federal judge has locked the program on the eve of its launch. the president says there will be an appeal but for now he must abide by the judge's ruling. plans by tens of thousands of immigrants who hope to apply for work permits and deportation stays have been put on hold. attorneys for eddie routh will present their defense in a texas courtroom. prosecutors finished presenting their case. roug -- routh's lawyers are launching an insanity defense. i'm jackie, ibanez. "hannity" starts now. the terminology has little or no impact on what we have to do. >> eric holder calls out fox news over the term radical islam. >> if fox didn't talk about this they wouldn't have nothing else to talk about. >> more stunning naive comments

about the obama administration about combating isis. >> we cannot win this war by killing them. >> killing won't work but this will? >> we need to go after the root causes that leads people to join these groups. whether it's lack of opportunity for jobs. >> and a story tonight you'll only see on "hannity" -- >> the great thing about not being president anymore ska whatever you want. >> new developments on bill clinton's connection to the billionaire pedophile jeffrey epstein. >> unless your wife might run for something, then you can run for anything you want as long as it doesn't make a headline. >> could the former president be called to testify. geraldo rivera. >> geraldo and the donald will be right here. >> it's a tough one. we'll see what happens. >> "hannity" starts right here, right now. welcome to "hannity." the obama administration strikes again. >> we spend more time, more time talking about what do you call it, as opposed to what do you do

about it. really? if fox didn't talk about this, they'd have nothing else to talk about. >> that's not all last night the state department spokeswoman said this about isis. >> we're killing a lot of them. and we're going to keep killing more of them. so are the egyptians, and the jordanians jordanians. but we cannot kill our way out of this war. we need in the longer term medium and longer term to go after the root causes, whether it's lack of opportunity for jobs. we can work with countries around the world to help improve their govern nance. we can help them build their economy so they can have job opportunities for these people. >> stimulus shovel-ready jobs program for terrorists, that will stop it. the white house needs a reality check, because tonight there are new reports that isis has now executed 45 people in iraq, burning them all alive. standing by in washington with much more, katherine we have
10:03 pm
copenhagen, 21 christians beheaded, now 45 iraqis burned to death. >> the report was first carried by the bbc. here in washington there was no immediate response from the u.s. government officials. we know the iraqis have been under siege by isis for months until it fell last thursday. the pentagon confirmed heavy fighting in the area. the police chief in al baghdadi said targeted members of the security forces there, and a second news organization al jazeera said charred bodies as many as 30 have been recovered. while fox news is seeking independent confirmation. it's five miles from the air base where 320 marines are stationed as trainers for the iraqi military. a former intelligence officer who has worked there said they could see the town of al baghdadi from the base gates. a military analyst with contacts on the ground said the u.s. does
10:04 pm
have satellite and drone surveillance in the area and would know almost in realtime whether the mass execution took place. >> because al baghdadi is within essentially five miles of one of the most active training locations we currently have in iraq, there's no doubt that we have persistent surveillance. that is to say, 24/7 surveillance on this location. the u.s. intelligence community will know very rapidly what happened there. >> tonight a new four-minute video linked to the islamic state appears to show kurdish prisoners paraded through the streets in kirkuk, iraq. the prisoner convoy with the orange jump suits and iron cages is a carbon of the circumstances surrounding the jordanian pilot who was burned to death and this clearly shows a pattern, sean. >> katherine in washington tonight, thank you. with all of these disturbing developments of rise of radical islam, the obama administration wants you to know that they're taking terrorism very seriously. how? they're hosting a three-day-long
10:05 pm
conference on quote countering violent extremism. the post reported it's a three-day summit on violent extremism and social media. but the administration will not focus on islamic extremism. won't even mention the term. >> reporter: that's right. they said that again and again. and they pushed back by saying intelligence report e look, they're terrorists. whether they're islamic or not. we're just going to call them terrorists. so you've heard eric holder, the attorney general general, they're not going to give in on that point. interesting, because the president officially today unveiled ash carter. they brought in report irs so the president can again repeat that he's going to defeat isis. interesting, because as the summit kicked off, vice president joe biden gave remarks there. he talked about what marie harv was talking about. you can't have the u.s. military defeat isis, you need other tools. that's why she was talking on msnbc about maybe give them
10:06 pm
jobs, give people more hope. that won a lot of ridicule today. but she noted on twitter that george w. bush, the former republican president, had said that fighting poverty could also help defeat terror. though retired general jack keene told us today look, those tools are helpful but they'll only go so far to beat terrorism. >> making sure we're dismantling isil and not only stabilizing the situation in iraq, but addressing the foreign fighter issue and countering the narrative of violent extremism that has been turbo charged through the internet. >> you have the ideology stop the finance, and get at the root causes of political reform, social injustice. that is true. but in front of us is isis who is marauding over iraq and

syria, not libya. the only way to stop them is to kill and capture. >> in those comments in the oval office, the president did not specifically mention those christians who were killed over the weekend. remember, the white house statement that came out from josh earnest on sunday also did not mention their faith. just referred to them as egyptian citizens. interesting, because today pope francis for the second straight day called those christians who were killed martyrs. he said specifically their throats were slit. just because of their faith. >> it is interesting they didn't identify them as christians, and they were killed for their faith, and only for their faith. is it coming up in any of the briefings, ed the comments of eric holder suggesting blaming fox news and this whole idea that they won't just say the words radical islamic terrorism? >> reporter: well, there was no briefing today. josh earnest didn't have it because there was a little snowstorm here in washington. you can guarantee tomorrow when there's a briefing that's going to come up. something else that's
10:08 pm
interesting is that in contrast to the statement that did not mention christians being killed we went back and looked, and the president himself put out a written statement last week about the three muslim students who were tragically killed at the university of north carolina. and in that statement, the president said, nobody should be targeted because of their faith. so in that statement, they did inject faith. even though we don't have all the facts yet. >> the interesting thing is many reports said that that killing tragically as you point out took place over a parking spot. it might not have been a hate crime. >> reporter: we don't know yet. you're right. >> ed henry at the white house tonight. thank you, sir. joining me strategic analyst colonel ralph peters. among all the stupid things i think i have heard about radical islam, the state department jobs program has to be ranked the highest among them. that's their mentality, colonel. maybe we should give people free housing, terrorists housing and maybe we should give them

more about islamic terror. sean, it underscores the one thing the obama administration and the putin regime have in common, they hate a free media, because it challenges them. and i'm sure obama sometimes wishes he had putin's authority. now, consider the identification yo si, the sheer idiocy of what president obama said. terminology doesn't matter. if terminology doesn't matter why not call them islamist terrorists. this is kindergarten marxism. >> this is the equivalent to me of genocidealgenocidal, a movement similar to nazism in terms of its fer vensy, et cetera. reverend franklin graham put out a statement and talked about, imagine the outcry, because he talked about the message that was given prior to the beheading of these 21 people. that was yesterday. 45 iraqis were burned today. reported by the bbc, and
