hospitalized. we will keep you posted. >> to another fox news alert for you this morning. terrorists targeting the up coming u.s. open tennis tournament. in the extremist magazine "inspire" the al qaeda group suggests the billy jean king building as a target. the government says there's no specific threat right now, but security will be ready. the u.s. open runs two weeks starting at the end of august. >> hundreds of people in central washington state being told to get out of their houses because of the fast moving wildfire. it is the latest in a handful of burnings that are happening across the state scorching hot temperatures and strong winds are driving the flames. >> close to 1,000 homes are threatened. a night of fun on a casino

cruise ship turned into a bit of anightmare. they were stuck at sea after the ship ran a ground off the coast of georgia. you can see it right there. the people on board had to sleep on the floors and use their life preservers as pillows. the coast guard was sent in to rescue the more than 100 people on board. take a look at the pictures as people are getting off. initial attempts failed when the toe lines -- tow lines broke. >> very scary. harrowing, harrowing in every sill boll of that word. >> the tug boat is from 1972. it did not do anything but pull and the rope popped. >> the passengers were eventually transferred on a small boat. to the crisis along our border. a possible bipartisan deal crumbles after a late night briefing for all 100 senators. democratic opposition increased as republicans fight against the

ground invasion is becoming more likely. they are investigating lois lerner's missing e-mails. peter doocy is covering this in washington. what are we expecting from today's hearing? >> now the focus is the investigation of the investigation into lois lerner's missing e-mails. jim jordan republican from ohio is leading today's look sat what happened to lois lerner's hard drive and the possibility raised in recent federal court hearings. those e-mails aren't actually gone for good. she says finally someone in the administration admits the destruction of two years of e-mails is fishy. democrats and republicans alike are upset with the lack of urgency the obama administration is bringing. the justice department says no need to worry. the quote, the irs investigation was launched by the department without hesitation and

job cuts later today. we have the fox business network with what we can expect. >> i have tough news for some of the workers today. we are waiting to hear from microsoft probably later today. the subway company is set to cut more than 6,000 jobs. that would be the deepest round of cuts in the company's 39 year history. many of the cities or many of the cuts by the way expected to come from the nokia unit the part they bought for $7 billion. the company plans to cut $600 million in costs over the next 18 months. a longer list of supplies and a bigger demand for electronics will cost parents more in back to school spending this year. according to the annual survey total spending on back too school items expected to reach 74.9 billion. that's up 3 percent from last year. the average for a person
