obamacare. speaker boehner in a statement saying, quote, in 2013 the president changed the health care law without a vote of congress. effectively creating his own law by literally waving the employer mandate an penalty for failing to comply with it. that is not the way our system of government was designed to work. no president should have the power to make laws on his or her own. in response the white house saying quote, it is disappointing that speaker boehner an congressional republicans decided to waste time and taxpayer dollars on a political stunt. republican leaders in congress are playing washington politics rather than working with the president on behalf of hard-working americans. as the president said today, he is doing his job, lawsuit or not. and it is time republicans in congress did theirs. the response from the president himself, mr. obama, capping off his trip to texas by ripping into republicans, mocking them for the lawsuit and for calls from some in the gop for his impeachment. >> you hear some of them.

see how involved we as americans are letting the government in our lives? does that percentage shock you? >> it doesn't shock me because i'm new to politics. so i'm new to this business. i've been here for four years. before that i was in education. i have to tell you when i am plugged into the news all day long it is stressful for me. i wasn't that way before. i would read the news in the morning and at night. now i'm plugged in all day long. seeing these politicians duke it out and political theater and all this nonsense, it is really hard. it is remember linked to policy. politicians drive us crazy sometimes. look at unemployment numbers, look at jobs. you sit here, you guys are duking it out and having a good time behind the scenes and we're all struggling out here to get work and businesses running. so it is both. >> you said something really that resonates, that is why you left washington. do you get the study? >> i get it but i'm around this all the time having to listen bickering between two sides it is toxic.
