we found out about this friday afternoon. we wanted to take the weekend to step back as an organization, to -- we felt it was best not only for this organization but four our football team and for adrian to take care of everything personally he had to@ take care or over the weekend. we continue to gather as much information as we could, and that's where we're at as of today. >> the minnesota vikings organization discussing the situation with adrian peterson. he did not play yet. but he will be playing against the saints this week, as you heard from the organization. also today he issued a statement after being charged with child abuse and says she is, quote, sorry about the hurt i have brought my child. he went on to -- he has met with a psychologist and, quote, i have to live with the fact that when i discipline my son, the way i was disciplined as a child, i caused an injury i never intended or thought would happen. according to his text messages to the child's mother, he had this tree branch, which he

17 minutes past the hour. breaking news continues and coverage over the adrian peterson incident. the way the authorities found out about the injury to his child was that the child had a doctor's appointment scheduled. the child goes in. the doctor sees these marks, i'll call them. others called them welts on his back and buttocks when he pulled his pants down, and this injury

manhunt for the killer accused of ambushing two pennsylvania state troopers and killing one, is now in it's fourth day. there are lots of questions about exactly what happened. we could soon get some answers. police are now saying the surviving trooper is conscious and speaking for the first time. his name is alex douglass. a nine-year veteran. investigators say he and a fellow trooper namedir brion dickson were outside the police baracks on friday night. the gunman attacked them both, shot them both, dickson, seven year veteran, died. investigator says the gunman attacked with no warning at all and the troopers had no chance to defend themselves, a state police spokesman say the now(

celebrity photos online, the model is joy cory began. her lawyer says she told apple months ago somebody had broken into her account. she says apple ignored her initially and then told her to change her password. but somebody reportedly got into her account again, just days later. of course, a couple of weeks ago a user on 4chan leaked nude photos on the internet showing aye a-listers including jennifer lawrence and kate upton. cory began's lawyer won't deny whether anybody is pursueing a class action lawsuit she has contacted apple and is collecting information. sounds like she is trying to apply pressure. we have a defense attorney with us from los angeles. it would be very hard to prove they didn't just answer the right questions in the right>i way, and instead of breaching

apple security. >> that's exactly right. the question here is going to bl how did they get into their account? because of some flawed security system that apple has? or because she was sent an e-mail she responded to with her personal information that gave hackers the ability to just use her own user name and password to gain access to her account. that is called a phishing scam and happens to users on all platforms, not just apple. so it will be difficult to hold apple liable for a scam that could have been -- >> we don't know what kate upton and the rest are doing but do you see in any way a possible for something on a class action level against apple? >> i think it would be really difficult. i think that under these circumstances, they don't really qualify for a class, and it's unclear what their damages would be. i think most importantly is what

apple is saying, which is that this wasn't a hacking situation. this was a situation where somebody was using the security question in order to gain access to their password. so, when you forget your password on apple, you go in and click the forgot my password link, and asks you a series of questions, the answers you set up when you initially set up your account. so this hacker or hacks were because somebody was able to guess the answers to these security questions. that is not an inherent flaw in apple's system per se. more, it's flaw in these people and the way they've answered these questions. >> no doubt. thank you. one way to protect yourself in case somebody gets guesses the answers to your questions. if they're using a computer you never used before, you can set it up so you'll get a text message and you have to send a number in, two-step verification, very others easy to go. go to your cloud and set it up.

whatever this package is, it's caused authorities to close down that area, the international wing, and they're not allowing anybody in that terminal to check in. so as you might imagine there's some ground stop happening. on scene. but they're not allowing helicopters to fly overhead. that's not unusual at all. helicopters over, for instance, los angeles international airport, very much prohibited because of air traffic. at any rate, it's just a suspicious package but it's delayed flight times. check ifor flight. more in a moment.

forget about training. what the rebels in syria want is weapons. that from a commander of the free syrian army, one of the so-called moderate groups taking on the islamic state and the syrian president, bashar al-assad. the rebel leader says he has enough forces and they do not need american training but says they do neat antiaircraft weapons and anti-tank systems. the white house is pushing congress to approve a half bill dollar package for training and arming the moderate rebels as they call them but the administration resisted handing over powerful weapons out of fear the mill taps could use them against us. exactly what we saw when so many iraqi forcess deserted, leaving their arsenal in the hands of the islamic state. jennifer griffin is live from the pentagon. did any countries make commitments? >> the french began flight

his classmates repeatedly and constantly tormented him, shoved q oncethe ground and even[ pushed him down a school flight of stairs. the superintendent did tell us this, quote, this is a very tragic six-and our hearts and prayers remain with the family during this difficult time. we are aware the family held a press conference this morning and allegations of bullying were discussed. the schoolib board has a comprehensive bullying policy that is fully3 the seminole county sheriff's office is still investigating the case, specifically the bullying angle. so far none of the classmates has been charmed with anything. >> do we know how he got his hands on a gun? >> it was 40 caliber handgun, and as we expected, he brought it to school from the house. the gun belongs to his father, who attended this morning's press conference, unable to speak. tears run downing his face and satly silently.

more than a suspicious device -- not a school bus -- a yellow bus -- and something more than a suspicious device on there. according to san dimas sheriff's office, around 11:30 this morning, a little over an hour ago, somebody reported that there was some type of incendiary device on this bus, an explosive container. so, all the passengers got evacuated from the bus. the person who brought the device on to the bus has been detained. homes around and businesses have been evacuated and were waiting for arson folk to come in to check at the -- to see if anybody needed to respond to see what happened. some live pictures coming in now. the los angeles county sheriffs department says the investigation is wrapping up. a person boarded the bus with this container. it had gasoline in it. and a device that appeared to be
