccain's argument. if you do that kind of draconian. >> we take the penalty of deportation off the table and we see what's happened as a result. >> absolutely. >> you know you're not going to be deported. how do you do it?
8:53 pm
self-deportation? >> you know how wild the media would go, showing families being forcibly removed. placed on busses or whatever. u you don't believe -- and the polls show that 67% of americans want some kind of pathway. i'm telling you if your vision were put in there, republican party, done, last word. >> i think that karl rove with all due respect, has made some mistakes a over the last few elections. what you saw in marietta, california. is not something that shouldn't happen in the united states, nobody should spit on each other. but the people standing up and saying you won't do this to our community, you won't do this to our wages, you won't do this to our public schools. >> i think that there is a better way to do it without destroying the republican party
8:54 pm
which absolutely i believe could happen. >> the republican party is doing a good job of destroying itself for not standing up for the regular people. >> i want to compare my plan to laura's plan, and this is a very, very excellent conversation this week. your tip of the day,
