i asked the state to release them. they said they will review them for release as soon as possible. >> this could be a real big problem for her in 2016. the state department e-mails, the problem with it is they don't have access to a lot of them. they're on this private server on a private hard drive. you have representative trey gowdy said they went to the state department. they're not sure they can get the documents in the first place. take a listen. >> we're going to gain access to them or do our best. we went to the state department under the assumption they would be the keeper of the record or custodian of the records. it was only last week that we discovered they can't produce all of her e-mails to us because they don't have all of her e-mails. >> there is two things that have come up late. the hillary clinton camp wanted to use this week to push back some of the stories how she might have been doing things that are unethical as secretary of state. then this story pops up in the "new york times" where it's hard to marginalize them and say they're anticlinton.

during the four years in which she was secretary of state, instead of using state department e-mail, she was using a server that she set up in her own house. what's the big deal? it means the records are no longer public or ready for archives. they're not good for historians or investigations. unless you can go to her house, look into the servers or totally believe that you're going to get all the e-mails requested from her personal account delivered to -- in this case, trey gowdy's desk. she handed over a bunch of e-mails, but she's already culled through e-mails in regards to the benghazi investigation. she had one of her assistants downstairs pull up the e-mails. if you look at her state department e-mails there's not much there on anything because she used her personal e-mails. >> 50,000 plus pages of e-mails that were released and turned over, they were selected by her staff. if she had been using a government e-mail, it would be up to the government to decide

you can see it's stretching from (arts of tennessee and mississippi, all the way up to the new york city area. and some of the totals out there could be over a foot. like i mentioned already, in parts of kentucky. we do have winter storm warnings in q#fect for parts of northern texas all the way to portions of the tristate area. in new york city we're looking at potentially four to six inches of snow. we're on the fringe of heavy snow on this system. as we head further south you will be looking at heavier totals in new jersey and the midatlantic. we have heavy snow out there. take a look at the forecast, potentially more than six inches for west virginia, virginia, maryland and other areas out there. that's in addition to what you already have on the ground. by the way, behind the storm system, we're expecting very cold temperatures. behind that, it looks like milder weather will be in store for a big chunk of the country. by next week, milders temperatures will be in place. >> a light at the end of the tunnel. good thing to point out.

the fact that they -- the administration has pointed out the fact that sanctions were not enough. we are moving forward with a nuclear program. at least they brought them, along with the other european nations and our allies to the table. do they deserve credit for that or are we sending the wrong message with that? >> this administration has resisted sanctions for the entire time that they've been in office. and so, yes, the sanctions brought the iranians to the table, and might very well have led to a much better deal had they not been relaxed so quickly. it was the administration itself that opposed increasing sanctions. and continues to impose even hinting that if the deal fails sajzs might be reapplied or increased. >> march 15th, they talk again. march 28th is the dead line for an outline. june they finish up the details

hundreds of high school students in a new mexico school walking out of the new common core testing, saying it distracts from real learning. was it an excuse not to take a test? joining us now are two albuquerque high school students who helped organize the walkout at their own school. thanks for getting up early with us here. >> good morning. >> did you realize how many students and how much support you would have with that walkout? we're talking hundreds of students walking out from the test. >> i don't think we knew quite the capacity to which there would be that many people. we thought maybe 100, 150 would come out. by the end of the day we had over 300 people. that was good to have all that support out there. it was nice to not be alone in that. >> we surprised a lot of other schools joined us. we weren't the only one. almost every other school in our district had walkouts that day. >> we had students from other schools coming to our school.

>> what do you say to people who are saying these kids are trying to get out of taking a test? >> i would say it's so much more than that. and while maybe it's possible, that's the agenda for some students, for us that wasn't the motivation at all. we feel like the tests are unnecessary and they use an excess of time, among other things. but ultimately, they're unfair to students to schools and to the teachers as well. >> why? >> why? well, i'll try to be quick about that. as far as students, the tests are very specific to a certain learning style. and it doesn't really encompass the learning styles of many different kinds of students. that leaves people out. if the curriculum is going to be switched to that, some students are going to stop coming to school and truancy is going to go up. >> the test by itself it doesn't cover everything we're learning in school. there's only a language arts and a math section. in the language arts section,

they weed out things all together. >> what's the teacher's take on this? they have to feel intimidated. it can't be fair to them. >> they do feel intimidated. because it is such a large part of their evaluation, it's half of their evaluation. and that's larger than it has been in the past. and especially since this is a new curriculum that's been implemented, at least in our schools in the past year or two, teachers are necessarily accustomed to teaching that way yet. it becomes difficult for them. what's going to happen they could start teaching to the test, that's not what we want in our schools. we want to be able to have the interesting dynamic between teachers and students. we don't want to lose that. >> if someone said to you and you're in 11 athgrade now and you have to choose between your diploma and taking this test would you walk out again? >> i would. i feel like this is an important

them. the problem is if you're a caregiver, and somebody wants to give you something, then you do it legally. you say to the person you're caring for, if you want to give me the house, do this, we need to go see a lawyer and get it done legally so you're not cast in a light as if you are a fraud when you never intended to be a fraud. when you see those things happening, names on deeds and bang accounts, that's a sign that you better be careful something is going on. >> someone grabs a power of attorney suddenly and you don't know what a fishy signature looks like. who can you contact? i was surprised to see local police departments have divisions that handle this? >> yes, they handle senior exploitation and state agencies you can call. there is all these different agencies you should look into in every state. the one thing i always find, clayton, maybe funny is not the right word -- all of a sudden the family members that disappeared when they lose their

an amazing story of lost and found. ten years in the making. get this, columbine high school student evan todd was injured in the 199 school shooting. soon after he lost a symbol of recovery, his football ring. now ten years later, a homeless vietnam veteran has returned the ring to todd, even after being offered $2,000 for it. he could have taken it. he gave it back and evan todd and that selfless veteran, bobby smith are joining us now. they are meeting for the very first time right here on "fox and friends." what an honor to have you both here. what is it like to be together

minutes i saw something shiny in the water and moved the rocks away and pulled it out. i saw the name columbine. and instantly associated this was someone's ring from the football, so i proceeded to call -- within 24 hours i called columbine high school and left a message with a coach there, a great man. >> you fell on hard times. we want to thank you for your service. this past year has been tough for you. you lost your wife and your daughter? >> yes. >> you have a daughter who is disabled and needs extra care. >> yes. >> you were offered money for this ring when you found it, $2,000. you go days without food. you were just getting out of a homeless shelter and that's when you spotted this ring. you could have taken the money. why did you decide to give it back? >> to be truthful, i -- when offered it i said to the gentleman, yes, no.
