thank you for starting your day with us. fox news alert. a bolt of lightening shuts down the monroe rail trapping tourists. >> the panic that was felt by guests at disney world. >> walt disney world says this particular monorail is the one that carries passengers through ep cot. many of you have been there. stormy weather is being blamed for bringing one of the monorails to a halt. a spokesperson says the elevated train stopped when severe thunderstorms caused a power outage from the monorail. some people tweeting on twitter about being stuck inside the monorail during a powerful storm. one says literally stuck on monorail in disney. lightening struck and we stopped. i am convinced that i'm going a die. >> today was a wonderful day i was stuck on a monroe rail for

two hours. i thought we were going to die from the heat #disney world #monorail. >> getting a real life thrill tweeted, hopefully they can get power restored and get the monorail moving. they were able to help all of the passengers evacuate the train. one rider taking it in stride tweeting trapped on a monorail at disney for almost two hours but i did get to climb on top of it #disney world #monday no trail. g bottom line is everyone is safe and for some the thunderstorm and lightening added up to being another fun day of thrill seeking at the amusement park which can also be a little scary. >> to climb on top of the monorail that's cool.

>> 850 feet a dangerous fire above the streets of new york city. six tourists enjoying this view of the top of rockefeller center suffering burns when flames came from a camera. nbc new york said it was their equipment that caught fire most likely their mounted weather cam. one child was taken to the hospital with minor burns. there was this a flight packed with people forced to make an emergency landing after a bird strike. someone on the ground snapped this photo of the plane circling the airport and dumping fuel into landing. the flight took off for liberty airport bound for museum by about 4:30 in the afternoon. one engine burst into flames before shutting down. we can tell you none of the 313 people on board were hurt. they had trouble flowing the flames away because it had

multiple burned tires from the landing. >> riots raging in argentina after the country loses to germany in the world cup finals. they had tear gas into the crowd trying to restrain the riders. 20 o 60 people arrested. it was because of this late goal by germany's player after nearly 150 scoreless minutes the 22-year-old substitute made german history. this is the country's first world cup in 24 years and the 4th ever. >> thousands tweeted as israel launches massive air strikes on the region there. israel warplanes dropping warning residents palestinian government telling people to stay in their homes calling it all israeli propaganda. hamas firing back sending more than 130 rockets across the border. more than 160 palestinians have

was forced to make an emergency landing. someone on the ground snapping this photo of the plane circling the airport dumping fuel before it is forced to land. the flight took off from newark liberty airport bound for mub by, india yesterday about 4:30 in the afternoon. one engine burst into flames before it finally shut down. none of the 313 people on board hurt. amazing. they had trouble towing that plane away because it had multiple blown tires from the really rough landing. a man driving a stolen mustang on the wrong side of the road slamming into a greyhound bus that was packed full of people. it happened 70 miles east of indianapolis, indiana. the driver of the car was killed. 19 of the 23 people on that bus were hurt. police say the driver stole the mustang moments before the cash. the bus was headed from st. louis to new york city.

obama does not need 4 billion to fix the border crisis. he is going across the country trying to gain support for this. what are some of the options on the table now? >> you either spend $4 billion the president wants to do or you make changes in the law. the white house reaching out to the nation's governors many of whom will be asked to play hosts to tens of thousands of children who flooded the border recently. one governor says the white house needs to send troops. >> they need to be there as a show of force because that's the message that gets back quickly to central america. >> there is also a move a foot the change of the 2008 law that lays out a lengthy legal process for young illegal immigrants that come from central america. although some say the law does allow for assessments. >> we are looking at changing

us. hi, d.n.a.a. what can -- had i, dana. what can you tell us? >> it happened during a storm last niept around 6:30 last night, about 120 people had to be evacuated from that monorail here at disney world. we have photos sent to us from the scene. these came from a walt disney world fan site, walt disney world news. the train broke down near the wilderness lodge, the line that connects with epcot center. the fire department tells us disney tried to reenergize the train, get power back to it and get it running again but that didn't work. as you can see in those photos, the fire department had to get people off using a platform truck and an aerial ladder. they evacuated dozens of guests through the roof of that monorail train. here are tweets that we have that we can share. this one from thrill geek.
