a rare snowfall in colorado and parts of south dakota. dropping nearly a foot. it is may 11th. that was may 10th. what the heck is going on? >> how ondoes it snow on mother's day? >> i don't think often. >> because we request that. we're done with it. >> we don't want snow for father's day. >> i'll put a note in. >> there was terrible news out of mississippi on mother's day. more details came in. benjamin deen and liquori tate were responding to a routine traffic stop. somebody was speeding. by the end of the encounter, they both lay alongside the road. they would eventually die. this morning four people are facing charges, including for two of them, capital murder. >> you have marvin banks, 29, 22-year-old joanie calloway also, she's -- they're facing the same charges. two counts of capital murder.

>> curtis banks has been charged with accessory after the the fact. a fourth suspect came out crying charged with obstruction of justice. >> marvin banks related to the curtis banks also charged with beingtheft. >> they shoot him. tate comes with backup. they kill both of them. one lay there dying. they take the police cruiser. >> as the get away vehicle. >> yet we don't know the motive, correct? >> you know what it sounds like? a couple of felons had guns in the car and that's illegal. maybe they freaked out. don't know. both the officers were killed in cold blood. this is a very sobering statistic. officers deen and tate are the 39th and 40th american police officers who have been killed in the line of duty this year alone. >> so far.

you know you look at -- this is horrible. 126 officers were killed in 2014. and that jumped up from 2013 when 76 officers -- still too many -- were killed. increase statistic and now you're looking at the 40th officer killed this year. >> i want to add on the life of officer benjamin deen. he is a k 9 officer and officer of the year. 25-year-old liqueury tate, his dream was to help out the black community. he wanted to be a police officer. he's providing back up and he loses his life. >> when you look at the relationship there and the reaction. the mayor along with the governor, they both asked people to pray. they said to keep in mind the officers that protect both those there in mississippi and across the nation. and to pray for officers across the nation. >> the mayor will be with us later.

>> there is going to be a memorial event in hattiesburg. they will have their court appearances today. shortly after these two police officers were murdered, somebody who apparently works at a subway, she put up on social media on her facebook page. two police officers, was shot in hattiesburg tonight. and then some crying emoji. got them. then she started taking some flack online. she doubled down. and she said we can turn this [ bleep ] into baltimore real quick. police take away innocent people lives every day now and get away with it. no mercy. >> people losing their appetite listening to that h. people got online viral and started asking for boycotts of the sandwich shop. if you're not going to correct it, we're going to assume you

this actually happened. the family was headed home to oregon. after a trip to disney world when donna beagle realized her daughter was getting hungry. juliet, has special dietary needs. so her mom asked for food from first class. >> i asked the flight attendant if she had anything hot. if it's warm, she won't eat it. if it's cold. no, i don't have anything. i said well how about if we wait for her to have a melt down and then she's crying and tries to scratch. then you'll want to help her. >> the flight attendant reluctantly complied. then, the plane made an emergency landing in utah. >> the police officer said you know, we have to ask you to leave the plane. the captain doesn't feel comfortable flying to portland with your daughter. people were shouting. leave her alone. let her go. let her go. there's no issue. >> the family was escorted off the plane. they were booked on a new

island. 33 police officers have been killed. wheres the outrage, where the media? why are we not talking about reform and dealing with the issues of crime? >> you know what i'm seeing, two islands. 30,000 people show up in new york for one man they never met and they come from around the country. i see the passion in baltimore which turned out to be riots and unrest. >> let's get to the heart and soul of this. there was over 6,000 young kids in a minority communities that were killed not by cops. this is black on black crime. this is the issue. instead of the sharptons jumping around ugly with everything. they should be marching on black on black crime. there were five kids in baltimore in the last two weeks. not by cops. my problem is, when you look at them idolizing rappers. let them idolize officers. >> that's because the cops are the last line of defense. they're asking the cops to be the parents. >> i think a lot of times we have to look at the parenting.

what does this say to say with the latest girl scouts' move? >> you know, the girl scouts, here we go again. they've been lurching to the left since the 1970's, unfortunately they took god out of the pledge. they hold up feminists up. i have good friends whose daughters are in girl scouts. it makes it harder and harder for them to stay. now with this latest move, they're no longer girl scouts, they're just scouts. that's fine if they want to rebrand. it raises all kinds of questions for patients, volunteer parents who are involved. how are they supposed to manage this? how are they supposed to protect their own children's privacy? it's very complicated and difficult. >> looking at the numbers here between 2003 and 2014 have dropped by 27%. this could be as you indicated a reason why. does this start when a child

the tornado ended up coming through, snapped a lot of trees just like tooth picks. it damaged a lot of homes and cars throughout the area. as we walk this way, i want to show you the elementary school for van, it got hit. pretty much every window smashed. there is debris everywhere. we know that 26 people who live in van were transported by ems to local hospitals. we're told many more could have gone by private transportation the number of injured could go up. at the same time, ten people are unaccounted for. we're told that search and rescue teams are going home to home trying to find those people. they're doing everything they can to make sure that they find everybody who was impacted. at the same time, there is a flash flood watch in this area. they're concerned more bad weather could be coming through in the next couple of hours. >> thank you very much. i'm looking at the radar now and i see a line of heavy storms.

regulation from dodd frank to obamacare, epa rules, it's squeezing the life out of any other opportunity to hire people. because it's all about legal staff that's being hired. everyone else, they're talking about look, it's just not cost effective. >> less traders, more people in the legal. >> that's right. fewer people that are actually inin integral to the business. >> no one talks to more business leaders than you do on a regular basis. if you have a universal truth it's too much regulation. if candidates are looking for a silver bullet that would go across party lines and cat pult them on top, wouldn't regulation be the silver bullet. >> that's definitely one of the things. i don't think anyone is saying we don't want to be regulated or the law. you need an environment where it is rational where that's what these guys are thinking about,
