he had reportedly not been feeling well for weeks. an investigation is underway but the coroner does not suspect foul play. those are your headlines. >> thank you. all right. it was just about a week ago when indiana passed the religious freedom act which impacts all people of faith. well, there's been a firestorm in the mainstream media. yesterday governor pence was on our program. he said there is some tweaking that needs to be done. as it turns out the indiana law -- which is much like laws in about two dozen other states as well and also signed by bill clinton in 1993 is broader. he wanted language fixed yesterday. it sounds like the senate pro tem in indiana was going to do that. governor pence is expecting legislation on his desk tomorrow or the next day. >> over in arkansas, despite the mainstream media putting pressure on other states.

how do you handle situations where things are going against you. so far if hillary clintonson getting a quick trial run at how she's going to handle the controversial moments, she's doing terrible. i think it's amazing we have not heard from bill clinton at all. this thing is catching speed. those who thought she was going to say, well the right wing media is having a field day with me are mistaken. there are too many problems with your explanation. >> right now her strategy is not to say anything and wait for the republicans to duke it out. her polls have gone down but i'm sure they're going down we can recover. >> they're focusing so much on indiana and this law that is disinterpreted. now you see hillary clinton's story trying to go away. fitting with her strategy. >> i saw last night on a network i almost see because i couldn't get ours. they led with this story.

i think with the e-mail story with hillary clinton. >> good. >> i was amazed by that. >> you can't hide forever, right? >> i don't think any of the networks led with this story. harry reid pretty much admitted he is a liar. he's not going to back down. he has no regrets. he was talking to dana bash over on cnn. we'll show you that clip in just a moment. here is an example of a bald faced lie. harry reid, the guy who was running the senate on the hallowed floors of the u.s. senate back in 2012 about mitt romney. this, ladies and gentlemen, is a lie. >> he's refused to release his tax returns as we know. if a person coming before this body wanted to be a cabinet officer, he couldn't be if he had -- if he did the same as mitt romney does about tax returns. so the words out that he hasn't paid any taxes for ten years.
3:11 am
let him prove that he has paid taxes because he hasn't. >> we later find out that harry reid never met mitt romney. no idea where this came from. this looks like a child that makes up a lie who says i never ate the jelly with jelly all over his face. we thought it was a joke. we couldn't believe it got traction. harry reid was asked about this. he is going to call it a career at 70 something, listen. >> call it whatever they want. romney didn't win, did he? >> bald faced lie. an indication there of the strategy behind it. lacking civility there. mitt romney ended up coming forward and producing his tax records. completely refuting this lie lie harry reid. he still says he stands by it. it served our cause, doesn't it? >> he justified it there at the very end. he didn't win, did he? it was all about winning.
3:12 am
