that incident has played a big part in many of the protestors being riled up and that story being played out in the media the last several weeks. now that account is coming into question. police reports show in 2011 dorian johnson was charged with stealing a package off someone's doorstep and then repeatedly lying about his name and his age when officers questioned him. he never showed up to his scheduled court appearance and there's still a warrant out for him for that charge. his attorney says those legal troubles have been taken care of and they have no impact on johnson's credibility in the case. here's the statement johnson originally made about michael brown's shooting. >> put his hands on the car and started to get down but he still approached him with is weapon on

as we head into the weekend. we have severe weather threats around the country. >> what's going on? >> we are expecting severe weather across portions of the plains and areas of heavy rain. flash flooding will be a concern out here as we head into later today. the risk for severe storms is going to include states like nebraska, parts of kansas and western iowa. tomorrow the storm threat shifts further off to the north. tomorrow we will be watching in addition to damaging winds and large hail but also isolated tornadoes for cities like far go and also in aberdeen. parts of the dakotas and minnesota could be seeing severe weather over the weekend. otherwise the other big story is how hot it is outside. it is summer but we are talking dangerous levels of heat. take a look at some of the highs 100 in dallas, 101 in dell rio. you factor in the humidity this is what it is going to feel like feels like 107 in kansas city and 102 in dallas.
