he soared through restricted airspace and landed on the lawn. he was delivering letters that were addressed to every member of the congress about what he says is corruption in the campaign system. he says he's had the plan to land for months. the feds didn't try to stop them. we were follow that story throughout the morning. from football superstar to brutal murder. aaron hernandez found guilty in the murder of his former friend. he is sentenced to life in prison without parole. members of the jury five men and seven women were not afraid to speak after the trial. >> you try not to form an opinion. >> and assume. >> we followed the court's orders.

who he says is spreading the rumor that -- with the big eye injury that harry reid says he got hurt with exercise equipment. rush limbah is saying on the radio that he got beat up by the mob. >> he loves bill clinton, former president there and hillary clinton. and the primary is pretty much unnecessary because she's a given. >> harry reid has been getting a pass for the longest time. whether it's lying about mitt romney or saying the president of the united states speaks with a negro dialect when he wants to. all those things would destroy anybody else's career but for him it kept him in his position of power. the rubio campaign will be here shortly, they said they are so stunned by the number of $1.5 million. they expected to raise that in april, may and june. they never expected to raise that in the first week.

welcome back. it's time for quick headlines for you. the va scandal is growing this morning with a bomb shell report that says the department sent out a memo used by its philadelphia office to justify making old claims seem newer. the va inspector general said this made it look like the office is making more progress on the back log of veteran claims than it really was. it's the last thing you want to hear after tax day. the irs saying they need more money. the agency said they need the funding to hire more workers and implement obamacare. this is despite blowing millions on its budget on stair climber, office furniture and plush toys.

what's going to happen with the clinton foundation. the cash continues to flow. this is a big story we'll follow today. the clinton foundation will continue accepting foreign donations during hillary clinton's campaign for the white house. that could become a very big issue. the foundation says it will take money from six countries already supporting them. includelith australia germany and canada. the foundation can still take money from other nations. here is the overall rub with this. foreigners are not allowed to give money to election campaigns. some critics fear that donations to these groups will influence hillary clinton. critics say they want all foreign money stopped all together to both of those entities. a sickening groping plot at the security gate. two tsa agents have been fired after they allegedly conspired to fondle atrackive men at the

denver international airport. a male agent would signal to a female agent when he saw a guy they liked. they would set opthe screening machine. the passengers would be subject to a pat down where the female agent would get extra handsy. the tsa has called the incident intolerable. this man set his rental car. he was trying to kill bed bugs in the car. he thought pouring rubbing alcohol would do the trick. this guy lit a cigarette. he set three cars and himself on fire. we can't make this up. the guy suffered second degree burns but will be okay. he will not face criminal charges. a planned memorial for our fallen service members is being called inappropriate for a michigan park. it's commonly known as the

we'll ask judge andrew napolitano. >> unfortunately, it is legal. and unfortunately it can happen to almost anybody the irs wants to target. >> what law? >> there's a law that prohibits structuring. here's what structuring is. if you deposit $10,000 in any bank account the bank has to report that to the federal government and the irs. >> they're looking for drug dealers and money laundering. >> precisely. in order to avoid that, instead of depositing $10,000 you deposit $99.99,999 the irs can still look at that and say you're trying to avoid the reporting requirement you are structuring your deposits to stay below $10,000. this is a fraud. we're going to seize the money before you can spend it. >> people -- a lot of people actually do that. they know $10,000. bells and whistles go off. this guy runs a dairy farm had

side of it. we lower taxes nine out of ten americans. we help families that are raising children. i tell you why that's important. they are raising our future taxpayers. social security and medicare is funded as pay as you go. today's workers are funding today's social security. my mom is on that. when we pay in to social security, we're funding that. the future payers are the children of today. and parents that are undertaking the response are investing in america's future. the tax plan adds to the child tax credit enin recognition that the current tax code penalized families with children. >> our deficit is growing again. you're saying less revenue. i promise you, growth. >> actually after ten years, through this plan, if you look at it ten years from now it will be revenue positive. because of the economic growth aspect.

here's the other point, even if this tax plan raised taxes it wouldn't cut the debt or make a dent. here's what we need to do. you have to do two things to deal with the debt. you have to grow your economy, rapidly, not slowly, not 2% a year. fast. this plan does that. the second thing is you have to hold the line on future spending. this is growth part of that plan. >> senator, your plan while there are some people are going out there great somebody is talking about it. there are critics on both sides. the "the wall street journal" looked at it and they say it falls short. >> they don't like the child tax credit. we looked at that. if you got rid of our child tax credit portion there would be more people to support it. we would only cut the rate by 2%. that's what we're arguing about here. but i think it's much better to say the way we deal with it on this plan, there is penalty in
