ladies and gentlemens, governor mike huckabee. >> and welcome to huckabee from the knocks news studios in new york city. this past week i was having lunch with the british parliament in london when i saw video of the senseless murder of five israelis in a synagogue on tuesday. islamic terrorists carried guns and five into the synagogue even as jewish worshippers prayed. the kind of evil, gutless and immoral -- hate crime and godlessness. their is a religion of evil. there's no real god would order a slaughter of innocents as they worshipped. only a manufactured god would ever lead people to commit irrational acts of horror, all

upon civilians in the name of making a point. as we have come to expect. even so embarrassingly, our own american government led by the inept in israel led by the hating of barack obama and his bally incompetent and ever so arrogant john kerry reacted with significant -- on one side are murdering savages, creating carnage to people as they prayed, on the other wuss a civil government forced to wipe the blood of the innocent people from the very floors of a house of worship. the despicable attempt to bring moral -- is as disgusting as justifying the attack on pearl harbor because we had too many ships for the likes of the japanese government. i repudiate the obama administration for having a hole where a moral come pass should be it trots out intentional

liars like jonathan gruber who contempt woisly -- as he describes poison that he calls medicine. it pretends that the constitution has been repealed and replaced with a rift that allows the president to be king, issued a decree that we have no borders, no laws and no common sense, at a time when we really could use a president who leads, we have one who follows, that follows the lowest common denominator of decency, his policies are trounced in -- and he hears the voices of the nonvoters more clearly than of the voters. both houses of congress will soon be led by a party other than the circus of barack obama, harry reid and nancy pelosi, and it's incumbent upon them to oppose the embarrassing foolishness of a party that can't see the difference between a lawful nation who defends himself and lawless terrorists who bomb and murder their way to recognition.

i urge republicans, do more than oppose, i urge them to propose ideas that will help americans have jobs and be safe. and to expose the corruption contempt for law that's plaguing our nation. and to impose an inherns, to the law, for all americans without regard for who they are and how much money they give to the politicians. that sure would make this thanksgiving something to be thankful for. on friday, president bhaum signed check give orders that will delay the deportation of nearly 5 million illegal immigrants while thumbing his nose at congress and the american people. he then traveled to the las vegas at taxpayer expense to rally up support forehis actions. >> weier going to keep on members of congress to keep -- until that day comes, there are actions that i have the legal
5:06 pm
authority to tairk that will help make our immigration system more fair and more just and this northern i began to take some of those actions. i wasn't going to sit idly by and do at least what i was authorized to do. >> greg abbott says he plans on challenging the president's actions in court. john patrick was just elected lieutenant governor of the state of texas, he won 53% of the male hispanic vote despite his strong views on border security. and lieutenant governor elect dan patrick joins us now. great to have you here, senator. >> your election surprised a lot of people because you got a reported number of votes from the hispanic community for a republican candidate, even of president bush when he was governor of texas and he was always considered the standard of getting hispanic support. that shocks people because you're not an anti-imgrant, but
5:07 pm
you're for a strong boeshder and enforcement of laws. >> we treat people as people not as groups as democrats do. and hispanic voters are concerned about schools and economic opportunities and they want law oochbd order on the border and my election with greg abbott pro-ed that, we received 45 to 46% state wide of the hispanic vote. both sides governor, i believe in washington have misgauged the views on boarder security in a hispanic community because they want law and order imposed as well. >> walk me through what you think some of the reforms ought to look like that would be acceptable, not only to the hispanic community, but acceptable to all americans. >> well, first of all, you really can't have any reforms in this country dealing with the millions who are here until you secure the border. you'll never end the problem of
5:08 pm
illegal imgrigs -- and let me tell you, something, governor, there are stat tis tixs that most americans just don't know and the who is apparently don't know. we and pre4e7bd more people coming across the border each week than babies are born in texas. that would put the number in just one year at about a million and a half. this idea that we only have 11 million illegal people here in this country is just a foolish number. it's many more than that. secondly, governor, the people are coming here for a job, they need to come here legally, we need to have legal reform in washington. but our real concern is got terrorists and criminals. we arrested over 143,000 hardened criminals and we charged them with a half a politicalon crimes including 5,000 rapes and 2,000 murders in just a four-year peertd.
5:09 pm
we have apprehended hundreds of people from pakistan, from somalia. this is an issue of national security. so what the president should be doing is what we're doing here in texas and that is putting all out every to secure the border. we have seen apprehensions go from around 78,000 a week down to under 2,000 a week. in other words, a multiplier of force, technology and boots on the ground make a difference. once you address that issue, governor, then we should address the people here in this country. not until we secure the border. >> explain to me really quickly that the lawsuit that the governor elect greg abbott has proposed to stop the executive action. how would that effectively work? >> effectively, governor, we believe that the president is violating the constitution. so it would stop the current programs in place that he has proposed in the last couple of
5:10 pm
days, and it would bring us back to where people who are here illegally are still viewed at being here legally without any legal status. and again, if you look at the results of our election, 4 1/2 million votes, and began i won the hispanic male vote unheard of in texas and 46% to 45%, of the total hispanic vote, it says american hispanic citizens agree with us, secure the border. and one other thing that i have talked about during my campaign, we should not have a defact toe immigration policy where you have to die to come to america. nothing that the president said the other night is going to stop people from trying to come over here illegally. we pick up hundreds of boyds each year, governor of people who are brought here by cartel kyotos. no christian nooirgs should have
5:11 pm
a de facto policy that says to come to our country, you have to die to get here. >> senator patrick thank you for joining us. great to have you back. >> thank you, governor. coming up, more on the president's check tiff action on immigration. does congress now even have incentive to act? and how does the hispanic citizens feel about it? stay tuned. helps you be ready anytime the moment is right. cialis is also the only daily ed tablet approved to treat symptoms of bph, like needing to go frequently. tell your doctor about all your medical conditions and medicines, and ask if your heart is healthy enough for sex. do not take cialis if you take nitrates for chest pain, as it may cause an unsafe drop in blood pressure. do not drink alcohol in excess. side effects may include headache, upset stomach, delayed backache or muscle ache. to avoid long term injury, get medical help right away for an erection lasting more than four hours. if you have any sudden decrease or loss in hearing or vision, or any allergic reactions like rash, hives,

5:15 pm
at our border last summer, how horrific it was. well next summer, it could be worse. and this action also punished those who have obeyeds the law and have waited their turn. >> joining me now is daniel gar za. daniel, let me start with you, you think president obama's immigration plan, is it fair? is it the way it should be? >> i think it's fair, i like the relief it gives to immigrants who have been here quite some time, who are hard workers, indews tree you and lie ah biding. it's partial in it's folks so it leaves out 8 million folks who are still in the shadows, also it is vulnerable to being resichbded or revoked either by congress or by a conservative
5:16 pm
supreme court. so it's a start, but i think it was done entirely arbitrarily and with a political intent and that i think is going to hurt the immigrants in the end. >> i think that's one of the concerns, it's not just what he did but it's how he did it. tell me what your concerns are about what the president has done. >> this is for the president not for democrats. we have really held them accountable on this issue and we put them to the task. that should be recognized straight up. one of the good things of this executive order is that it provides protection to about 4 million undocumented imgrants. it leaves out 7 million, it's going to continue the problem of deportation, it's a temporary problem, it now pushes the issue straight up on the laps of the congress which is now under the control of the republicans. >> i don't know people who want to punish people because they want to come to america, my
5:17 pm
gosh, all of us had ancestor who is came to america. but the problem is that there's not been a lawful process. i blame the government more than i blame imgrants, but unfortunately, does this create now a sense in which people will rush here trying to get in under whatever new deadline has been imposed about saying i've got to get there. now how do we know we have been here five years. >> i think it very well might because there was some sign of that when docca was initiated, there was a roush to the border. if you had been in america sometime in the last ten years, come back and reclaim that position. so you are going to see a rush. i think it's important that we supercede executive action with fall legislation, whether it's piecemeal, whether it's comprehensive, but i think republicans would make a mistake and they think that inaction or obstructing or stopping what the president has done is leadership or is a reflection of leader
5:18 pm
ship. leadership is drive solutions, govern, propose something if you don't agree with what the president is doing so we can resolve the issues and improve the economy. >> how likely will congress be, the president has just taken this action and he keeps saying, i want to work with congress, i don't see any evidence of him wanting to work with congress, none at all, zero. >> the senator just gave out a promising statement, saying the only way to go forward if republicans want to take the upper hand on the issue is to come up with a legislative solution. >> what would that look like? >> it would provide a permanent solution to the undocumented imgrant problem, the folks that are already here. certainly open us to addressing the border issue. the backlog visa issue, to people that are in line, there needs to be a balanced approach that really addresses the core of the broken immigration
5:19 pm
system? >> but those who have committed crimes, those who have been arrested, they ought to be ze ported. they're messing it up for everybody, is that a fair assessment. >> we outlawed the comp assumption of -- many americans violated federal law, were they bad people? some of them were. >> i'm not talking about immigration, i'm talking about where people have been involved in drunk driving. >> i think that reform where we can now focus on those folks who have not merited the opportunity to become residents like other folks have who will now prove themselves through a program through maybe a worker visa program, where both sides can come to an agreement. the status quo does not allow us to do that. the problem festers. that's the problem. any movement away from the status quo, i think all we agree, border security, and worker visas, that we can at least move forward on these kind

we have got to be able to go back and deal with some of the those sub cultural ignorances so that we're not overgeneralizing and giving ourselves too much credit here, but by all means, it's much easier for me in many, many ways as a black man in america, and many other people. but there are many individuals who are also struggling as well with certain laws and adjudications and so forth that really, truly are sich tom mattic of racist tendencies. >> i appreciate both of you and your spiritual leadership. i don't think it matters what we do politically, until we change this country spiritually and morally we're not going to see a lot of things really improve. and i'm still kwinlsed that's at the heart of a lot of our problems but we're still going to find solutions. i think bringing people together in a spiritual way is where we need to go and i thank you both for being here and thank you for what you're doing this week.

lincoln is the co-chair of the -- we talked politics a couple of weeks ago, but this is frankly one of the most important topics that i don't hear anybody talking about. tell me how big it is, this internet gaming with kids. >> it's huge. and it's bad for our kids, it's bad for our families and it's bad for our economies, because it's the kids that don't know what they're doing. kids have been playing video games forever. my boys, my husband steve and i, we worked hard to noll the guidelines for age appropriate things, but the fact isa they're used to do it. they get on, they grab a parent's phone, they get into it, a credit card, a kid, a single mom, he stole two of her credit cards and in a unanimous flow second, $20,000 in debt on her credit card. that's destroying our families
