"cashin' in" starts now. i'm eric bolling. welcome to "cashin' in." our crew, wayne rogers, jonathan hoenig in studio, and michelle and juan welcome everybody. worried about the interrogation techniques used on the war on terror. the war the bush administration felt hard and well a wamp the obama administration can't even admit to. at what cost? war on terror? techniques that should and should not be used. keep in mind, 9/11 alone cost america dearly, over 3,000 lives lost, and a $3 trillion hit to the economy. jonathan, your thoughts on where do -- that old, that age-old question, security versus freedom. knowing, transparency -- >> eric, this report disgusts me. nothing wrong with torture. extension of the use of physical force. whether or not to use it is up to the generals.

it's the civilian, the president, that sets the policy. sets the values. the value should be protecting americans, and ending the war, period. >> would you agree with that, wayne? >> it's a question i think, the moral question, do you talk about it? that's the real question. they're saying, was this revealed? is that the question, or is it the question of actually using torture? of course, using torture, per se morally is repugnant. on the other hand, revealing it is everybody's concern that by revealing it you'll get the enemy riled up. that's nuts. war is war. you do whatever you have to do to win. >> michelle, if we don't, if we don't do this, and we let the terrorist run wild, don't we risk another 9/11 attack, honestly? $3 trillion. we spent a lot of money after 9/11 just to recover. >> well, i question the motivation behind releasing this report. democrats spent $40 million, taxpayers dollars, putting together this report and releasing at a time we are at

war with isis. these inflammatory details will own motivate and encourage our enemies to come after us. we've already talked about this and discussed this issue and policy. why open this chapter again? it seems as if democrats are motivated by politics more than the -- what's best for the american people. >> right, right. >> right? if democrats cared so much about the suspected terrorists and their civil liberties and rights, why aren't they up set about the president's drone policy killing innocent people, bystanders and children? this to you, juan. another big story this week. the rollingstone piece, literally went into the piece with the conclusion first and then found what she thought were enough, not even facts but enough information to make the piecework for her. this senate, democrat report, put together by senate democrats, didn't even talk to john brennan, george tenet, porter goss or michael hayden, the former cia directors.

concerning. this is not just information like e-mails or photos. this is health information. some of the information that came out is employees, the types of health problems they have. the health problems of their children. it's not uncommon for people in human resources to exchange information in terms of claims to health insurance companies. now all that stuff is on the internet. it can certainly happen to people at any company. >> i want to turn this debate and ask you a question. who died and made al sharpton the spokesperson for everything racial in america. the reason why i ask that, amy pascal, the chief at sony, had an e-mail exchange with one of her main producers and in it there was some racial slurs that implied some context to president obama. so they apologize for it. but then amy pascal contacted al sharpton? i don't get that. >> you know, i don't get it either, except this is the way it works now. i think especially among the
