radicalization to the north of us and did the gunman have any ties to isis? here to weigh in on all of this is the foundation for defense of democracy. thank you so much for being with us this morning. let me start with the question about isis. we are hearing unconfirmed reports we have ties to isis the suspect. is that true what do you know? >> i was able to post a photo of him very quickly which there may have been some foreknowledge. over all isis has been calling for the killing of westerners and some people acted upon it other than the timing of this there's nothing concrete right now. >> we don't know if he had gone over to train maybe in syria and come back to the west using his passport? >> it is not clear. it seems unlikely given that hz passport did get taken away. if he had gone over to syria there's a good chance he would have been prosecuted. he would have been high risk.

what kind of ties are there we don't know right now. >> this is the second attack in three-days. what do we know about the radicalization in canada tip point and how it will effect us in the u.s.? >> we know a number of canadians had gone over to syria. the exact figure is a little bit murky. prior to that you had a number of canadians who went over to somalia el shab bob which is an official off affiliate. you had terror spots in canada the most significant of which is toronto with 18 people who wanted to attack major canadian institutions and behead the prime minister. as for the impact in the united states that remains to be seen. one of the biggest is relatively lax environment or at least it

fence. >> the secret service officials say a man climbed a fence on the north lawn and made it about 20 yards before he was taken down. fox news cameras were rolling as two canine's attacked the man he kicked and punched one away before the second one stopped him as secret service agents tackled him to the ground. he has been identified and is from bellaire maryland. he spoke to a local reporter saying he has a history of mental illness and suffers from paranoia and is being used by surveillance. t this just another in a long line of secret service at the white house. this is the 7th fence jumping this year. they made it to the white house itself with a knife. this indictment has been delayed
