we're psyched you are here today. let's get to it. let's look at 2016, shall we? republicans jockey for a position in a very crowded field of possible gop presidential candidates new "fox news poll" show three likely candidates pulling ahead and a newcomer among them, conning his surge among republican voters. look at this. one poll showing among voters who identify as republican more think strong leader describes wisconsin governor scott walker at plus 35 points, when you factor in differential between yeses and nos. next are florida senator marco rubio, plus 33. and then former florida governor jeb bush, at plus 18. more voters than not say honest describes rubio at plus nine walker is right behind at plus eight points and push, at plus seven. chris anderson a democratic pollster who conducts the fox poll along with a republican counterpart says this of governor walker. quote, walker is in a nice

position right now. republicans who know him overwhelmingly think he is a strong leader and there are very few in the base who hold negative opinions toward him. great news for scott walker, tucker. i think he is a fantastic guy. he bridges the gap between the base and establishment and any concerns that he is doing so well so early? >> meet record i can -- meet record rick would be the word. amazing, amazing story. pretty darn early i got to say. had in last cycle, 2012 eight front-runners, 10? i sort of lost track. my guess would be outcome whatever you think today is not what will happen a year from now at all. it is too long. republican voters want to wrap this up early. they want to coronate somebody. that would be good for the party. i doubt that will happen. >> doesn't that make you nervous i see somebody i like in the number one spot i other worry,

oh, a year from now will they be there? they can go from three to one. who frightens democrats most. >> john kasich, who is not in the race. >> why? >> if i were john kasich i think this is his chance. he represent as record that i think independents would be attracted to. he is scott walker without some of scott walker's baggage. he is not prone to gaffs scott walker has been in the past. no investigations swirling around him as they are scott walker. john kasich would be formidable candidate. scott walker is untested. tucker made a got point. >> untested? untested? he has run for election and re-election 33 times in the past four years. >> nationally he is -- >> he is indetruckable. everybody is destructible as we learn from democratic. >> he made a couple of foibles with these gotcha questions when

the media asked him about evolution. i would let him stumble a little bit now. to your point, this is somebody took on unions did it first and effectively. he has executive experience as governor. i think he could keep momentum going. >> you have a sense you can't kill him. based on what he has been through and assaults he has taken. stumbling, every time you think he is going down for the count. he sits there forges ahead. i think for republicans probably that is very attractive given how many times they are taken down in the past few elections. that is one of the qualities you can really embrace. >> harris i looked at the poll i thought good for marco rubio. did it surprise you jeb bush came in third? >> people feel they know what they know about jeb bush and getting to know everybody else. one of the things scott walker, the governor has headed to his desk some legislation put him in the battle lines, reminded. right to work status of wisconsin is going to his desk

today. republicans within the state of wisconsin, kind of helping him out in the headlines today sending that, because that sends a message. workers in that state can not be forced to pay union dues in the private sector. so he gets right back in there and gets credit for fighting for the worker and for the little guy, with that headline. then you've got senator marco rubio in the headlines along with mike lee out of utah republican out of utah. they're putting forth the tax reform bill that is again to help fight for the middle class. you have people getting them in the headlines, getting to know him. jeb bush, we haven't seen it yet but i it is coming. >> tucker, i get the impression when i look at way media treating walker they know the left is threatened by him drudging up seems teachers supposedly taught scott walker. they really want revenge on scott walker what he did. >> didn't finish appalling. went to work for the red cross. what a bad person. >> awful human being. >> i have to say, this poll is a

little bit misleading. i don't think bush is actually campaigning in the way a typical candidate does right now. i wouldn't factor him in. the bush people if you talk to him are solely focused or nearly solely focused on fund raising. first quarter comes out pretty soon. they want to blow everyone away with it. i think they will blow everyone away with it. typical back and forth you get in the primaries hasn't begun yet. i think field will look very different. >> do you i think the name hurts him? >> everything in life it's a mixed blessing. no chance he would be the winning fund-raising race if he weren't bush obviously. >> what if it were carlson? >> wouldn't get elected room mother. >> you know it. as for email controversy grow looks like some democrats are yearning for an alternative to hillary clinton. they're reportedly becoming anxious whether the former secretary of state is the best candidate for 2016. but a democratic leader in new hampshire tells "the washington post," quote,

the problem is there is nobody out there who is not clinton, who is the equivalent of barack obama. he was a fresh face and he gave great speeches and he turned out to be electable, as latest "fox news poll" show just 44% of voters describe hillary as honest. that is down 10 points from nearly a year ago. harris, i can't wait to see what the polls are after this whole email scandal because they were conducted before it. you said something that made me laugh yesterday. >> i did? >> during the break. is joe biden just warming up in the batting cage? is he sort of dropping push-ups and squat thrusts getting ready? >> doing arm curls, hey gates of hell, here i come! reason i asked a question if ever a time to get in now would be it to just test the waters. from what i'm reading this anticipation of hillary clinton not being challenged is the person who just kind of wades into the race whenever she decides whether july or april, whenever she decides to announce

we're so excited. the federal government is reporting february was a good job numbers month. american employers extend ad streak of hiring by adding nearly 300,000 jobs, the 12th straight monthly gain above 200,000 jobs. that puts the government's jobless rate at 5.5%. of course let's look at the whole number. that only counts people who were looking for work. the real unemployment number still twice as much at about 11%. dereports of an improving economy a large number of you are apparently not feeling it. a new "fox news poll" finds 43% feel like the economy is getting worse, not better. that is almost as many number of people who feel things are improving. a new survey by pew research finds more than seven in 10 americans, 72%, say the government's economic policies have done little or nothing to help the middle class or small businesses since the great recession. that's a real disconnect,

melissa. >> so i can reconcile all those things for you. basically if you want to boil down all those numbers you just heard, it says the numbers say the economy is getting better but people at feel like crab. looking at their income. it was lower than it was. why are things getting better and they're not? very simple reason. wages are lagging. jobs that come back, during the recession we have another graph, we'll show you jobs come back at high-end or low end. if you lost one of those good, there you go one of those good, solid, middle class jobs in the middle you could count on for a long period of time with a decent wage to pay your mortgage and pay for your kids college, those evaporated. we're seeing high-end coders, lots of jobs and low end, the mcdonald's jobs. that is what come back. why people don't feel good even though the government says it is getting better. >> quality of life goes down. >> right. >> julie, that is a tough one for the obama administration can talk about.

you can say there are more jobs if you have to work two or three of those newer jobs to call what you had you're exhausted and stressed out. you don't feel good. >> i don't blame people. wage growth is stagnant. >> it was two cents. >> hear from the white house? why do we not hear? >> no white house is going out there to tout bad numbers. they will only tout good numbers. >> they don't talk about at all really? >> i don't know any white house would tout bad numbers when there are good economic numbers. they will accentuate those. that is washington 101. >> i lived there, richest city in america. i never met anyone unemployed. i never met anyone who wasn't rich. that is the part of the story, geographic divide. people in the center of the country are really hurting. you never hear it. >> ask andrea in terms of a slide. not just stagnating, it is getting worse. look at this the labor participation rate. i want to break this number

down, 62.8%, okay? people who are actually working when. you look at people who currently want a job and don't have one, it is matching the all-time high number of americans not in the labor force. that means there are some more people out there who would beg to work and can't even get one of those lower paying job. >> yep. we haven't talked abou people that quit looking for work and are not factored into the number and underemployment number. people with a bachelor or masters degree working those lower paying jobs. middle class is getting squeezed. administration likes to focus on middle class but exact policies they put out i think have hurt the middle class. look at obamacare, shifting to part-time work forced so many small-time businesses and workers to find those as melissa mentioned. second jobs. third jobs. they're not able to provide for families. when the white house says we're doing great and really really

well. they get it. they know they massaged the job formula that to get the results they wanted. >> or when the white house was silent. you can cheer lead or stay sigh lant. >> you can't say massage numbers. that is five point something percentage rate lower than it was. >> they play funky math julie. not counting people that quit looking for work. not people out of work. >> really left out a huge swath -- >> any way you want either thing, the bottom line people don't feel great and trying to figure out why. another fun story though, if you thought old stereotypes about women in the work place had vanished, think again. a new study finds more than half of small business owners surveyed had heard female bosses reprofessorred as quote, bitchy emotional or bossy. only one in eight heard male employers labeled that way. when women were asked to describe themselves over 60%

used words like supportive and fair. experts say that is a good thing. one business psychologist says the fact that women business leaders associate themselves with move characteristics being supportive and organized actually highlights some of the reasons i believe we need more female business leaders as these are the key management skills that will drive success for the businesses of the future. tucker carlson, is laughing and shaking his head. how dare you call a woman who is boston scientific sy. >> what is business psychologist? talk about best job ever been i want to be a business psychologist. that is unbelievable. >> i think you are a business school gift. >> my experience empty work place two points, men and women are different, they do manage differently. that is real. i find women have more trouble working with one another than men. >> amen. >> amen. >> we don't see ourselves clearly, but it is woman i hear in the work place saying she is too emotional.

♪ >> welcome book to "outnumbered." well new "fox news poll" just out showing just what americans think about president obama on two very key issues. first up leadership. just 43% of registered voters describe the president as a strong leader. while more than half disagreed. and take a look at this. a record low 43% see president obama as honest. and for the first time since 2007 a majority, 54%, say no the word honest does not describe the president. tucker, why do you think this is all of a sudden? >> because you can't fool all the people all the time. these numbers are pretty much right. there is a large core of obama
