groups. whether it's lack of opportunity for jobs -- >> last night harf doubled down on the stupidity all while insulting the intelligence of her critics. >> counterterrorism extremism takes on a variety of ways to do that here. part of it is military. but, look, if we look around the world and say longer term we cannot kill every terrorist around the world, nor should we try. look, it might be too nuanced argument for some. like i've seen over the past 24 the commentary -- >> too nuanced. we're too dumb to understand. the state department spokeswoman went out of her way to take a shot at christians, perhaps the strategy to deflect criticism away from the real threat. it's called radical islam. >> this is not just a threat in one place. if you look at the lord's resistance army and joseph -- i don't remember people talking about that as much anymore, but that's a christian militant group. there are a lot of different extremist threats we face. and there are different tools we have to go after each one of

them. >> and meanwhile earlier today president obama echoed harf's nuanced understanding of the extremist threat that we face in the united states. is what he said. >> we all know there is no one profile of a violent extremist or terrorist. there's no way to predict who will become radicalized. around the world and here in the united states inexcusable acts of violence have been committed against people of different faiths by people of different faiths. >> here we go again. obama's comments come on the same day that we learn that isis is now harvesting organs of the people that they're slaughtering and selling women and children into slavery in order to fund their radical extremist campaign. here to respond former democratic congressman, fox news contributor dennis kassinich. i assume you agree with me that a jobs program is not the answer against radical islamists.

>> it's important to understand who isis is and what it represents. it represents a throwback to a medieval philosophy, and a depiction of islam which has an apocalyptic view and which is not really ready to reconcile with the 21st century. having said that sean it's very dangerous for the united states to enter into a frontal conflict with isis. because they actually want to draw us in so they can get more recruits and prove the point about why they should be leading the effort against the west and new crusade. >> but they are burning innocent people firing squads killing innocent people, mass graves of innocent people. beheadings -- did you see the beheading video? i saw it. all five minutes, 21 people did you watch that, congressman? >> i watched it.

and i will tell you this all of what you describe is horrific. but you have to remember that both al qaeda and isis have grown as a result of u.s. interventions. we've got to be really smart -- >> you're blaming -- wait a minute congressman. i can't let that go unchallenged. you're blaming the united states, you're ignoring the embassy bombings in kenya and tanzania? >> of course not. >> the u.s.s. cole, iranian hostage crisis, trade center bombing all happening prior to war in iraq and afghanistan. and 9/11 commission report concluded they were at war with us, we weren't at war with them. we declared war after all of these events happened. they've been at war with us since 1979. and this is the first time that we ever fought back. and you're blaming us. why? why would you blame the united states? >> no. sean, i reject that characterization. and here's what i'm saying in case you didn't understand when i said it the first time. what i'm saying is that the united states has to be very

careful. we got sucked into iraq, a nation that had nothing to do with 9/11. we destabilized iraq and gave an opening for al qaeda and later isis. >> no, we actually got sucked into war -- that's not true. >> my god, sean, please. >> president obama pulled out when george bush warned if we pull out too early we're going to have a more radical enemy. and low and behold mosul, fallujah tikrit and all these other cities that our men had won were taken over because we didn't provide the intelligence and the training that we should have provided like we did after world war ii. >> sean, you and i honor the service of our men and women. >> absolutely. >> i will tell you something. the whole thing in iraq was based on lies. i'm sorry, you and i disagree on that. same for isis and al qaeda. >> lies -- i got to run. i have one last question. do you really believe a jobs program -- >> oh, no. >> we can't even create jobs for americans. do you think a jobs program -- >> i agree with you on that.

of palestinian authority. remember all the hijackings and sky jackings and the munich olympics? 1972, sean. that's an age ago. mid-1980s. between munich and when they started hitting the embassies in africa over 110 islamic terrorist attacks and killings many of them of americans some of them ordered by arafat some ordered by other people in the movement. then we had the embassy bombings in the late 1990s. then we had the u.s.s. cole and we didn't respond to it. >> first trade center bombing. >> you can read dershowitz book on this best book dershowitz wrote. first four chapters. what we did for 30 years is encourage them to come and kill us. and we would do nothing about it. we created the atmosphere. we reinforced the people that

did the munich olympics released by the german government. the people did the -- released by the italian government. the european governments were cowardly. they were afraid they were going to be attacked by terrorists. and we created this movement. this movement was alive, well and gigantic when it declared war on us and hit us on september 11th when president bush struck back that is the first time we drove them back. >> and that was the 9/11 commission report's conclusion. they had been at war with us. now we have administration they won't even use the term radical -- >> it is a tragedy and it is extremely dangerous. for two reasons. for military reasons which have been explained by general keane and so many others many, many times. this ideological reasons it's even more dangerous. if reagan will fight the battle of ideas to them we have to explain their ideas. we can't pretend that these ideas don't exist. how are we going to win the battle of ideas --

>> dennis says they're not going to hit us again. can he say that with certainty? >> wait a second. since 9/11 they've killed us in london they've killed us at ft. hood. they've attempted to kill us on airplanes. we've had the attack in paris. we've had the attack in denmark. we've had at least -- >> coptic christians beheaded. >> coptic christians killed just because they're christians, or the president who can't stand up and say these people were killed just because they were christian. >> three days this week the president is holding a summit okay? and a violent extremist summit where you can't mention radical islam. at the summit is the muslim public affairs council tweeted a picture showing salam he's quoted in "new york times" after 9/11 saying if we're going to look at suspects we should look to the groups that benefit the most from these kinds of incidents. and i think we should put the state of israel on the suspect list.

why is this man at this event? and why can't -- if it's going to be about extremism, why is radical islamic extremism off the table? >> because this was an absurd conference. should have been on "saturday night live." should have been. would you like to discuss extremist terrorism in the world today? yes. 95% to 99% of the discussion has to be about islamic extremist terrorism. sure there are other small little groups, but the one that's dominating, the one that's chopping heads off, the one that's killing jews because they're jews and christians because they're christians are these islamic extremists. >> and they're saying they needs a jobs program. >> right. and whiend all this -- >> what give them a job as fireman? policeman? >> i don't know, go for a job interview what have you done in the past, i chop people's heads off. this guy could be a butcher i guess.

of that, hearing that? >> we don't even have the infrastructure for jobs out here. where are you going to go to job when everybody's trying to kill you all the time? we've had games in kobani otherwise it's been stagnant. we could use more support on the ground here especially on the syrian side. as i've said before even iraq has been tied up. u.s. forces aren't even allowed to do their job to the full extent in iraq. so we've had a lot of frustration with it. >> last question tell us what you have seen with your own eyes there in terms of what the terrorists have done. >> i've seen beheaded bodies just tons of families -- displaced refugees. one camp right outside here -- otherwise it's mostly fighting unless they're running or

in the video were very surprised and very like, you know, why is this jew walking in our territory. and kind of one of the senses i came back to israel with was this kid who was with his mother, a muslim family. and, you know, he was very innocent kid just thinking to himself, you know jews don't come to this area. and he sees this guy wearing -- on his head. and then he's like you know, telling his mother they're going to kill . >> by the way, so this was an undercover video. a guy was walking in front of you. the camera was hidden inside a backpack. >> right. i've been called silent walking, it started in new york just this summer where a woman was walking the streets of new york and she got different sexist remarks from people on the street with a hidden camera. so the same idea here walking through new york. i did not answer anybody. i walk silently walk through the streets.

rate raising ethical questions as hillary now ramps up her expected bid for the presidency. joining me now author, columnist, anne coulter, between that and orgy island, they've got problems. >> ethical questions with the clintons? shocking. no, her main problem seems to me besides the whole everything about the clintons is that she's not a very likable person. she was the odds on favorite last time. and, oops democrats ran off with a new trophy wife barack obama. i think what is more important for a republican victory is whom the republicans choose. >> who would you like them to choose? >> not jeb bush along with most voters. i hope the wall street crowd doesn't watch your show because, boy, they're going to be wasting a lot of money on jeb bush. >> you don't think he'll win? >> he is polling below donald trump in new hampshire. usually this far out the polls don't mean that much because it's just a matter of name recognition. in fact a few years ago i went through my column where people

were polling 18 months before the election. and it was all names that were never even in the top ten because what was it? name recognition. i don't think you can argue that jeb bush does not have name recognition. so the fact he's polling, he has higher unfavorables and far more than hillary clinton in new hampshire his unfavorables are about 50% his favorables in the 30s. hillary, again, not a likable person, but -- >> who do you like? >> also the case only 7% of americans and this has been true going back to 2006 when the last bush, thus the name recognition tried to force amnesty on the country. americans keep telling pollsters they don't want amnesty. they voted out eric canter as i wrote in my column this week. what do we have to do to convince politicians we don't want amnesty? make it a host on "the view"? we can't get them to do what they said they were going to do. as i said in my column every one of these guys including mitch mcconnell and all the establishment republicans, even lamar alexander said vote for us

welcome back to "hannity." so he has not officially announced his candidacy yet, but former florida governor jeb bush sounds like he's running. he gave a speech on foreign policy where he tried to shake off skepticism about the possibility of another bush in the white house. here's what he said. >> just for the record, one more time, i love my brother i love my dad. i actually love my mother as well. i hope that's okay. and i admire their service to the nation and the difficult decisions that they had to make. but i'm my own man. and my views are shaped by my own thinking and my own experiences. >> here now with reaction the architect one and only karl rove. as we look at the 2016 field, i actually think that answers that question very well. because a lot of people -- you know, he has to say he's his own man, right? >> yeah. well, and he is.

just his brother was different than his father and his father was different from his father who was a united states senator from connecticut. so he will have to prove this though over the course of the campaign. the media will want him to do it one way and he ought to do it the other way. the way the media will want him to do it is by being critical of his father or brother. but he ought to do it by explaining what he would do. >> it's inevitable that he's going to be asked what do you think of your brother's decision on the iraq war. how would you answer that? >> well he's already said that the mistakes were made. he talked about wmd and so forth. but again, he's put most of the emphasis on not trying to be the critic of his brother but instead focusing on the future. and i think that's wise advice. you know, we learn more about people by what they say they want to do and by the values that they exhibit than we do about them being critical of

things that other people do. >> the two issues that keep coming up -- actually i'll bring up three. immigration, common core and report this week that among donors in private he claims to be a moderate but then publicly says he's more conservative. which of those three are going to be problematic if any for him? >> well, i think common core is an issue that he's going to deal with. he believes in high standards. my sense is he believes that states ought to be in charge -- i know he believes states ought to be in charge of standards. my sense is if you don't like common core, which was developed by bill bennett, and others, then you ought to have high standards. but he bel to have schools within their states that set high standards and that test children to make certain that they're learning what we expect them to learn so we can hold teachers and schools accountable for failure. i know the teacher unions hate to have their kids tested and hate to have standards because

they can be like lake will be gone, everybody's average if you don't test and don't have standards. if you don't know what you're trying to teach children and you don't test them then you can get away with the kinds of crimes we've seen them get away with in our major cities where kids graduate unable to read unable to add and unable to advance in their lives. >> we've got governors former governors, rick perry, maybe kasich, scott walker looks more like he's going to run senators cruz -- >> bobby jindal. >> another one. good point. senators cruz, rand paul, marco rubio. and former senators like rick santorum former governor mike huckabee. these are all powerful men and some in very pivotal states. who do you think, you know coming out of the gate scott walker looks good on paper. seems to be polling pretty well. marco rubio seems to have been coming up. rand paul had some good numbers early on. ted cruz is just getting started. who do you think -- you guess
