hemmer. >> slight changes out there today. let's go through it again. on the what if scenario for what we think may happen. this is based on the polling again, okay? you're at 55-45, that's your baseline foundation for where you start in the u.s. senate. we do believe that west virginia is likely republican. so too is south dakota and likewise for -- >> you're taking away my -- i like conservatives to take over a little more of the country. >> you have three on the board right now. that's where republicans believe they'll have, 52-48. what did we see earlier today? we talked about south carolina, this is a poll we saw today. at a high point north carolina it's tied, kay hagan, 44, thom tillis at 44. all in all, very close. you're at one percentage point. there's one other race in the country that i'll get to in a moment that is slightly closer

than that. they're going to spend more money on this race in north carolina than we've ever seen in a singular senate race. >> in terms of the little analysis, hagen was up four or five consistently. >> she appeared to be. >> up till the last week and a half. >> then you see a little bit of movement there. >> swing towards tillis. >> the polling has gone toward tillis, but if democrats are able to get a firewall next tuesday -- >> it's going to be north carolina. you will know early on in the night whether hagen. >> remember back in 2012 it took a little longer for romney to take the state and that was an indicator that, uh-oh -- >> the future on that. now i want to go up to the northeast because something's moving up here in new hampshire. i don't know what it is. i don't even know if it's legitimate, but scott brown according to the poll has a one-point lead now. >> second poll in two days that has scott brown up. >> we've been watching this, real clear average. you take them together, 2.2

points for shaheen overall when you put them together. you know what he's hammering her on? >> immigration. >> ebola and isis, too, national security. so it seems to be working for right now up in new hampshire. >> that's now in play where i didn't think it was in play a week ago. >> i'd agree with that also. it is definitely in play at the moment and could go either way. >> that was a surprise to me. we'll see. >> in iowa right now another blue state that republicans want to turn red. we saw this poll a little bit earlier today. this is a college out of dubuque, iowa, and bruce braley, according to this poll at the college, he's got a one-point lead over joni ernst. we've tracked her movement. she's gone steadily up. >> that's one outlier. she's been study in about three in the lead now coming down to this poll. but still up. >> 1.7 if you put them all together. there's a very popular republican governor. he's doing very well in the polling right now. they believe she can draft off of him.

but we're about to see whether or not that's about to happen. >> close, though. >> yes, it is. and north carolina very close. the closest race in the country still is kansas right there in the middle. there's not a lot of new polling on this, but there are 0.6% between pat roberts who again i mentioned a week ago seemed to be getting some legs under him against greg orman. orman an independent. roberts try to cast him as a democrat. >> orman says he's an independent. >> that's where the folks in kansas -- but a month ago he was -- >> interesting. >> this is going -- >> -- he hasn't answered the question who would he pick for majority leader. harry reid? >> a few more questions he's not been able to answer. >> keystone pipeline. >> probably hurt him, too, with the folks in kansas. early voting, it's happening right now. we think about election day first tuesday in november, it really started weeks ago. i did a lot of research earlier today trying to figure out where's the movement in some of these states.

generally speaking, republicans feel good about what they're seeing in iowa. generally speaking, republicans feel good about what they're seeing in colorado. >> okay. >> generally speaking, democrats feel good about what they're seeing so far in north carolina. >> some other things i was picking up on here. >> did you see the poll coming out. >> first dan sullivan in vegas and alaska? i just want to conclude on this. in florida, the reason why i'm so cautious about talking about early voting is because you can read whatever you want to read into this early voting. republican look for your information, democrat look for your information. yesterday morning there was information in southeast florida that suggested heavy voting in the heavy democratic counties of florida that was turnout was very low. 24 hours later they said rick scott -- i'm sorry. >> charlie crist. >> charlie crist has good news over rick scott. so a bit difficult to read. >> i had heard north carolina was the early voting was

to really go and make some fundamental changes in washington. and so they're duking it out, you know, progressive versus progressive in some of these states. itses a foolish, they're spending this money where they could have united the country which most americans actually agree with. >> they will have an opportunity if in fact the polls are right and the polls are up and down and on any given day you see states one candidate is up, i can't really tell, i don't have a crystal ball. but assuming they get control of the senate, it would be good for two reasons. first and foremost it would stop the barack obama agenda, i would hope. >> what are they going to do on immigration? because that's going to be the big one. >> the first thing that's going to happen, sean, he's printed the green card. with the stroke of a pen, he is going to make the illegals legal. so now if they have control of the house and the senate, what do they do? and what moral authority do they

have to be able to actually make any kind of moves? >> the only constitutional authority is the power of the purse which they've been unwilling to use up to this point. >> correct. they haven't used it on really easy kind of things. they're going to use it on this? and what's that going to do to the country at this point? if they actually got into power, i would really love to see them start with things that would unite all of us. for instance, on themselves say, look, we're here to police ourselves first. because everybody knows washington is broken. so we're going to start on insider trading. no longer can we have insider trading, no longer can congress not live by the same exact laws that everybody else does. we're going to make sure that we don't have any special exemptions on obamacare. we're going to reduce our salary. we're going to put term limits in for us. if they went and they attack themselves first, they would actually have the moral authority to be able to -- >> you and i are on the same

true stories of the heroes and villains who make america." glenn beck. if i had my way i'd want a return to the constitution, number one. i want to secure our borders. i'd want to stop robbing from our children. i like the penny plan. i'd like choice in health care. i like health care savings accounts. i would certainly like school choice. that would be a big issue of mine. and a recognition that radical islam exists which we don't have right now like in the case of ft. hood or the case of oklahoma. what are glenn beck's top six items for house to turn the country around? >> return to common sense, return to common sense, return to common sense, return to common sense, return to common sense. you are not going to be able to fix anything until we can at least admit and then fix the low hanging fruit. it comes from common sense.

these are the ones that i don't think are necessarily the easiest or the hardest or the biggest. these are just the ones that i think americans can pretty much see, oh, that's common sense, yes, we should do that. for instance, americans don't feel like they're -- they're not secure. they're not secure in health, they're not secure in their economic prosperity and they're not secure with terror. so what do you do? let's start with health, ebola. it's very clear. you can fly all the planes, all the doctors, all the resources, anybody you want to africa, but if they're flying out of west africa, they've got to come through an isolation and they're in for 21 days. it's really simple. that just gives you confidence. whether it even does anything or not, it restores katie and restores common sense. two on terror, you're exactly right. we have to start saying the truth. it is not radicalized islam. this is psychotic islam. anyone who thinks that you can behead people that disagree with you, that's psychotic.

that's got to be called for what it is. and also announce that, yes, it does happen here in america as well. it is all throughout the planet. we have to recognize it, see what it is, rip it out by its roots. that doesn't mean we hate anybody. that's common sense. the next thing is economic. you know, we have to just at least start admitting that we have a problem. people say that our economy is doing fine. our economy is not doing fine. i have verifiable -- anybody who is an economist can tell you this is verifiable. they're telling us that the fed is printing so much money or digitizing because we're worried about deflation. well, deflation doesn't happen unless you don't have any velocity of money. if you don't have money going out and being spent, it's because people don't feel secure. they don't have the money. they don't have jobs. that's why nobody spends money. so they're worried about

deflation. they're printing money. i keep saying, hey, inflation, inflation, watch inflation. we're not worried about that. if you're not worried about inflati inflation, that is verification that you know our economy is deathly ill because once you fix the engine, velocity hitsthen y. they're worried about deflation. you're printing too much money. you're setting us up for a vimar republic. those three things you could easily fix. the economy, we have to fix the engine of the economy. we have to stop the fed from digitizing any more money. enough is enough, stop spending it. on health care let's just start with ebola. stop the flights out of africa without isolation. and the last one is stop with the political correctness. let's stop saying that this is a gun and somebody chopping off your head is workplace violence. that doesn't make any sense. >> let me ask you the reality here.

because in principle, i agree with everything you said. i'd say it a little differently. the penny plan, take a penny out of every dollar. we're breaking open our kids' piggy banks. secure the border for ebola and isis. radical islam, school choice, health care that people can buy across state lines, pre-existing conditions. >> yep. >> free markets -- but my fear is i don't hear very many. there are a few ted cruizes out there, do you have faith that they'll do a lot of these things? >> let me answer this way. when george bush -- i saw george bush -- barack obama was still running. and he was running against hillary. and at the time hillary was

winning. this is the day that barack obama said i'll just fly the planes over the border into syria and i'll just bomb -- not syria -- pakistan. i'll just bomb pakistan. that was insane at the time. that was a day i was meeting the president in the oval office. mr., what do you think of that. he said, trying to comfort me, glenn, don't worry. whoever sits behind this desk in this office will find that their hands are tied. they'll get the same advice that i've been getting. believe me they'll do almost exactly the same thing that i have done. i fear -- he tried to make me feel better on that. that did not make me feel better. it's come true. i fear whoever gets into office unless they truly have a spine and they listen to the american people and to common sense, they're going to do exactly the same thing. >> half the population wants bigger government. we believe in lichlted government. we believe in greater responsibility. half the country according to the latest gallup poll, they

welcome back to "hannity." earlier today president obama your commander in chief took time out of his very busy golf schedule to leave d.c. and head to the battleground state of wisconsin in an effort to unseat republican governor scott walker. here with reaction to that and more congressman paul ryan. so he's had a pretty rough run of it. and it's his third election in four years, very tight race. what do you think's going on on the ground? >> i think we're going to win because we're battle tested here in wisconsin. like you say, three elections in four years. we're used to the outside money coming in trying to take our state from the hard working taxpayers in wisconsin. barack obama is here for two reasons. he's two peas in a pod with mary burke. she's a libber eral progressivet like him. it's all about turnout. he's here to try to drive turnout. a very close election. we feel like we've had a good turnout system going. our voters are very mobilized. i've been crisscrossing the

state all week. i'll be in a bus with scott walker in wisconsin tomorrow. we've got energized voters because scott walker did his job. here's the story. he told people what he was, what he believed, what he was going to do, then he got elected and he did it. his reforms are working. he balanced the budget, lowered taxes, turning the economy around, reforming our schools. it's actually working. but it's close because scott has had tens of millions of dollars of liberal special interest money coming from outside of wisconsin pounding him down trying to make this a close race. >> i was in wisconsin at a tournament my kids were at. and i saw a lot of the ads. you were the only one of all the states i've been in in recent weeks that actually ran a positive ad about solutions. but i saw the ads against governor walker. you would think he's the worst criminal ever to be a governor. >> right. >> didn't he take a high deficit and a lot of debt, didn't he turn it into a surplus and high unemployment rate that has

almost been reduced in half? >> that's right. he took over a $3 billion deficit and turned it into a surplus, lowered property taxes. act ten we call it. he gave us control of our state government back. he asked that people that work for the state government pay something for their health and pension benefits just like the hardworking taxpayers who paid for them in the first place do. and he gave us the ability to reform our schools at local school district level and those reforms are working. we're getting more jobs in wisconsin, more employers relocating, balanced budget, reformed schools, it's working but the liberal progressives are coming unglued. they don't want to see these reforms stick. i always tell people courage is on the ballot. trying to accepted a signal to any other reformer don't dare try this because we'll get you next. >> the ads are worse than the ad of a paul ryan look alike throwing poor grandma over the cliff, i think it was that bad. by all accounts this should be a good year for the republicans a week from tonight.

i don't know. i don't have a crystal ball. but i look at the polls. that's what the polls tell us. if the republicans get control of the senate, what does that mean for the country? what does that mean for obama's agenda? >> we stop his agenda, we stop him from stacking the courts with liberal progressives that could never get a bipartisan vote, from stacking regulatory agencies with liberals that can never get a bipartisan vote. that's what the senate does to begin with. but then we give the president the luxury to make a decision or two. put bills on the desk, keystone pipeline, things that we pass out of the house that go nowhere because of harry reid and the senate. we passed over 380 bills dealing with things like border security, job security, energy policy, keystone pipeline, and they go nowhere in the senate. 380 plus bills sitting in the senate collecting dust because harry reid won't pass them. and if we do get the senate we can put those bills on his desk. >> then we can see where the

president stands and if he'll veto those bills. >> that's right. >> if the poll follows through on his threat for executive amnesty, what do you have in terms of tools at your kidispos to stop him from doing that? >> first of all, it's unconstitutional. we're already going through the court system on other unconstitutional executive orders that he's worked on and we would add this to the pile. second of all, if we can get the power of the purse, we'll explore every option that we can to exercise that to get this executive to honor the constitution. if he were to do something like that, by the way, he'll put million of people in legal limbo, poison the well for congress, and do something that's so blatantly unconstitutional and so we're telling the administration don't even think about doing this. >> i have little doubt that he'll do it. >> well, i don't know the answer to that question. we'll find out. but if he does do that, it's not constitutional. it's going around congress. if you want to change a law, go
