friends. everybody else was cooperative to a fault except scott. >> scott takes a special interest in the search and berkeley marina. >> he's coming back to the scene of the crime as far as i am concerned and checking it out and making sure we are not finding something. >> there was one time when there was a false alert when the searchers had found something and the buzz wasn't -- it was possibly a body but of course it turned out to be an anchor. there was a phone call made to scott. of course it went over to his voice mail because he screened his calls. when he was told it wasn't laci it was just an anchor we could hear him on the tape do a subdued whistle like... >> it is mom about quarter to 1. just wanted you to know i got a call from ron howard he's at the arena it was an anchor. of course we knew it wasn't lacy i just wanted you to know.
