are taking a hard firm stance against the fight against isis. a pro-government newspaper says there should be no truce no forgiveness of isis. the government will retaliate and be strong. but in addition to executing these two individuals. including sajida al-rihawi there is no word on what jordan will do. jordan inside the country there always lot of concern about getting drawn into a larger regional war. that doesn't only apply for jordan but a lot of other countries. they have stopped for about a month now on flights over isis.

bill: what more are we learn being the video today? >> reporter: jordanian officials said they believe this was in fact the execution of mu'ath al-kasaesbeh. they say it happened january 3 a month ago in large part because jordanian officials believed he was dead. they were testing isis when they were talking about a swap to see if they could get any evidence. they were holding out hope he was alive. the video was very sophisticated. it had been produced ear offing a long period time. there were a lot of edits. it was a sophisticated video. jordanians were convinced he was killed a long time ago but they hoped they were wrong. they suspected he was killed

who is willing to give it to them. bill: people say it's a game change, they said that before. is it? >> i would like to think so after the horrific video coming out of the jordanian pilot. but i think we need to be more pragmatic. as a result of what we have seen and as a result of the brutal slaying of this pilot everybody's emotions are up. they executed two individuals. but the reality on ought ground in jordan is a lot moral difficult. -- is a lot more difficult. they have been brutalizing arabs for years. first al qaeda now the islamic state. the woman executed blew up a wedding in amman in 2005.

that angered them as have thousands of others being killed in marketplaces in baghdad and afghanistan and the middle east including jordan. but it never resulted in this game changer that we are talking about. it hasn't happened. frankly, jordan -- king abdullah can't do it without our leadership. it's not going to happen no matter what his will may be. bill: the president said during the state of the union that we'll not chase headlines. this what is said yesterday in the oval office. >> i don't know the details of the confirmations but should this video can authentic d it's one more indication of the

retroactive refund. it's for the money they earned while working illegally and it's for returns they filed during those years. byron, it's good to have you here. what's your take. what does this add up to to you? >> november 20, the president announces his executive action on immigration. he says if you are willing to pay your fair share of taxes you can come out of the shadows and get right with the law. anage listener would hear that and think the illegal immigrants would pay taxes. but in fact the president meant they would be eligible for the earned income tax credit which is a government grant to work families up to $5,000 a year. it's essentially what is called a refundable tax credit but it's a government grant.

what we learned yesterday is that there are illegal immigrants affected by the president's edict will not only be eligible for those tax credits going forward but three years retroactively. they will be able to collect quite a bit of money from the treasury. martha: there are two evenings to -- there aretwo edges to this story. they have been paying taxes but not receiving the benefits that regular taxpayers receive is that right? >> that is right. the irs for a good while issued taxpayer identification numbers to people here in the united states illegally but are work. so they are paying taxes. there has been a long debate over whether these people should be eligible for government benefits. if you go back to the passage of obamacare, one of the arguments

the president and democrats made in favor. passing obama care was they promised that illegal immigrants would not be eligible for subsidies under obamacare. they are not right now. so the question of what government benefits if any illegal immigrants should be eligible for has been a hot question for a while. now under the president's edict they are eligible for the earned income tax credit and something called additional child tax credit going back for three years. bill: in a few moment we'll take you up to washington. something big happens. jut they are on the offensive. both isis in syria and iraq and iran across the region. martha: it sound like you are saying it won't being with militarily it won't be. >> it is a turning point for jordan. it will take time. it may take them a few months. it will take them two years for us to have a change of policy here. martha: the burning of this pilot is significant in the muslim religion because they do not believe in cremation. that is one of the sort of base details that makes this so many worse in so many ways. >> in hundreds of years we have seen cal face the way before isis, the burning thing was against the law. there were some burnings but this is against the law.

two al-qaeda prisoners have been executed in jordan before dawn. this is them leaving after the execution by hanging. one of them was alleged to be a senior member in iraq and a former top aid to the group's leader who was killed by u.s. forces. the female suicide bomber was part of the 206 plot that killed 60 at a jordanian hotel. her vest failed to go off and she was captured. this is the person they said they will swap for the two japanese pilots. isis played the 22 minute ofvideo of the man being alived on strong hold projectors with some of the crowd chanting god is great. analyst who reviewed this
