win to make a comment about race relations in america. we have andrea tantaros and jessica talk about the most talked about moments. and a somali terror group with links to al qaeda issues a chilling warning we've got to pay attention to. >> i'm not telling people to not go to the mall. i think there needs to be an awareness. >> "hannity" starts right here right now. welcome to" hannity." the controversy surrounding former mayor rudy giuliani tonight surrounding comments he made involving president obama's love of his country. entitled my bluntness overshadowed my message. he wrote "my intended focus really was the effect his words and his actions have on the morale, the effect on the country." chief ed henry, they're not
7:02 pm
liking this very much are they? >> no. they first try today ridicule mayor giuliani but saying he tried this out in the 2008 presidential campaign. then you remember josh earnest on friday saying we feel more sorry for him. he's lost his standing. now i think what you see with that op-ed from rudy giuliani is he's trying to get this off the personal and more on the substantive rather than allowing the white house democrats to make it like this has become gutter politics. and i saw the same thing play out today when the governors were here, republican and democrat governors were here, bobby jindal one of them. when he was asked by reporters about this whole controversy, he said on one hand he thinks the mayor should have used different words. but then he went onto attack the president and how he's handling the threat from isis saying at one point bobby jindal said the president has disqualified himself as commander in chief by, a, not calling out islamic terror, and, b, taking ground
7:03 pm
troops initially off the table to actually fight that threat. so what you see there is some republicans like bobby jindal saying rather than making this personal about the president, they want to make it about pollty. >> what's interesting to me, and maybe i can get your perspective on this, it seems to open old wounds about the president's radical associations reverend wright, 20 years, he was like family to me. the speeches, sitting on boards with bill ayers or father flager. and then dovetails into the fact he can't say radical islam. and then the issue of iran and this potentially could be the worst deal for our closest ally in that region. and netanyahu. >> sure. i mean, sean, the goal post on that iranian deal continue to move. first no centrifuges and then some and more and more and more. appears the white house is so eager to get a deal for the
7:04 pm
president's legacy that they might be giving in here at the end. and that's something that's going to be scrutinized very closely. again, that's on policy. i think you're right on one hand. look, the white house doesn't want to talk about any of those old issues, but on the other hand when i talk to some of the president's senior advisers they refer to this as the clown car. if presidential republican candidates want to go down this road they've seen conservatives go down before the white house believes, they may be wrong, but it could backfire. that's for the republicans to figure out. >> in light of him not saying radical islam and light of a bad iranian deal, i think it gains more legitimacy than perhaps before. ed henry at the white house. good to see you. and rudy giuliani's strong criticism of the commander in chief is nothing new. here's what he said about president obama and his policies earlier this month. >> doesn't take a genius to figure out the cause for which he was murdering. he told us. allah akbar. but the president of the united

states doesn't see the connection. just the other day he called the slaughter of those jewish people in france a random act. mr. president, wake up! come off the golf course! come back on earth! iran has probably been responsible for more american deaths than any singular terrorist group it is undisputably the largest supporter of terrorism in the world. we will never forget the american hostages that were held by the iranians. it seems to me president obama has forgotten it. i haven't forgotten it. i remember every day of it! >> here with reaction democratic strategist brian benjamin. i didn't hear one democrat criticize barack obama when he said george bush is unpatriotic. do you remember that? >> i remember that. yeah. do you know what's so crazy watch giuliani be so angry.

7:10 pm
these are bad things. i don't know why you can't admit that. we have a president who was influenced by a very radical people. this really is unprecedented. i mean you can't find individuals like this in the background of jimmy carter, of bill clinton of any of the bushes, ronald reagan this is really unusual. and it helps -- why this president is so far to the left. it doesn't mean he's a closet card carrying communist or -- >> but these were his friends. >> look at the economy right now. >> oh, come on. >> 50 million americans in poverty. >> yeah. >> let me go to this -- this is some of the things obama said that rudy was referring to. listen. >> we are five days away from fundamentally transforming the united states of america. america like every other nation has made mistakes and has its flaws. in america there's a failure to appreciate europe's leading role in the world. there have been times where

america's shown arrogance. struggle for women's equality continues in many aspects of american life. there's a long history in this country of african-americans and latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately. that's just a fact. i realize that america's critics will be quick to point out that at times we too have failed to live up to our ideals. and america has plenty of problems within its own borders. this is true. so, yes, we have our own racial and ethnic tensions. our most costly mistakes came not from our restraint but from our willingness to rush into military ventures. in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 we did some things that were wrong. we tortured some folks. we did some things that were contrary to our values. >> final comments. constant lecturing, constant apologizing for america. that's rudy's point. >> can i --

wolf threat. now all of a sudden getting them all ramped up again. and something's going to happen over there. and my biggest problem is are they effectively secure enough where they could have enough fire power if something happens that they could go in there and they could handle something happening? >> colonel coen, what is your reaction? how big a threat do you assess this to be? >> well, sean, we've had threats ever since 9/11. and i would say this fits in with the rest of them. there's no specific information about the mall of america or even other malls. i see a different story here. i see the secretary of homeland security starting to talk about these things because it's a little bit of a fear factor. remember the senate is sitting on the funding bill for the department of homeland security. and by sending a little fear factor out there, which is consistent -- threats have been consistent, fear factor puts pressure on congress the senate to pass that bill. i think that's what it's about. >> newt made a great comment the other day. they've been at war with us since 1979. cobart towers, embassy bombings,

kenya, tanzania u.s.s. cole. >> i'm glad they're saying things like this. let people keep aware there's a real threat taulgtsat all times. if we get complacent then we're going to have a problem. i don't believe the homeland security budget should have anything to do with immigration. we should not pull back on that. we should send the money where we got to send it with homeland security. with tsa and all that. by the republicans holding back on that money i think it's ridiculous. that's my feelings about that. >> all right. i like your hat by the way. >> it's to honor ronald reagan. we remember one thing, i wear this hat for one thing, to remember the last great president we had with this thing that we have in the oval office now. >> all right. thank you, sir. coming up -- thank you, colonel. major announce. right here about the 2016 presidential elections involves the "hannity" show. and new troubles over the clinton foundation accepting foreign donations. how is she going to deal with saudi arabia, oman and uae when

welcome back to "hannity." more questions continue to surround the large amount of

international donations received by the clinton foundation. and now some prominent figures on the left they're starting to turn on hillary. here's what president obama's former press secretary robert gibbs said over the weekend. >> i think there's no doubt that the appearances are awkward at best. and i think they're going to have to do something in the very short term to deal with this in a way that puts it off the table. >> all right. even the mainstream media's now openly questioning the ethics behind the clinton's dealings with money. here's what bloomberg's john hylaman had to say. listen to this. >> the idea she came out secretary of state loosened those restrictions again totally insane. i think it does go to joking to say expensive but they have throughout their political careers been obsessed and insecure about money whether it's on the political side, the thing they've feared most is always been underfinanced on the philanthropic side, their obsession with money leading them to the lincoln bedroom.
7:48 pm
this has been the hallmark of their careers. >> here now with reaction is the chairman of the rnc reince priebus. how are you, sir? >> doing all right. nice to see you too. >> let me play the american cross roads, this is now getting a lot of traction. over $2 billion raised for the foundation. millions coming from foreign governments. watch this. >> powerful interests have tried to capture washington and rig the system in their favor. the power of well-funded special interests help our democracy away from the people and toward the powerful. action is required to defend our great democracy against those who would see it perverted into one more rigged game where the rich and the powerful always win. >> that's narrated by elizabeth warren, interestingly enough. pretty powerful. we talk about uae, saudi arabia, all these countries. >> and many of them housing criminals and people that want
7:49 pm
to do bad things to americans and everyone else across the globe. look, i think what hillary is setting up is a situation where she's going to have to disclose every single foreign government that's given money to the clinton foundation. she's got over 60 companies that lobbied the state department while she was secretary of state who have since given money to the clinton foundation. >> unbelievable. >> so i would think, you know, all this talk about who's disqualified to run from the left media for every little thing that somebody says. she cannot possibly run for president of the united states without disclosing to the american people which foreign country -- >> agree with you. you called for that and it's made a lot of news. here's what i want to know. if republicans -- if mitt romney is involved in a war on women because he has womens resumes, how about the treatment of women in saudi arabia? they can't drive. they can't be seen in public without male relatives.

if you leave the muslim faith and become christian and accept jesus into your heart the penalty is death. >> and they're taking millions of dollars from these people. >> right. >> so you can ask about how the women are treated in the white house, they have serious questions that need to be answered not this silly questions that our candidates are being asked. >> well the reason is you know, the question barack obama ran for president and how many times do you think? you probably know he was asked about a unrepetent

domestic terrorist --. >> i know the answer. >> one time. . >> i think it was george stephanopoulos that asked barack obama about errors. a tweet from tommy thompson says our candidates have been asked more about barack obama's background so far than barack obama was asked in 2008. we've got isis without seemingly any sort of strat wri going on across the world and we've got hillary clinton now taking millions are from foreign governments and wants to be president of the use united states. >> every reporter wants to ask about what they think of rudy giuliani? >> this is silly. this identify we're talking about what do you think is in the cameraman's heart here?
7:52 pm
is the cameraman? >> he plays jesus in a passion play every year. he's a good guy. >> playing these silly questions about what is in someone else's heart? >> you made a announcement about debates. you changed rules a lot this year. you've decided you're not going to put candidates repeatedly in front of media media people that hate them. >> this last weekend is a good example of what happened. and especially in washington, d.c. beltway. look i don't think anyone out there thinks 23 debate circus is good for the party. especially in front of moderators like chris matthews this is about using our brains giving all of us an opportunity to vet our candidates but put them in front of people. not saying dictate moderators
7:53 pm
but have a say so people that give a darn about the future of our party actually have a voice in who our nominee is going to be. >> thanks for joining us. >> coming up next, on "hannity". >> how do you think angelinaea jolie did as rosa parks in "selma"? was it powerful? >> yes. very powerful. >> n do that is impactful?" what the cloud enables is computing to empower cancer researchers. it used to take two weeks to sequence and analyze a genome; with the microsoft cloud we can analyze 100 per day. whatever i can do to help compute a cure for cancer, that's what i'd like to do.
