>> i think we have to be skeptical sometimes. if they're saying there is a threat we have to take it at face value. the time something is interesting. it seems to come at a time they're trying to build up a support for war, right? and so you're right, how will we were so safe before and now suddenly out of the blue it seems that we have these terror attacks against the nights united states. >> isn't that troubling? we're waiting for can confirmation from our fox news reporters. what is troubling, sandra, exactly what jesse said, the administration has been on different pages on whether or not we could be attacked at home. we're hearing from the white house, no, no, not a big deal. hearing from the department of defense, yes, it could be imminent. it has been uncovered but not thwarted. i know iraqi government, not the most trustworthy bunch in the world why would they say something like this? makes me think, kirsten, to your

point, they're trying to garner support. there is a big vote tomorrow in british parliament. at the same time there is british hostage could be beheaded. part of the british community saying let's not bomb them. we don't want our hostage to be beheaded. terror plots are happening all over. we're vulnerable like our neighbors in france. we have to do something. >> i thought point going after isis make sure we went after the bad guys, we went after the terrorists. all of sudden going after isis in syria, more terror plots are emerging. you're damned if you do, damned if you don't. i said it before, said it again i question whether we have an endgame and immediate strategy. all david cameron and president said this will take long time. we'll not have any ground troops. it will not be sufficient force, show of force against isis. and you're creating all of these other tangents. >> kirsten, i know you're trying to jump in here, everybody is saying we haven't heard from

homeland security on all of this. president said last week. there was no known terror plot. >> they talked about lone wolves. they didn't talk about the terror groups. >> they said actually was a regular response to any known terror plots being reported. go ahead, kirsten. >> i really am concerned. i would love to have information about how they decide to go public with a terror plot. had there always been terror plots that they were sort of concerned about and they just didn't decide to be public about them? now it is just this convenient for them to do it? or are these actually more series and -- >> france and united states. two countries that are doing the airstrikes. >> the theory here seems to be from what i'm hearing, someone is using this as leverage to either galvanize western opinion and force us to come in harder against isis. is it baghdad putting pressure on france and great britain and united states to realize this threat is serious and we need ground troops? or is it administration? is it france? is it great britain?

♪ >> welcome back to "outnumbered." president obama is used to getting backlash from republicans for going around congress to get things done. two dozen lawmakers on both sides of the aisle, majority from democrats are pushing for congressional approval on airstrikes on isis. former advisor david axelrod is saying this, quote, i suspect president obama would be one pressing for debate and vote on this it is interesting when a guy becomes president of the united states he is vested with the responsibility of being commander-in-chief. you have to make different judgments because politics can get very difficult.

kirsten, let you take this first. >> i do think that the president sh authority. techally doesn't need it right now, to be doing what he is doing if we have imminent threat. under war powers act he has 60 to 90 days, but even with the authority he should go to congress. this is decision need to be made by congress and whole country needs to be invested in this. >> what do you think, sandra. >> what did you think about differentiation and president obama and senator obama making different decisions into i think axelrod is clearly mad at president because it makes the president look bad. it says that the president is wholly politicized making rational decision and. i've been a constitutional scholar for ten years. we have to return constitutionality to executive branch. too much power is concentrated in the executive brand. he is absolutely right, and fallen prey to the siren song.

working very hard. i think it is that. andrea the economy is to blame for a lot of this as well. it is not beneficial for people to jump into a marriage if both are not financially secure. i know a lot of people wait to get married until one or both in the marriage -- >> that time never comes. i blame sort of princess culture. so many women have this fantasy of a wedding that costs of tens of thousands of dollars. bank accounts together. now there's this expectation you both have to be at the top of your game -- >> yeah. >> wait a second -- >> if you're waiting for total financial stability, ask any rich person -- >> you guys saying you don't see 25-year-old men living in their basement with no income, you don't find that attractive? "outnumbered." a high school in upstate new york has banned national guard t-shirts because of what they call an inappropriate image on the front. on-campus recruiters can no longer hand out the promotional shirts because they show the silhouette of an american soldier holding a rifle. parents are calling the decision unpatriotic, but the interim superintendent says, quote, this has nothing to do with patriotism or anything to do with anybody disliking the military, it just has to do with the fact that there was a weapon on the shirt, and that just doesn't have a place in high school. >> is this a british high school? [laughter] >> this is a very proper, this is -- [laughter] >> it's a ritzy, upstate boarding school. >> i believe it was dump l door. no, this is ridiculous, waters. next they're going to call it an assault weapon. >> i don't know. i don't have a problem with the shirt. i think you draw the line when it becomes disruptive to the learning experience. if you have a shirt with a naked
