well, welcome back to the five's christmas special. along with food, family and football, on this holiday, many of you are also taking in some film. well, lots of great options at the box office this christmas season. he with are going to tell you now which ones that we are planning to see. obviously, i have a little munchkin at home. i was thinking it might be nice to take in "the night at the museum" which i love the national history museum in new york city. this will be kind of cool to see tichlts the second one they have released. if you have kids at home, i give it my strong pick and recommendation. what about dana? >> i actually really love those movies too, "night at the me

i'm doug mckellway in washington. making headlines, a lab technician at the cdc is being monitored for possible exposure to ebola. the cdc reports a mix-up in samples being transferred between lab torres. the cdc director says he is troubled and that no staff risk is acceptable. it has been a peaceful day so far in berkley, missouri, after two nights of protests of an african-american man by a white suspect. authorities say the suspect pulled a gun on the officer. many people are spending their holidays seeing "the interview" which was initially dropped by sony after tlelthreaf violence former president h.w. bush is said to be doing well in washington. he was taken into the hospital after shortness of breath. now, back to the five christmas special.

tonight around the dinner table, here's something you can discuss, if you've got younger relatives or tonight around the dinner, here is something you can discuss. advice you would give to your youngerselves. now that we are older, if you were to tell yourself something way back when, greg, what would you tell yourself? any advice? >> don't sleep with that girl in the parking lot. there is always this idea that you are going to regret over not participating in some kind of behavior that will haunt you the rest of your life if you didn't take that risk. it is actually the opposite.

younger self in your son. any advice that you give him that you wish you had had yourself. >> that i wish i had had. i think the obvious stuff we have talked about here a bunch of times. you don't want to quit or let someone tell you know. you want to keep trying. you can also -- someone told me this a long time ago. i was a young kid working for mobile oil at the time. just finished and blew my shoulder out in baseball. i said, who is your boss. he said, take that guy for a cup of coffee or take him to lunch sometime and i did it. it was not on easy thing to do. the guy respected the fact that i just wanted to learn. i wasn't trying to leapfrog overboard. i was trying to become as successful as he was. it was really a great thing.
