them and kill them. isis claims responsibility for that terror attack in tunisia that hest 23 people dead nine people are now under arrest in that attack. some brand new information coming in about that cyanide letter sent to the president. a chicago area homeless man is now under arrest. police aren't releasing his name at this point but saying he has been on the fbi and secret service's radar for some time. he's believed to be mentally ill. an initial test of that letter turned up negative but a second test came up positive. authorities retesting to confirm that. talk about a freaky friday. a rare trio of celestial events happening. first a solar eclipse taking place right now. take a look at that out of denmark. the moon passes between the earth and the sun and it can't be seen from the u.s. the best view right there in denmark. tonight the spring equinox begins that's when the sun shines directly on the equator

president obama and benjamin netanyahu. they finally did talk yesterday. the president picked up the phone and talked to him two days after his election victory. the last time he had to wait five days for a phone call. there they did talk. we don't have details on how it went. we do know this, netanyahu did sit down with megyn kelly and speak yesterday and started to clarify a little bit what he was talking about in the final days of the election when it came to the two state solution and more. i was amazed at the reaction from the administration. they are breaking up and spanking our chief ally. it's like we're breaking up with canada. telling england to go jump in a lake. because we don't like the way the election went we're saying to benjamin netanyahu we just might to change the way we view each other. >> because you changed. you now don't support this two state solution in the way you mentioned before. now we'll change at least what

the white house press secretary put forward yesterday. that call between president and netanyahu is lukewarm. with megyn kelly it seemed to be warmer in fact. watch. >> i think president obama has said time and time again as i've said the only path to a peace agreement is an agreement, a negotiated agreement. you can't impose it. in any case you have to get the international community to press on the palestinians to go back on their unity pack with the terrorists pack with hamas and come back to the table. you can't for the people of israel to bring them peace and security, to secure the state of israel to accept terms that would endanger the very survival of the state of israel. >> mr. netanyahu did sound like he was backing up what he said a couple of days earlier. essentially he's accurate. it was campaign talk. he was saying right now peace is not possible. one of the things the president did say to mr. netanyahu yesterday on the phone was, you

know what? we'll reassess our situation you because you talked about you know there can't be any two state solution between you and palestine. we don't like that. if that were to go through at the united nations what that means israel has to give up the west bank. west bank filled with palestinians reallies are fearful they would start shooting rockets at them. charles krauthammer was on last night and said no government in israel would ever hand over the west bank if that's what the president wants it ain't going to happen. >> the fact is that netanyahu said even in the outlying statement there won't be a palestinian statement while i'm prime minister. i have news for the white house there won't be a palestinian state wouldn't even been if herzog won. there's no government in israel that would hand over the west bank to a government that

includes hamas. >> of course not. >> it's difficult for the u.s. to keep opposing palestinian statehood at the united nations essentially saying you're on your own. by the way, it's unbelievable. i never thought we would be saying this in our lifetime. maybe some extreme candidate maybe at some point on the stump or running for the nomination down the line talking anti-israel but for the president to say this, for josh earnest to reiterate it off a campaign speech is unthinkable. >> when you listen to the prime minister, beennjamin netanyahu say his job is to keep the israeli state safe. you have to wonder. if this deal with iran is bad for our closest ally in the region is it good for us? the president answered that. he then goes and talks to iran and makes a statement there

get their votes. i got a bunch of people i can't convince. i can't convince the black community to vote for me. >> if you look on what republicans are focusing on. the republican party has no items on their agenda that african-americans care about. >> that's patently -- i don't want to get into it -- it's not true. >> why? >> first of things that republicans are talking about smaller government education. look at education. >> cutting education. cutting head start. >> the average kid going college right now is reading at a sixth grade level. why should we vladimir putining more money into these policies. what about other slugs. >> school choice. tell me if you agree with this. here the republicans put together a budget for welfare reform and food stamp reform not to hurt any community but to get people, a strategy to get them off of welfare and off of food stamps but they don't communicate that. >> in the voting rights act.

students represent about 3% of our student body. >> okay. that seems like a low number. why is that? >> you know, it's -- it's a difficult question to answer. the reason that they propose is that it's systemic oppression. but most of us are aware of the fact that the uc system does a lot of active recruitment in underrepresented communities and tries to make sure that our campus is representative of the greater demographic of california and even the country. and so the reason why their representation on campus is so low could be them self-selecting out of attendming the university. or it could be simply a matter of not being admitted to the school. it doesn't necessarily mean that the school has a particular prejudice against a group. >> well, the group did give a deadline and an ultimatum to the chancellor, i believe it was a couple of days ago on st. patrick's day. they did not respond. they have not renamed the building. what happens next?

>> you know, these types of student groups, these time of extremist demands -- >> yeah. >> -- are made on the uc berkeley campus more than once a week and oftentimes the administration does ignore it. sometimes the administration davis. i think ultimately the student groups wants their demands met. i don't think that they want to go to battle with the administration that allows them the very ability to try to make these demands and try to enter into these negotiations. but at the end of the day, they're attempting to celebrate someone who is a known terrorist. and they're portraying her as an innocent civil rights leader when, in fact, she is essentially the antithesis of martin luther king jr. and other members of the civil rights movement. people that put themselves in harm's way, people that -- >> sure. >> -- risked their lives in order to change the things in america that needed to be changed and ultimately it improved the course of history. and this woman is the opposite of that. >> right. >> she's not a civil rights pioneer. >> no she's a cop killer.

responsibility for the attack. so far nine arrests have been made in tunisia. well, back here at home we have brand-new information about the cyanide-laced letter sent to president obama. it turns out that a homeless man from the chicago area is to blame for that. police aren't releasing his name at this time. but they say they've arrested him -- they've arrested him saying he's been on the radar. both the fbi and the secret service for some time. he's also believed to be mentally ill. and an initial test of that letter turned up negative for cyanide but a second test came up positive. authorities now say they are retesting that to confirm. well, caught on camera the moment a drone flies dangerously close to a news helicopter. take a look. >> we got a drone out here somewhere. >> above airport. got it. got it. look at that guy. he's got to be what, 1,500 feet? >> wow. well, that drone buzzing by just 50 feet from the blades of a helicopter. this was flying over seattle

house fire that helicopter was. well, pilots say that drones cruising that high are extremely dangerous. in part because the vortex that's created by the helicopter's wings, it could have sucked that little drone right into the blades and caused that helicopter to crash. federal law limits drones to fly 400 feet or less. the helicopter pilots saying they thought it was about 1,500 feet. the drone's operator may only face a fine. and talk about a freaky friday, a rare trio of celestial events happening today. as steve was talking about. the spring equinox begins that's when the sun shines directly over the equator and it marks the start of that season in the northern hemisphere. and take a look at this amazing picture from the european space agency. that's this morning's solar eclipse and it ended a few minutes ago. you can see that brian. a solar eclipse happens when the moon passes between the suns and earth. remember that from science class? and then tonight there will be a supermoon.

all right. staff sergeant charles beard was serving our nation in iraq. he was in tikrit when his wife let him know their car was being repossessed and despite a federal law to protect the troops while serving there was nothing they could do to fight it. they had to let it go. join us is charles beard and his attorney sergei lindbergh welcome guys, thank you for joining us. >> how you doing? >> great. sergeant, tell us what happened. you were serving in tikrit, you got a really important job. your wife gets in touch with you

and says your car is being repossessed. bring us back. >> well, at the time i was working in the battle, basically in a common language as a dispatcher for my unit and when i got the call, i was told to call home because she was pretty hysterical. they came to the house apparently and said, look, we're going to take the car or charge you with grand theft auto. and she got worried and gave the car to them. she didn't know what to do. she contacted me. i notified my j.a.g. out there and they sent a letter to them let them know they were in violation of srca act and also my wife at the time she told them that, you know, he's overseas. he's deployed serving his country and they said they didn't care. i didn't fall underneath that act. >> really nothing you could do. the name of the company san tander, right? >> we took them to arbitration and -- >> when did you get involved, sergei? >> around maybe six months later

charles contacted me. relayed the facts. we filed a class action complaint in the federal district court in sacramento and it turned out later that there was an arbitration clause in the agreement so the class action was sent to arbitration. >> right. so, next thing you know you got to get your car back and you had to take a day off from what you're doing in the middle of a war zone to try to get it handled. you add that stress to it. what eventually ended up happening, sergeant, with your car? >> this repossessed the vehicle. >> and when you -- >> they repossessed it. they tried to -- they tried to charge me for the fees for the, you know, to sell the vehicle. and what was leftover from financing and all my credit report was on a repossession. >> you can't rid of that. that's still on your credit report and it's giving you problems still that your car was repossessed. you end up getting reimbursed for the money, correct? over $6000? >> yes. but they actually did take it off my credit report after. >> did they?

network star and her husband and this coming in moments ago a fire has erupted in a mobile home on a suspect's property, they are looking in to whether robert owens was in the mobile home at the time. he was arrested earlier this week for allegedly killing christie and j.t.codd and also her unborn child. this morning we're hearing that owens is also tied to a cold case, a disappearance, from 2000. we'll bring you more when we get it. spring break taking a dangerous turn in texas. a 21-year-old woman is dead this morning. after falling from a seventh floor balcony on south padre island. police say that alcohol was not a factor. and then in florida a spring breaker could be in serious danger. pictures posted online showed this woman naked and then surrounded by men. police need help in finding her. all they know is that this picture was taken in florida.

they're not sure where exactly. they're concerned that this was not a consensual situation. they believe, though, she's somewhere in the gulf coast region. we'll keep you posted. a notorious felon with ties to a terror group cleared for faster boarding at the airport? there's a brand-new report that says the computer program recommended that the unnamed passenger would be allowed to get the tsa's precheck program. that requires a u.s. passport and takes about 20 minutes to complete at the airport. it lets passengers go through security without taking off their shoes or removing liquids from their bags. a tsa agent recognized the convict and then alerted his agency reviewing its vetting process. lucky to be alive a remiracle here, a 22-month-old boy makes a miraculous recovery after face down in an icy creek and not breathing. gardell martin had no pulse for an hour and 41 minutes after he was pulled from the water behind
