using. that's our show. see you next week. obey that ane protestors go home. we'll watch it, huckabee starts right now. >> tonight on huckabee, a week of chaos in ferguson, missouri as police clash with protestors and across the country cops are looking and acting more like soldiers. the militarization of police in america. tragedy on the race track. 20-year-old kevin ward junior struck and hit by stewart. >> it is the culture of car racing and that is a eye for eye culture. >> the governor responds tonight. >> and iraq's prime minister maliki steps down.

will the new leader put up a better fight against isis? . >> ladies and gentlemen, governor mike huckabee. (applause) >> thank you, thank you very much. and welcome to huckabee from the fox news studios in new york city. i never had a job that was a strict 9 to 5 job and even jobs as a tone ager paid minimum wage and by the hour they were not strict by the clock jobs. my jobs required a complosion of a specific task and took longer than 40 hours a week, so be it. vacations in my life have been rare. lots of travel but few vacations where i was disconnected from doubts and responsibilities. i wrote chapters of my 12 books

at 35,000 feet in the air. and i worked in israel, ireland and taiwan and korea and italy and spain. and i worked all nighters to hit a deadline. basically i worked my tail off. my dad didn't finish high school but he was a street smart kind of guy. he drilled to me show up early and stay late and never be asked but once to get something done. i have been watching our federal government in washington lately and by gosh, i realize, i am a sucker. mean, i am working long hours and long days to pay for the people in washington to take a long vacation. i have been asked to make a run for the presidency. ix&,fq conclude it might be a n reprieve from the hours i am putting in now.

(applause) president obama is simmer aring and summering over in martha's vineyard and adding to 186 rounds of golf as president. he played more rounds of golf as president than some in their entire lifetime. i never played golf and never had time. but if i became president and followed my steps in the fufrnt con. i might have time. and play music and fishing and parties with hollywood celebrities that last in the night. but what about the job? so many hard- working americans don't have jobs to work hard at. and tens of thousands of christians are slaughtered and beheaded by islamic savages and a dysfunctional government is spying on is thes and political opponents.
8:04 pm
i doubt there would be time to hang out in martha's vineyard. we either kill the wolf or watch the sheep die. issis is a cancer. it must do i. and israel is under daily assault by a terror group that broke the ceasefires. and instead of standing with them against hamas, we urged israel to offer up more dead jews so the body count will be more even. i don't begrudge the president time off but repeated vacations at taxpayers expense because millions of americans don't have money for a hot dog it seems unseemly. if president obama didn't want to do the job?

officers made a raid on a house that had no evidence found. what is chilling about it, it was a cavaliar attitude. i am a process law and order guy. and i think we ought to support the police and they do dangerous jobs on our behalf. have we crossed a line in some areas with what is called the militarization of police? >> definitely and i think all america is pro police. they are not saying anti- police or take police off of the streets. but when you kill innocent, and kill and maim a toddler and kill a 26-year-old marine in arizona, and then you go on the next day business as usual and use the military grade equipment on the civilian streets of america the line should be drawn. we should saw enough. >> are we using it because we
8:09 pm
