tomorrow the day before christmas looks to be the worst travel days across the country. coming up we have a storm system intensifying. expect to see a lot of rain windy conditions across portions of the east coast and thunderstorms. you mentioned the severe weather that will be a big concern through out the day today along the gulf coast. that includes the florida panhandle alabama, mississippi. we are watching out for the fires and storms to fire up. it is busy out there this morning. we have one area of pressure across the portions of the northern plains. back tiside of the system acros nebraska and energy spinning into the rockies that will help put all of them to the with the storm system bringing weather tomorrow through all of that. eventually just in time for christmas day you are looking at quieter weather across portions of the northeast out there.

portions of the high plains. potentially 60 miles per hour. you saw images from colorado that is moving across from texas with early of rain out there. we will see the risk for severe storms across the east coast. the louisiana, mississippi, alabama also into the parts of the florida panhandle. in the northeast the stormy weather. there are a number of advisories out there across interior portions of the northeast. all of that comes together. take a look at the weather forecast for tomorrow. we are lacking at a strong area of low pressure across the great lakes. a lot of heavy rain locally up to 6-8 inches of rainfall possible across portions of the southeast and strong winds. heather and leah travel coming
