in denton texas, lightning from this storm strikes a gas well sparking a massive explosion. you can see smoke and fire shooting several feet into the air. no one was hurt in the blast. meanwhile cleanup begins in oklahoma after tornadoes rip through that state. 30 people were injured. this includes 12 at an oklahoma city rv park destroyed by a twister. oklahoma police taking cover inside her storm shelter drowning after it flooded. emergency in 12 counties. dangerous amounts of rainfall in storms pushing rivers and creeks over their banks. a hail storm looking more like a snowstorm. several inches of hail falling in colorado springs. there was so much interstates had to be shut down because some drivers were getting struck. more bad weather is in the forecast for parts of western kansas, oklahoma and central

americans had their data stolen last year. that is roughly 20 percent of the population and not more than 27 percent from the previous year. if you think the majority of victims were targeted on-line you would be wrong. that accounted for just 18 percent of the thefts. the overwhelming amount 76 percent originated from brick and mortar stores and financial institutions. consumers are doing very little to protect themselves. what can you do? well for a start replace your credit or debit cards the moment you suspect fraud. be suspicious of any request for your personal information. change your pass word e-mail address and use the name on a regular basis. i know it is a pain but it is worth it. try not to use your e-mail address as your user name because it makes it easier for hacker software to breech your accounts. make sure you closely monitor your accounts. the moment you receive any
