johnathon. >> the story is unfolding as we speak. public health officials expect to get the prelimary ebola test results by midafternoon. that patient remains under strict isolation in texas health presbyterian hospital in dallas. based on the patient's symptoms. a male had recently travelled from liberia, one of those west african nations affected by the wost ebola outbreak. the nonprofit parent organization said the hospital is following all centers for disease control and texas department of health recommending as to insure the safety of patients, hospital staff, and volunteers physicians and visitors. patients who show up with u.s. hospitals with fever or stomach pain are placed in isolation and tested for ebola if they

recently travelled to west africa. this happen over previous months and in each of those cases test results came back negative. sources tell fox, that investigators are looking at flights that the patients took on the way to africa, although apparently he had no symptoms during the travel which makes the risk of infecting other passengers low. if he is infected with ebola and we will learn more about that within the next couple of hours. former secretary of state hillary clinton will not run for president in 2016 but sounding presidential and keeping policy issues front and center in the appearances and. peter nicholas writes, mr. obama defeated her in the 2008 primary in part because voters found the message

thursday for disciplinary action and left that action to immediately carry out the attack. we now know that he left. he was escorted off of the property and went home and got the weapon and then returned. the da said it shoes calculation here and he was finally stopped after an executive shot nolan before he managed to hurt anybody else. nmr. nolan is in the hospital. and so with these charges, once he's released from the hospital he will be arraign the and i will be meeting with the family in the next few days and once the decision is made to pursue the death penalty. there will be a bill of particulars that will be filed and giving the defendant notice that we will be soaking the death penalty. >> and there is no terrorism statute in the state of

another missing student there. police have not said how these cases may be linked. joining me now is a criminal defense attorney. welcome to you both. >> good to be here. >> thomas, this is your client at this point. what do you think and how do you advise them? >> i would advice him to stay quiet. and probably a very good opportunity to engage the prosecutions and so if they can get death penalty taken off of the table. the more you learn about the case, the more evidence is linking jesse matthews to one homicide and this abduction and a possible homicide and sexual assault and other victims in the last few years. it looks like a difficult situation for anyone's client to be in. >> for the proscoug. >> and pick up right on that and this is your come to jesus

moment. tell me where she is now. and hopefully she is still alive. tell me where she is. and identify and find her body so the parents have closure. you do that and perhaps i would take the death penalty. and we have a forensic link. we have a big new piece of evidence out there and that could help you as a defendant. you don't come now or before that arraignment on thursday, that's it if they find the victim. and that is. and that is what we think it is. it is blood or finger print or dna evidence. you know, shannon as well as i do that works in a courtroom. >> yeah, if you have multiple cases. one that we have a link to and other unsolved cases in the central virginia region.

problem and an epidemic. why the change in >> this is the boldest statement from a doctor's group. the narcotic class of morphine and oxycontin shouldn't be used for routine problems because people are addicted to them and long- term problems. this is not a naturally occurring disease to be addicted. it is a manufactured problem and doctor's groups are saying we are over prescribing medications and we underprescribe them, to. >> it is too easy for doctors to fill out a prescription. >> if you have 15 minutes with a patient and someone demands a narcotic refill for their problem, it's very hard to get in to the intricate and

a weaning and tapering plan to get off those medications and we are tempted in our consumer culture of medicine to preskroib that. a lot of countries only prescribe if you have a second-degree burn or fresh out of surgery or cancer. >> if you are suffering from pain and taking them now, what should you do. most important thing to meet with a doctor that specializes in pain management. good doctors that come up with a long- term weaning program. i give medications coming out of surgery as a surgeon and we make it clear. they have to have a plan to reduce medications otherwise you have risk of addiction. celebrities can get on narcotics for a short period of time easy to stay on them long- term. and half of those folks on for

bans. several of these bans exist in cities, like san francisco. it would allow grocers to charge 10 cents for paper or for reusable bags instead. meanwhile, los angeles is doing away with a 60-year-old law that requires all skyscrapers to have flat tops and helicopter pads on top. it was originally designed to help firefighters in an emergency, but it turns out officials say that new technology has now made that flap top requirement obsolete. nearly two dozen police in mexico on the other side of the law in the deaths of six students. that's after violence swept through the streets in the southern state of guerrero during student protests there. at least 50 students are missing following the chaos. will carr has more from our newsroom. will. >> reporter: here's what we know, shannon. pure chaos broke out in this part of mexico over the weekend. this is in the southwest part of the country in the troubled state of guerrero. statistically speaking, this was

the most dangerous part of mexico throughout all of last year. this is a region that is run by gangs. on friday and into saturday six people were killed. 25 wounded. 57 students are now missing. now, we want to know that no americans were involved in the clashes that took place, but here's what happened. authorities say a group of radical students seized three buses trying to take them to the capitol for some sort of demonstration. that forced police to arrive. the state attorney general says they then killed two protesters. witness saz unidentified civilians showed up when all of this is going on and started shooting as well. it's still unclear as to what happened after that, but a youth soccer team got caught in the crossfire. a 15-year-old from that group was killed. witnesses then say they saw police taking 40 students away from the scene. we don't know what happened to those students after that. authorities are now investigating 22 police agents have been arrested. that sparked protests both yesterday and today. again, no americans involved, but needless to say, shannon,
