the midterms. the republican businessman bruce runner will be illinois's first republican governor in a dozen years and in florida. rick scott won reelection and taking a victory over republican turned democrat charlie crist. that was a squeaker and a percentage point between the two men. and ohio, the governor's office remains in republican hands and john kasich is considered a 2016 presidential hopeful and he beat out democratic ed fitzgerald. and there is a couple of races that are too close to be called. we are watching alaska and vermont. and the pick up is four. and the democrats had one pick up made in pennsylvania. >> molly line, thanks. >> republicans say the strong

republican power structure going to go in terms of trying to get a deal with the president. there is two different schools of thought on that of course. and mitch mcconnell having won the job he's been waiting for is going to have a heck of a hard time trying to balance the desires of the conservatives that are taking the president on for all of the years and seven in purple or blue states and running in 2016. they are running in still democratic states next time and they will want to get it done. and it is a balancing act ahead of him. and it is on the house side. and speaker john boehner had trouble coralling his majority that is bigger now. and what about mitch mcconnell,

and a net positive with the republicans taking the senate, mosty on the idea that business friendly policies will come out for the industries and more broadly, it kind of means that nothing will get broken intentionally in washington. no kind of gainsmanship and all of that is off of the table. and you have clarity. and for certain industries, it is it a positive thing. and midterm elections in general are positive for this ensuing six months and whatever reason the market has done well following midterm elections. >> and market is looking for small ball out of washington and there will not be huge changes and not obama care. >> that is like corporate tax
