plus -- >> the american people are witnessing the greatest lie that is cleverly orchestrated by president obama and his whole administration. >> that was in 2010. tonight jon voight with back with the governor with a new call for americans to stand up. ladies and gentlemen, governor mike huckabee. ♪ >> thank you. thank you. what a great audience we have here, and we're so glad you have joined us. welcome to "huckabee" from the knocks news studios in new york city. our southern border is a complete mess. truth is we don't even have a border right now, because borders restrict access. what we have is an open door. president obama told us that we could keep our doctors if we like them and keep our health

insurance, and that we would pay $2500 a year less for it. he said benghazi was caused by a little video, and he told us he would get to the bottom of the irs scandal. the same president said there was a red line in syria. he said our borders were more secure than they have ever been. his justice department pulled a conservative film maker, but not the people who botched fast & furious. this president also made this absolutely bog us promise. >> i have a track record of transparency irnts i'll make our government open and transparent. >> we'll do it in a tran parent wait. >> so that the american people can be involvedivities let me say it as simply as i can. transparency and the rule of love will be the touchstones of this presidency. in reality this administration makes the darkest days of the nixon administration look like a glass-bottom boat off the kaman islands.

border agents, hhs workers, even volunteers, are told see nothing, hear nothing, and speak nothing. the press are given strict rules as to what they can see, record, ask and report, which leads me to ask, what's worse? a president who thinks that he can suspend the first amendment? or a compliant and cowardly press corps that goes look with this abuse of office? i fully understand that no elected official is required to help load a gun pointed at his head. no law says a person has to answer questions or grant interviews, especially if one knows the reporter is biased and incapable of getting the story right, but public facilities run by public employees are the public's business. when congressman jim bridenstein attempted to visit the warehoused illegal immigrants in his own congressional district, he was told he couldn't come.
5:04 pm
later, he was told he could come, but he was given a long list of restrictions. are you kidding me? folks, we elect congress to ask questions and have oversight of the way our money is spent, saying to a congressman that he can't do his job and even enter a federal facilities in his own district ought to outraid every bona fide journalist in america. i have to ask where is the outrage? where are the journalists? if the press won't practice it, they will surely lose it. look, i am not a journalist, i don't even play one on tv. i'm admittedly a partisan who ran for and held public office under the auspices of a political party. i readily confess my point of few, but there are too few press people left that will scream out loud when a president lies and covers up the activities of a government that's supposed to be serving us 38 journalists this
5:05 pm
week did sent the president a letter that lays out their case for how this administration has stonewalled the media from getting accurate information and access. finally. as for the immigration mess, i'm genuinely sad for the babies and little kids who are virtually tossed over our border so they can try to get a foothold in a free country. if this is a humanitarian crisis, then it's the president's lacks policies that ha -- lax policies, and it's urgened. he should stop playing pool with buddies, cancel fund-raisers, and get down in the middle of it, instead of taking check from big donors. president obama's actions would be the equivalent of going to new orleans in the height of katrina to eat creole food, but never visiting the ninth ward, the super dome or convention center, and the press needs to
5:06 pm
hold him accountable, or we may lose this great republic, because the watchdog has become a lapdog. if thousands of babies in diapers and little kids can get across our borders, do you not wonder how many terrorists are walking across every day? and this president, and a compliant and blind press should be held accountable as coconspirators. well, unlike president obama, my first guest tonight has been to the southern border, and he has video proof of what's going on down there. >> right now the border patrol in that preserve trying to apprehend the families that are coming across. move over to the right, you'll see this park. it's completely empty, but today before 5:00, it was filled with border patrol and constablings. where they were gone, i have no idea. this is what scares me to death. over there, you have mexico, and

that's the rio. you can see the lights on the cars. those are all scouts. and there are little dingies with boats and wave runners. they keep on going back and forth. that wave runner is bringing over drugs and it's bringing over people. while we're over here trying to get families, we've got everything dangerous coming through on the right. >> joining me now just back from the mexico border is film maker dennis michael lynch. great to have you back. >> thanks for having me. >> what you have put together is the most remarkable video i have seen from anywhere. you have seen this over the course of the past several years as you've documented the crisis. what troubles you most from your most recent visit? >> my most recent visit is a life-changing event for me. i have seen so many things take place over the last month, especially my last visit a couple weeks ago, with four

children, i'm concerned. our country has officially fallen off the cliff. from a disease standpoint, hundreds of thousands of people have crossed the border, and they have not been checked for any diseases. we are starting to see border patrol agents are the first ones to be affected. just last night, a border patrol agent was hospitalized for bacterial pneumonia. this will continue, and it's really going to hit america square in the face is when school starts in september. we're going to be flooded -- the schools are not prepared for this, the school nurses aren't prepared. i've been talking to schools especially where i live. they look at me like a deer in the headlights, what are you talking about? most americans don't know what's taking place. so we're going to get hit readily hard with that. we're at the point where the border patrol union is telling the border patrol, come to work with gloves, and extra pair of clothes, shower before you leave so this way you don't

contaminate your children and wife at home. i'm at the point right now where i say america is in more trouble than it's ever been in our lifetime. >> you got some video and interviewed one of the border patrol agents. we obviously can't identify him, he would get fired on the spot if he was identified, but this is very revealing of what you just said and validates what you just said. i want us to watch it and then we'll get your comments. >> the health check, the health screening that we see is we basically just ask them if they're feeling okay? >> so there are reports right now that the kids being put into these detention centers, these holding centers, that they are getting immunization checks. do you have any idea if that's true or not? >> i have not seen one child sent or had any sort of, um,
5:10 pm
medical staff come and check the children i've seen numerous families come in, go out, and nobody has touched them in any way, shape or form. >> i mean, this is alarming. this is a border patrol agent, not just some activist who doesn't like immigrants. i think a lot of people are torn with compassion for the children. i have compassion for the children, but i also want to hold my government responsible for protecting the rest of america and saying, look, it's one thing to provide assistance for hungry kids or for diseased children, but to mainstream them in the middle of schools in america without adequately protecting the people who are going to be exposed, that's really serious. that's what this agent was saying. >> our immigration laws were designed for two reasons primarily, one is to protect the american worker from unfair foreign competition, and number two is to protect american lives and health. that's not happening. until we remove the incentive for people to come here, which is the ability to work, this is
5:11 pm
going to continue to continue. i promise you that. everybody's got their eye on the wrong thing. we have to remove the incentive, and we need to protect the border better than we are right now. the border patrol is changing diapers. >> dennis michael lynch is with us with exclusive video. you do not want to miss it. we will be right back. if you'd like to comment on tonight's show and share with me your thoughts, i welcome your response. go to my website. you can connect with me on facebook, sign up to follow my regular messages on twitter, or leave comments on the feedback section at mikehuckabee.com.

the mexican helicopter, that mexican helicopter, right? these guys are flying right over us. they're on u.s. airspace. >> they do it every day. >> is that military? >> i don't know if it's a
5:15 pm
military on board or not. >> let's go, pal. follow the helicopters itches this is not the helicopters you want to follow. something is wanting to watch us. we have to be careful. you never can trust them. >> we are back with film maker dennis michael lynch. >> stunning. you have a helicopters, no challenge, nobody stopping it, you just saw this stuff. were you surprised to see this level of just brazen activity on the part of even mexican government officials flying over as if to say what are you going to do about it? >> sadly no, governor. in my flame on my website, i have seen this a dime a dozen. in arizona on a ranch we have the most expensive station there is in the country with $40 million worth of technology assets. you would think nothing would get through. 42 trucks have cut through the steel girders and driven through
5:16 pm
that ranch over the last 18 months. how many do you think got caught? zero. there is no will to stop these people. the fact that the mexican military can fly over my head, taunt me and scare me for 20 minutes basically saying we're going to stay here until you leave. finally the safety aspect is you've got to go, and now, you know, they want to get their loads across. nobody is going to stop them. >> i want us to take a look. i want us to watch it, and then we'll get your comments. >> it's not the fear of what you see, it's fearing what you don't see. >> what aren't we seeing? >> you're not seeing the criminalities. you're not seeing the rapists, the murderers that come from other countries. you're not seeing the terrorists that come from these other countries. these are the people that we're not able to catch because we're busy doing -- handling something else. we're not ability to do our job. >> so the agents themselves are basically out there trying to
5:17 pm
work with their hands tied behind the back. >> the more real at the border patrol is at its all-time low. they're losing guys every day. they send me information all the time, because they know i get it out. they're suffering this from two perspectiv perspectives, one as an american, and two their profession. imagine i told you you had to talk about something you didn't want to talk about every day. it starts to go down. the country is under an attack, if you will, because we have absolutely no leadership. there is nobody. i hear nobody talking about solving this problem the right way. >> i think a lot of us are saying if it's this easy -- this is what i said earlier if it's this easy for a baby to get through, how easy is it for somebody who is a drug dealer other serial killer, or what frightens me, how many terrorists from the middle east, instead of going through kennedy with a passport are just going to the southern border and walking right across. >> i've got a chill inside right
5:18 pm
now. they're already here. they're already here. i've worth worked with the border patrol, caught people at night, they're smiling. you pick up a shirt, ms-13. i've caught people from middle east mixed in. it's not hard to mix in when you have a group of 40 people traveling through the nighttime. 50% of what's coming through the border is undetected. you have the families as you saw right there being caught and the rest of the people are just skating through, coming to an area near you. members cab -- the ms-13 gang members are being paid $50,000 a head right now to bring in special customers from the middle east, from russia, from china. it's happening as i'm speaking to you right now. the federal government knows about it, but they can't stop it, because we are too worried right now on these children and the families. hundreds of thousands of families have come through that border in the last month and a half. i've watched it firsthand.
5:19 pm
>> frightening stuff. dennis michael lynch, you're doing the country an important job. you have the most amazing video, firsthand knowledge. >> you're doing a good job? you know why? none of the other networks will put me on, but fox and you will. >> dennis, thank you very much. dennis michael lynch. how far will the israelis go to defend themselves against the relentless rocket attacks? i'll ask. and jon voight is here, and he's got a call for americans to save our country. twist. stay with us. they can see the light of a single candle. your eyes are amazing. look after them with centrum silver. multivitamins to help support your eyes, heart and brain. centrum silver. for the most amazing parts of you.

5:23 pm
rockets fired into israel by hamas. on saturday air strikes hit a mosque in gaza that the israeli military claims was used to store iranian rockets by the palestinian organization. israel remains resolute. the defense minister says the country should be prepared for sever more days of fighting, saying they will continue to punish hamas until security returns to israel. the most recent outbreak came after three israeli teenagers were kidnapped and killed, following by the killing -- i spoke to israel's minister of economy and a member of the security cabinet earlier. mr. minister, there have been barrages of rocket fire. tell me about the mood of israelis, because a lot of the rockets are going places those rockets have never gone before, far more into the northern territory, what is the spirit and mood of the israeli people right now? >> israel is strong, the israeli
5:24 pm
people are very strong, but you know, i want to show you something. this is a grad rocket, the tail of a grad rocket, one of hundreds that have shot by hamas terror group onto israeli cities. we've had hundreds of them. i'd like every one of your viewers to imagine this missile, this rocket, it's about 8 feet long, filled with explosives and shrapnel, and imagine how they would feel if one of these rockets fell in their neighborhood, in their children's kindergarten or school, or god forbid on their own home. that's what israel is facing today. and we're not seeing the world really act against that, so we are understand we are on our own, and mike, we will defend ourselves, and we will win >> you say you will defend yourselves, and i have no doubt about that. we've seen the remarkable
5:25 pm
success rate of the iron dome, about 97% of those missiles twharp targeted were successfully brought down, but there's still this ongoing problem you've got with hamas located in gaza that seems to be growing stronger as iran continuing to feed them more explosives and weaponry. will there come a point at which israel says that's enough and you have to go into gaza and put an end to this? >> well, it's certainly on the table. i'll remind you, governor, that about nine years ago we evacuated the gaza strip and handed it over to the palestinians. they had promised it would become the singapore of the middle east, or something of that sort, and instead from just a few days after we evacuated 8,000 israelis from their homes, hamas turned the gasesa strip into a fortress of terror, and
5:26 pm
they developed these sorts of missiles and rockets. they are digging tunnels from gaza into israeli towns in order to conduct terror attacks, and that's all they're doing. you know, my big lesson is that whenever we, god forbid, hand over our land to the arabs, it will turn into a fortress of terror. that's why we should never make that mistake again. i know that you and i feel both very strongly, i as an american, you as an israeli, that the whole notion, some of which has been pushed by my own country is ludicrous if you somehow let your enemy get closer, the nicer he becomes. we know that's naive and certainly hasn't been proven. my question is, do people in israel, even those who have supported the notion of giving up land and believing that it's all going to turn out for good. did they now see this is not
5:27 pm
going to work? and does this latest intrusion of hamas bring the country together. >> yes, the country is very much united. the country is strong, thousands of civilians have been recruited to serve in our reserve units. i myself in previous conflicts did just that. and we're firm, we're strong. you know, governor, we've been here for 3,800 years, well over 2,000 years before islam came to the world. so we're here to stay. if anyone wants to mess with us, that's okay, but we're here to stay and we'll fight them. i think many in israel now have awakened. many are more realistic. we're in a tough region, in a very tough region where you have syria killing 150,000 of its civilians, when iraq we have i.s.i.s., radical islamic terrorist group taking over iraq. egypt had a revolution and
5:28 pm
counter-revolution. the only solid and stable area and a free democracy in this area is israel, and we're proud about it, and we're going to keep it. >> real quickly, i need to ask you about the difference between the way that you're dealing with your retaliation to the rocket fire, the indiscriminate rockets that are coming into israel they're just starting civilians. you specifically target military targets and terrorist cells. explain the difference between the way you're approaches what you do and what the palestinians are doing through the auspices of hamas. >> well, it's pretty simple. in israel we send soldiering to defend civilians. in gaza, they send civilians to defend terrorists. what they are doing, they place their rocket launchers within hospitals, within schools, within kindergartens, in order for us then to shoot back and kill their civilians.
5:29 pm
in effect hamas is sacrificing its own children and women on purpose, deliberately, in order to, you know, make for a good tv scene. we in israel, what we do is we target the terrorists only. in fact sometimes we go to such a length that we will call up their homes and tell the civilians to get out before we act. i don't think any army in the world does that. certainly i'm confident that the idea of israeli defense forces is the most moral force in the world, and we're fighting in that way, but we are winning. i want to tell you hamas has taken quite a hit over the past few days. i want to say thank you again. i notesi a busy and stressful time for you and all the ministers in the cabinet. our prayers are with you. i will tell you i will see you soon, perhaps next year in jerusalem. thank you neftali.
5:30 pm

5:35 pm
faith-based voters play. how big of the constituency is that? >> it's a big deal. thanks for having me, governor, if i didn't believe in reince priebus, i never would have step down in south carolina. it's a big deal. i sent 1400 volunteers to eight battleground states. i realized that the faith component was an afterthought. i met with my buddy, and 89 million of is faith voters, evan yell cal, born again, and 42% voted for a guy diametrically opposed. >> run that by me against. >> 89 million. >> 89 million self-identified evan yell cass. and how many. 30.5 million voted. >> 1 in 3. >> yes, governor romney got 78% of that vote. that means 22% voted for a guy who is diametrically opposed to what they say they believe in.
5:36 pm
>> especially from what i call the donor class, stay away from the issues, the social issues, we don't want to deal with that. if we stayed away from them, what happens to the 89 million voters? do they stay home? >> thankfully that doesn't happen. you're see a reengagement. reince even postponed or meeting in january. we marched in the march for life. first time ever a party chairman had done that. it was 12 degrees outside, a foot of snow out there. we postponed the meeting, and 80 members gout out there and became involved. what you're seeing is a recommitment, you have a chance to look and and be reflective. so reince wanted to do a back to basics, all hands on deck, this is a game of addition, we have got to win, the party has to be engaged in this. you know, it really -- i think it's important to say we're trying to add people. we're not saying that people
5:37 pm
have to be a faye-based voter, have to care about some of the issue, but don't move those folks off to the margin and say we don't want them. ronald reagan, strong pro-life, george w. bush, strong pro-life and pro-marriage. they all won. it seems like when we back away some of the voters don't get interested. >> i think a lot of us are politically knowledgeable, and we get discouraged easily. let's face it, the rep party is a natural home for people of faith. as a christian first, i don't think christians are or anybody serious about their faith really cares about what the party says. they want to know what god says. our vote is a testimony to answer with the to unit community, if we're not involved, people don't see that. i think we're seeing our commitment to the faith vote on
5:38 pm
every level is us saying, this matters, we're not going to leave it out, we're going to pay attention. >> chad, i appreciate what you're doing. i'm grateful for reince priebus, he's done a visionary job, and i think his selection is very -- thank you very much. >> thank you very much. god bless you. this will be the first president to ever weaken the united states of america. he uses his aggress and arrogance for his own agenda against the will of the america people when he should be using his will and aggress against or enemies. >> that was actor jon voight on this show in april of 2010, with a warning for the american people. four years later, it appears he predictions were absolutely correct. jon voight joins us once again, right after this.

5:43 pm
i'm sad to say that everybody that you predicted has in fact become true. it was some bold assertions about where we were headed as a country in this administration, and you and i have talked on many occasions since. you've also come today with a message for the american people. >> yes. it's wonderful to be here with you. i saw you outside, and you're very photogenic. >> they already love you, jon. >> thanks, governor for having the confidence in me to let me address the american people at this crucial time in american history. there's so much to say, so please forgive me if i read from my notes. and you may feel, as i go that you want to comment, you know, every once in a while. just jump in as if it was your show. >> okay.

that's very generous of you. i appreciate it. >> i'm here because of my heavy heart that a great man, degnash desouza, a patriotic man, more troyic than anyone i can think of at this moment, is being aggressively, negatively targeted in many ways. the latest targeting is the boycotting of the great important book "america, imagine the world without her." his film is based on this book, and should be seen by every patriotic american. it is in theaters now. five years ago i stated that obama would take the country apart, piece by piece, that he would cause a civil war in this country. in hindsight, we can see how

many things have come to pass. my greatest heartache is that we sacrificed thousands of our american heroes liberating iraq, only for president obama to pull out all troops, leaving iraq now to be taken over by the terrorists. what does he say about that? nothing. governor romney warned us about russia's agressions. now we have seen his concerns come to fruition. what does obama say about that? nothing. he has been warned numerous times by prime minister netanyahu that our most dang are you enemy now is iran, who will most definitely have the nuclear bomb, and it will not be for peaceful purposes. it will be to destroy israel and america, as they have stated. and we certainly can believe
5:46 pm
