finals, tonight. we will go over the results tomorrow and go behind the scenes of that clip and more. tune in. and follow me on facebook/thekellyfile. see you tomorrow night at 9:00. jews are gunned down in copenhagen and coptic christians beheaded by isis in libya. how can these evil monsters be destroyed? >> we've got to kill this enemy on his 5 yard line. >> our military analysts are here to educate the president. and a "hannity" exclusive from syria. >> i'm not going back until the fight is finish and isis has been crippled. >> reporter: army on the ground taking the fight to isis. plus, new developments on bill clinton's shady relationship with a billionaire convicted sex offender. how the "new york times" liberal writer maureen dowd is reporting
7:01 pm
on this disturbing relationship. >> i got a fever and the only description is more -- >> and "saturday night live" at 40. "hannity" starts right here, right now. welcome to "hannity," the atrocities committed by isis continue to mount and this time they are targeting christians in a barbaric display of brutality. isis released a new video over the weekend showing the simultaneous beheading of 21 egyptian coptic christians on a beach in libya. this comes as the islamic terrorist group vows to take this savagery all the way to the streets of rome. standing by in washington tonight with the full report fox's own catherine herridge. catherine. >> sean, i've watched the five-minute video in its entirety and analysts say it's a watershed and believed to be the first documented mass execution by isis outside of its stronghold in syria and iraq. well, not as highly produced as recent prop began ta tapes, the video uses multiple effects as well as camera angles and what
7:02 pm
appears to be a crane for overhead shots as it showcases isis terrorists cutting off the heads of nearly two dozen christian egyptians. this man wears the same -- analysts say this is significant and meant to show coordination between isis and syria and north africa. >> all that is telling me this is now the rise of an international organized isis jihadist group. look, this is the beginning of a genocide perpetrated by the jihadist of isis. >> video references to rome are not only about targeting christianity, but meant to draw in libyans who resent italy's colonial past. and tonight italy's interior ministry is reportedly calling on nato to intervene. a week before the video was posted fox news is told that nts declared libya a safe zone the focus of today's air strikes by egypt is
7:03 pm
home to the group that attacked the libyan consulate in 2012. working with ansar al sharia in libya and set up an affiliate nearly 1,000 miles from its stronghold in syria. while there's no independent confirmation tonight libya media is reporting that more christians have been kidnapped in retaliation for egypt's air strikes. sean. >> you know, catherine, i watched the five-minute video too. and it's depravity, evil savagery. they walk these 21 guys up along the beach each followed by a terrorist. they all had their hands tied behind their back. get down on their knees and simultaneously with a knife with such evil cut off all of their heads. i mean and then they show the blood running into what they describe as the mediterranean. it's almost unbelievable that this type of event can happen. but islamic state's not islamic. we can't say radical islam in the country right now.
7:04 pm
thank you for your report. >> you're welcome. >> here for a report on the president's muted response to the release of that brutal new isis video fox's chief white house correspondent ed henry is back with us. ed. >> sean, good to see you. remember the heat the president took last summer when james foley was beheaded and just moments later the president went golfing. he spent three days golfing over president's day weekend, the commander in chief as all this was unfolding. in addition to what you just heard from catherine, don't forget this was the third yur mean capital meanwhile, copenhagen, denmark, hit with terror this weekend. on top of what we saw with paris, terror arrests in belgium just weeks ago. taking heat from john boehner simply says he does not have a plan to defeat the islamic state while thousands coalition air strikes are working. listen. >> we need a robust strategy to take on isil.
7:05 pm
no one has seen one from this white house yet. >> we've seen isis' progress blunted in iraq. we're making good progress in syria. but i don't want to overstate it because this is something that will take some time. >> now over the weekend in addition to the president's vacation his aides were putting out on twitter pictures of the president playing basketball to try and promote the health care sign-ups. they've been facing another deadline to get more people to sign up for signature health care law. meanwhile, as you were noting in terms of action, the egyptian president el sisi launched new air strikes against the islamic state in libya on top of remember what the jordanian king abdullah had done after the burning alive of that jordanian pilot. interesting because the white house did put out a written statement by josh earnest over the weekend condemning all of this terror. but it specifically did not mention christians were killed and did not mention that islamic extremists were doing the killing, sean. >> you know ed i noticed at the white house briefings with
7:06 pm
josh earnest it's been getting a bit more hostile. the administration has said self-proclaimed success in areas like libya yemen, iraq afghanistan, relations with the muslim world and add to that the russian reset, relations with china, relations with israel, the eastern bloc, poland, czech republic republic. he's claimed success in every case somalia yemen nothing working out the way they say and proclaim. >> that's why it's difficult for dennis mcdonough, his chief of staff, to be saying on that sunday to be saying this has been working when all our military analysts have been saying, yes, they're having some impacts but you're going to have to have ground troops. if they're not american ground troops they're going to have to be coalition ground troops to really defeat the islamic state. that's why you hear speaker boehner demanding a real strategy here. i think the bottom line is remember what the president said time and time again as you list all that that al qaeda was on the run.
7:07 pm
now you hear aides saying islamic state was pushed back. given the track record there is going to be a lot of skepticism, and that is what you're seeing in the white house briefing room. reporters saying show us, don't just tell us. >> one year ago it was the jayvee team. joining us with reaction fox news military analyst colonel david hunt author of foreign domestic retired brigadier general tony tata, as well as author of jesus, jihad and peace, retired navy s.e.a.l. with us. let me deal with self-proclaimed success of the administration, put up on the map, influence of iraq and syria. this hasn't been diminished. this is all new territory. the air strikes haven't worked. and look at this map for the institute for the study of war you see the expanse of radicalism in africa somalia, kenya, nigeria, al qaeda in the arabian peninsula, isis in syria and iraq, all of this. but they proclaim success in
7:08 pm
libya, yemen, somalia, iraq, afghanistan, russian reset rk you know poland czech republic. none of it is working and israel on top of it. >> sean, we have to look at this in the way the d.o.d. and administration is not looking at it. this is a multihead serpent that is moving across this region faster than we can stop it because we won't commit to the fight. and what's even worse is it's like a tree that is spreading the roots all over the globe. we're seeing effects of it, canada australia, paris. >> everybody. >> everybody's seeing this. and everybody's surprised. >> michael, you look at this barbarity that they have this stated goal. we've seen what happened in the sinjar mountains, we've seen what's happened to christians, lined up and beheaded mass killings, people being burned to death, what part of the islamic state not being radical islamist
7:09 pm
does this president not understand? why doesn't he get that? >> he is determined that he is going to be a success even when he's a failure. and that is why i plead with him to go back to cairo this time not to coddle the muslim brotherhood but to declare president el sisi has shown some guts and has shown some backbone and has shown some neutrality and therefore get him to head up the fight and take it to the enemies. he knows the enemies better than mr. obama does. >> colonel hunt el sisi may die for what he is doing including confronting imams as he did in the new year. so this president doesn't take it as seriously. why the difference? >> first of all i don't agree that the united states is not taking it serious. obama's a civil, is general and so is the king of jordan.
7:10 pm
but the united states is doing more than anybody in the world. the problem is we've got people yelling about it want us to do more all we say no boots on the ground. we got 3,000. if we really want to get at isis which now has more territory than united kingdom, it's going to take american leadership on the ground. i don't hear anybody talking about it. brits on the ground, the french, everyone else, no one's doing that. we're just saying obama sucks. okay, after we get that statement say what do we really want to do? and people seem to back away from the necessity of u.s. guys on the ground telling where it's going to work. >> general tata with the authorization, the use of force the president announced last week with such great fanfare it's probably not going to pass. he says explicitly no boots on the ground. it expires. it's got an expiration date. he already has authorization the 2002 authorization. what would it take to defeat this enemy that wants a modern day holocaust? that's willing to cut off heads
7:11 pm
and kill innocent people on a daily basis. what does it take? >> sean, you never want to put those kinds of limitations on our troops particularly if we're going to have troops on the ground even coalition troops on the ground. we have nato forces being attacked, we have coalition forces being attacked. the keyword i've heard throughout the conversation is we are responding, we are reacting, we need to be proactive. we need rolled up sleeves leadership on the ground in the arab nations pulling these arab nations together diplomatically and politically and economically. and encircle isis so we can destroy them. this is more than just a military fight. it's a political fight. it's a diplomatic fight. it's an information fight we need to leverage all of the elements of national power to defeat this enemy. and we need leadership to do that. and we need leadership on the ground in these arab nations to pull them together to show them the way. we've got them mad. they're mad.
7:12 pm
jordan's mad. egypt's mad. so this arab-on-arab peace is actually good not for coalition. we need to harness that energy and focus it to kill this enemy. >> what are you saying, colonel? last word. >> yeah. that's all well and good but the jordanian military's not going to cross 500 miles in the desert. it's going to take u.s. logistics, command and control and intelligence. >> but wait a minute -- >> won't say is 30,000. >> you've got 21 of these guys lined up and beheaded. now jordan's in the fight. egypt's in the fight. it's beyond awful. it's evil in our time. this is -- >> i think we need boots on the ground. colonel, i believe we need boots on the ground. we need more force. and we need to lead from the front on this. >> jordan and egypt when we say that they're in the fight, they're not really in the fight. you know, they're going out there and throwing some bombs down. they either need to be in the fight or get out of the way so we can lead it. period.
7:13 pm
>> guys, thank you for being with us. >> there you go. >> we first have to identify the enemy. and the enemy is radical islamist. and we need a president to recognize it and come up with a strategy without limitations but to win. if we're going to send brave men and women into iraq don't give up the territory they fight, die and bleed for. keep what we've won. it drives me nuts. all right. coming up, a u.s. army veteran he's a christian. he says the american government they're not doing enough to defeat isis. he has now joined forces with the kurdish militia. he's in syria. he's fighting isis on the ground. he's going to tell us his story coming up next. later tonight, bill clinton's friendship with convicted sex offender, pedophile jeffrey epstein is now starting to pick upstream in the mainstream media, even "new york times." and a report tonight highlights how bill's questionable past can derail hillary in 2016. and later, why is jesse jackson defending and standing up for people that cheat? the reverend jackson. we'll have the answer straight ahead.

welcome back to "hannity." now, you've heard stories of isis recruiting young men, american and european jihadists, they fly to the middle east and join them in their reign of terror. my next guest is an american and veteran who traveled to iraq to fight against isis with the kurds. he's been battling isis terrorists with the words christ is lord, enscribed on his vest. and jordan now joins me from an undisclosed location in syria. thank you, jordan, for being with us. appreciate you being here. >> it's an honor to talk to you, sir. >> okay. why don't you first tell us what you have seen. we heard about the yazidis, the persecution of christians, you saw what happened in libya with
7:17 pm
the coptic christians. tell us what you have seen and what inspired you to go fight isis? >> personally, sir, it was a few years of saying it was an iraqi problem and not doing anything about it while isis grew. when the yazidis were pushed out of sengal city and up the mountain, they beheaded hundreds of yazidi men and took their wives and sisters and children and sold them to slavery. that was a big deciding factor. but after that really tip of the iceberg was when mosul fell itself and they killed a lot of christians when they fled mosul. at that point when the government, our government said they weren't really going to do anything about it, i decided if our government wasn't going to do anything i would. >> okay. you know where you are is extraordinarily dangerous. tell us the level of engagement you've had militarily against isis where you are.
7:18 pm
>> we see -- depends on where you go. in shengal there for a month and seen contact pretty much every day. we've been running on -- i'll say northeastern syria because i don't want to go into my exact location. but we face contact about every week. i've been here since september of last year. so getting shot at is a daily basis. it's more of a world war ii style or vietnam style fight because our enemy has territory and we see contact every day. it's not like iraq and afghanistan where our enemy was hiding. they're actually trying to hold land on a daily basis and we don't have the technology that say the united states military has that we could just push our enemies away. it's a daily grind. we're taking a lot of casualties on both sides. >> yeah. let me ask you because you know about the beheadings. you know about the evil. you know about the atrocities. you know about you know, people lined up and they're all assassinated. you've seen it yourself up close
7:19 pm
and personal. you also know what happens to anybody that is taken captive by them. and you know the risks. and then you hear the president he won't say the word radical islamist. you say that inspired you if he's not going to do anything about it you feel compelled. what would you want to tell the president you're seeing that he obviously isn't getting? >> well for one, politics aside -- well i should say politics is the reason a lot of people are still dying over here. we have u.s. forces on the ground, their hands are tied. they can't do anything. even when i was in sen gal when the air supplies would come in, isis would know ahead of time they would go in houses. nato had no advanced location on where isis was hiding, so they fly in, take a look. if they weren't there they'd fly out. the only time they'd hit them is if they were actually out still fighting us in engagement. for one, politics is -- i can't understand why he isn't pushing
7:20 pm
these troops forward to help us out. besides that, these people are human beings. they just want to live in peace. >> the kurds are willing to fight. all we need to do is provide intelligence and some military support for them. and we're not doing that, are we? >> no, we're not. especially on the syrian side. the syrian kurds are extremely -- they get some support with air support but with kobani and whatnot, but other than that we're not getting anything. >> all right. well, i want you to stay safe. i think what you're doing is noble. jordan, be safe out there. thank you for joining us. >> my pleasure, sir. >> the brutal beheading of 21 coptic christians is the latest in the long line of violent propaganda of isis videos. but one person from isis we haven't seen much video of is its leader, abu al baghdadi, had several aliases is surrounded by
7:21 pm
several guards, henchmen when he does. we do know he was once in the u.s. militarytody he was a detainee in iraq in mid-2000s. here with more on the head of isis contributing writer for the atlantic, graham wood is with us. by the way i have the whole piece here. highlighted all of it. you're a great writer. this is really well done. you start out by saying, pointing out what the president has said islamic state is not islamic. a year ago he was calling it isis the jayvee team. >> he called it the jayvee team then and now i think he would really revise what he said. isis is certainly the first line of islamist violence in the middle east. >> tell us about baghdadi. this little known man uses many aliases, he now is the new bin laden we got to get. >> yeah. he's 43 years old. we know he has a ph.d. in islamic law from university in iraq. he's been the head of this organization since 2010. we don't know actually that much
7:22 pm
beyond that though because he never shows his face in public. we've seen him on video only once. and only very rarely do we get written or audio messages from him. >> tell us about you ta say the nature of the islamic state we have misunderstood it. and you make a comparison between bin laden's vision as a caliphate and baghdadi -- >> what's the difference? >> bin laden had some very political requests. he wanted very specific things that we could do with our foreign policy. baghdadi has a whole vision of the future that's laid out in apocalyptic terms. he thinks he knows exactly how the different steps along the way will go toward the end of time. that's the agenda that he's pursuing. for bin laden it was much more practical. for baa baghdadi it's cosmic. >> we have the successor to bin laden, then baghdadi in isis and coalitions building between al qaeda and isis.
7:23 pm
and then we talk about islamic jihad and hezbollah and hamas and the muslim brotherhood and now boko haram. of all of these groups, you know, they're the most fierce, isis is. are they now pulling all these other groups toward their level of radicalism and evil? >> there's definitely a race to be the standard bearer for terrorism. however the groups actually in many cases hate each other. zawahiri is not very well liked by isis. they are competing in a sense that the one that grabs the headlines, that causes the most terror, is going to be the one a lot of people is going to see as the leader of terror. >> it's amazing. our president, you have james foley beheaded, he's playing golf in 30 minutes. jordanian pilot is killed and within hours king abdullah is all over it with a fierceness and toughness. same with general el sisi with the beheading this weekend. they are fighting back with a
7:24 pm
fierceness. you also talked to anjam chaudhry, a guy i've fought with a number of times. what'd you think? >> a very intelligent individual. he's clearly fore square behind the islamic state and articulate in describing what the islamic state wants, how it believes and how he thinks this apocalyptic agenda will unfold. >> about the 12th imam for a lot of these guys? >> they believe there will be 12 imams. they think they're on seven or eight. he's a true believer, and well-known for being the most outspoken of them in the united kingdom kingdom. >> what do you think of some of my interviews, maybe not the first one which was a knockdown dragout, yes he wants sharia yes, he wants it worldwide, yes gays and lesbians should be killed, yes, women should cover, they shouldn't be able to drive. he believes in sharia wants to implement it worldwide. >> he does. he also thinks part of his role on earth is to describe what that sharia is going to be like
7:25 pm
for everyone else. so he loves having a platform anywhere including your show. >> graeme wood the atlantic appreciate it. >> thank you. maureen dowd, believe it or not "new york times," he mentions bill's friendship with convicted pedophile jeffrey epstein. speaking of 2016 weekly standard steve hayes handicaps the gop field. he's here with more to explain. you know... ...there's a more enjoyable way to get your fiber. try phillips fiber good gummies. they're delicious... and a good source of fiber to help support regularity. mmmm these are good! the tasty side of fiber. from phillips. doers they don't worry if something's possible. they just do it. at sears optical, we're committed to bringing them eyewear that works as hard as they do. right now, buy one pair and get another free.

york post" article entitled bill's libido threatens to derail hillary again. detailing the entanglement in a brand new lawsuit when he wrote "epstein pleaded the fifth amendment when asked about his relationship with clinton and whether clinton was supplied with underage girls." now, this new lawsuit may compel the former president to testify under oath about what he was doing there meaning at -- here with reaction is the man who wrote that article, long-time republican strategist "new york times" best-selling author roger stone. and "washington examiner" rebecca burg back with us. you highlighted this is far from over, which was myin stipgt from the beginning. why is he hanging out with a convicted pedophile? and it goes deeper in terms of other relationships. and you're saying this case because he got a slap on the wrist meaning epstein there's a lot more to come here. explain, roger. >> well, because there is now a credible lawsuit to overturn the
7:29 pm
nonprosecution agreement in which epstein, the pedophile, got a slap on the wrist that the adult women who were procuring underage girls for him got immunity. and the v.i.p.s, some very big names he was trafficking underage children to for sexual purposes got immunity. so if this is overturned, bill clinton, among others, could be compelled to answer under oath what he was doing on epstein's plane 17 times, what he was doing on epstein's heedenistic private island multiple times in the company not of hillary clinton but of a number of underage girls. i think bill clinton's got a lot of answering to do. and i think the courts may compel him to answer those questions. >> why did they seal this and prevent the families -- because this was brought to the attention of authorities because a 14-year-old girl was with epstein. why did they -- why do the prosecutors do that and protect him? >> we don't know the answer.
7:30 pm
it's not just the state prosecutors that gave him a slap on the wrist. that deal was essentially rubber stamped by the federal prosecutors. sean, some of epstein's victims were as young as 11 years old. the average is more like 14. this isn't consensual sex. this is pedophilia. why would bill clinton be friends with someone like this? and what did epstein's victim who's filed this lawsuit mean when she was told by epstein bill clinton owes me a few favors? what did she mean by that? what did epstein mean by that? >> i think people deserve answers considering the significance and seriousness of this. and what this one woman is telling us actually went on at that island. i think we deserve answers. rebecca, how significant is it that bill -- that epstein pled the fifth when asked about clinton and the nature of their relationship? >> well, it's significant sean. and it's not entirely surprising because as a friend of bill clinton, epstein certainly
7:31 pm
understands the politics of this understands what a sticky situation bill clinton could find himself in at the worst possible time politically as hillary clinton is gearing up for a presidential campaign and eventually running for president again. so of course he would want to try to keep his friend bill clinton out of the spotlight. especially when you consider clinton's past sexual scandals. this at the very least is going to remind people of those. >> so the guy involved with jennifer flowers, paula jones, kathleen willie monica lewinsky lewinsky. we're supposed to believe he's hanging out with a guy notorious in terms of women and has this conviction and it was just innocent? >> that's what they will want us to believe, absolutely. >> all right, guys, thank you both. we will follow the story. a lot of people ignoring it. but it's too big a story. we need answers. hillary's in hiding. thank you, guys.

will likely be the field. steven, good to see you. >> hey, sean. >> who do you think -- i know person by person but who do you think has the best shot and why? >> i mean if i had to put my money on right now i would probably split my money evenly on marco rubio and scott walker for fairly simple explanations. i think marco rubio is the best communicator in the republican party, maybe the best communicator in american politics today. and when people get to see him up close making those arguments, i think he'll likely be persuasive and appealing to a lot of voters in a republican primary. scott walker can make a very simple argument. i've done it. and it worked. i've governed as a conservative. i wiped out a $3.6 billion deficit, i took on the unions and democrats and i won. those are pretty simple reasons why they would be very competitive candidates. >> what about perry and cruz? the texas connection. >> i think ted cruz is

underestimated. i think by a lot of people right now. he's positioned himself very well as a guy in washington who's taking on washington, both republicans and democrats. leadership of both parties. i think that's going to be appealing to a lot of people in the republican primary. a lot of conservative republican primary voters, tea party types with some libertarians some very conservative voters are going to like ted cruz and vote for him for that reason. rick perry has a different challenge. he's got to re-introduce himself to people who might have shrugged him off because of his poor performance last time. and, you know you'd probably do this as well as i do, you speak to conservatives around the country, you mention rick perry's name in a speech or in a conversation and the first thing people say is, oops or they laugh. >> yeah, but you know what -- >> big hurdle for rick perry to overcome. >> the texas story is the most compelling in the country. >> great story. >> so you got governors pence, christie kasik jindal.
