lee today. schools are closed and an entire community on edge with increased security in hospitals and local and state and federal agencies step up the manhunt for the marine veteran. he is accused of killing his ex-wife and five of her family members. rick is live in eagleville pennsylvania. rick, what did we learn from the police in the press conference? >> the da said it was a harrowing and challenging day and a half. and a massive manhunt including the county police department and swat times and fbi and u.s. marshal's service. and they said bradley stone targeted family members, he is on the run and armed and dangerous and a possible threat to the community. authorities released an updated photoof stone with close cut red

hundreds of thousands of rape evidence kits are not being tested across the country. those kits, of course, can could provide dna evidence identifying or eliminating rape suspects. now a new $35 million program paid for by the manhattan d.a.'s office could ease the backlog and, of course, bring some criminals to justice faster. laura engel joins us here with more. laura. >> good afternoon. this money is being called the single largest financial contribution to eliminate the nationwide backlog that has left so many rape survivors waiting for years, even decades for answers giving them now a sense
