delay the release of "the interview" over threats of terrorist attacks sony announced on tuesday it was pulling the movie from the planned christmas opening. the company released a statement saying it shared the theater owners' paramount interest in theaters and sony pictures has been a victim of assault against our employees, customers and our business. we stand by our film makers' right -- by film makers and their right to freedom of expression. variety reports say sony is contemplating the movie on premium on demand, although now sony says they are not doing that. meanwhile, human activists are planning to air drop copies of thedvd using hydrogen balloons. they were sneaking movies in in an attempt to expose them to the outside world. i want to go to you first. this is how i look at this. it sucks that movie got pulled from theaters, obviously.

movie and none of the theaters want to show it, does a bear [bleep] in the woods? i understand what your first question was. you can't blame the business owners for doing the proper business decision here. we would lake to say we will stnd up to terrorism and -- stand up to terrorism and threats like this, but the reality is they have a responsibility. it is not clear that this is not a credible threat. it may just be these guys blowing smoke and getting the result they like now. until it is proven, the responsible thing is to pull the movie. and sony will make a ton of money off this movie. >> you think it will be released at some point? >> absolutely. and the notoriety will give it legs. >> is it a good news-bad news situation? the bad news is the terrorists have won, but the good news is there are two hours less of james franco on the big screen?

once again, limp bizkit was snubbed. they announced the hall of fame inductees and the list was listee. it included lou reid, stevey ray vaughn, joan jet and the black harts, bill withers and the paul butterfield blues ban. paul simon will be the third best beatle after tango and cash. it will be held next april and it involves many of the artists jamming together. who can forget this performance?

are teens getting clean? the national institute on drug abuse finds rates of drug abuse have dropped significantly since last year. i guess no one wants to be cool anymore. students in grades 8, 10, 12 reported less drinking, less smoking and less huffing glue. alcohol consumption fell off for all age groups. that number would have been better, but, joanne. and daily cigarette smoking is half of what it was. and pot use also dropped despite its legalization in several states. what is wrong with kids today? >> i know it looks like they are not doing as many drugs, they are. they happen to be prescribed to their grand parents. they are still getting a lot -- we are medicating kids for everything. when my daughter first came home from the hospital she cried and slept and cried and slept and cried and slept. we got her on anti-depress --

should her hound join her in the ground? a dead woman's will request that a dog be buried with her even though the pet is still alive. on tuesday a 9-year-old german shepherd was going to be put down for burial. this is apparently technically legal, but public outrage may have saved the pup. the woman's estate is looking into options like sending him to a no kill animal sanctuary. the final decision is granted to the executor of the will.
