up the fact that two-thirds of the voters didn't show up in the polls. in his estimation, that was the liberal base. the president is taking the tack that we need to move to the left rather than what bill clinton did which was to move to the middle. he said no, moving to the left and planning to move forward with the immigration reform plan that just a year ago is not possible because he needed to follow the law. politics plays a huge role in all of this and dictating why we are hearing him now. i don't know if he is certain if he will move before congress passes the continuing. or after. he promised to do something by the end of this year. >> how come such anger and outrage to this president? president reagan did the same

thing in 1986 that affected 3 million illegal immigrants at the time. some are saying he is sticking by his principles and others see politics. >> don't forget after reagan acted in the '80s people faulted the move and the problem never got solved and people are afraid we'll repeat that now. republicans say we need border security first. the president said no, i have given you enough time. you have had a year and half now. and you haven't done anything. on november 4th, democrats lost big at the polls and now the president is going to double down on the policys that voters appear to have rejected and that is spurring outrage, particularly through the republicans. >> not just republicans.
