because of what was caught on camera. >> it looked like a one man machine when it comes to this officer and the breaking -- many different areas of mastery of self-defense. because of what happened the way he took this down the way he tries to defuse the situation that resulted in his temporary suspension and this march last night. >> over 800 people gathered here carrying signs against police brutality. some as you see them moving there in groups over 800. led by a group called next generation action. dominique alexander is the president of that organization that is demanding that the officer be fired in this case and be charged with assaulting the youth. we're going to speak with dominique alexander coming up in the program in just about 15 minutes. meanwhile, on the front page of the dallas morning news. they say there are two narratives about what happened there. either white residents harassed

neighborhood black kids at a pool party or law officers safely dispersed a loud out of control mob of teenagers. those are the two narratives regarding the video caught on camera. here is one of the witnesses make -- megyn kelly last night defending the police officers who were involved in the friday night fracas in texas. >> you were the -- he was the first officer to arrive there and it was chaos when he arrived there, and i think he had to kind of match that situation with a good amount of aggression to kind of calm the crowd down. the only people he were going after were people who just got up and started running, and it wasn't just black kids. there was a white female was one of the first ones i saw in handcuffs. >> the whole thing with this racial stigma i don't believe that that police officer came out there with the intent of throwing a 14-year-old girl down and starting this. this is not ferguson.

lunging toward him and he pull a gun. there are a lot of narratives out there right now. there are a lot of stories, the police are conducting a full gigs. i do know that the mckinney fraternal order of police issued a statement last night saying they were sure this was not a racially motivated incident and can say without a shadow of a doubt that all members of the police department not conduct racially biased policing. that was not racial in nature. that was simply a pool party that got out of control. >> the case involved a 10-year veteran once named the department's patrolman of the year. the manhunt intensifies for two dangerous killers who escaped from a prison near the canadian worker. we have more information about the prison worker who may have helped them escape. >> authorities are looking at every lead in this case saying that these dangerous men had to

have some sort of help for this great escape and they are reportedly questioning joyce mitchell a prison employee who taught inmates how to sew. she's now off that job. the convicted murders were last seen in their cells on friday night. this morning, a couple living in the same town they are claiming that they saw these two killers in their backyard. the pair didn't raise suspension at the time because they were wearing civilian clothes and that is a prij that they had been given behind bars. police just released pictures of both suspects' tattoos, hoping the markings can help people identify them. >> we want to get these guys back. these are really bad actors. these are killers. these are murderers. they are going to be desperate. they killed once. they will do it again. >> police in upstate new york are now guarding schools as a precaution and again these men are extremely dangerous.

were his friends. he felt like he picked on individually these black kids that was all around him. the officer never -- when he was dispatched never went to and asked these kids did they actually stay there. every kid that he harassed on that side of that street actually stay in this craig ranch community. >> there's an investigation going on right now. so that has yet to be determined. i want to bring to you fact there is an eyewitness who said this isn't about race. one actually said there were kids who were white who were being told to sit down and do not move. this is not about black kids and ben who lives in the neighbor says race was not as well. >> the whole thing racial stigma i don't believe that police officer came out there with the intent of throwing a 14-year-old girl down and starting this. this is not ferguson. this is not baltimore.

i get it. i wouldn't want to see a 15-year-old kid get pushed to the ground. hang on a minute. when you are looking at is the fault of the officer restraining this girl because she's a girl because she's young or because she's black? which one of those is it? >> because he restrained her in the way that he was acting from the beginning of the video, when he came out to the scene, he never investigated the scene. he never even went to the individual that even made the call. >> again, that investigation is still under way. we are not privy to the facts about what he investigated when. we have the video that was shot by someone who says this was about race. i want to bring this to the front in fairness to our viewers who many have brought to the attention of the public that you yourself were reported to the cops by a neighbor that you were grabbing your girlfriend at the time as she walked away from you, that you had a history of anger and when your girlfriend triedce you took her phone to stop her, they are saying who are you to say this officer shouldn't be dealing with a female this way

when you yourself have had a history. what do you say to this credit ticks? >> what i can say is that incorrect. that's an incorrect statement. that fact is not true. that is -- >> were you not involved in the incident? >> no i was not involved with that incident. that is incorrect. that's you know that's the clarity of what people will try to do to destroy you and your name when you are trying to bring justice toward a situation. these are our children. these are our children being attacked by an officer that has an extensive military history. he has a s.e.a.l.-team training. he knows how to act and this is an active supervisor. he's an acting sergeant acting like this. badge number 227 -- >> he was also patrolman of the year in the past. he's a ten-year veteran of the force here. the dallas morning news by the way had that information on you. so you can contact them if that is indeed incorrect.

>> yes. i've been in contact with them. again, let me tell you this this officer right here when this video leaked this information, the officer's name was not released to us by the city of mckinney or the city of police. it was released to me by members in the community that actually wanted to see eric casebolt fired from this police force. he has a history of acting toward this community and this police chief has been in this department for about six weeks now, so there's a lot of stuff that was going on in the past. we know this by the police chief that was let go. these people had rights to be there. >> dominique, this was a party where it got out of control with the fight. police were called in. the facts are still being unfolded right now. in this investigation, we can agree to let them play out, let it unfold and it will be told whether this officer will be in

that decision? >> does he want one? >> no. it's true. i think what's really disappointing about this president is not just lack of leadership but his tendency to always place the blame for his lack of leadership somewhere else. so in the case of isis it's apparently the pentagon's fault or the iraqi's fault. if his legislation doesn't pass it's the republican's fault. that's why i think the 2016 election is going to be about leadership. what is leadership? i think it's also about the direction that we want to take this nation. this is a pivotal paint. we need a leader in the oval office. >> chris christie is currently criticized for saying he'd take the lead and crack down on legalized marijuana as president. what do you think of his position and about the criticism he's facing because of it? >> including colorado. >> we first, i believe in state's rights.

while i don't support legalized marijuana for a host of reasons, including the fact this is a very complex chemical substance. when we tell young people it's like drinking a beer we're not telling them the truth. on the other hand colorado voters made a choice. they may make a different choice as they see this play out. i agree on chris christie with one thing. we lost a daughter to addiction. this hits close to home for me. when we incarcerate people for abuse of drugs, we're not helping them. hipa laws in the country isolate people that need help and make it difficult for families and communities to help them. we have to have different approach to addictions of all kinds. i think colorado voters made a choice. i don't support their choice. i support their right to make that choice. >> i tell you what carly, one thing since you came out, released your book been campaigning going with where hillary clinton went in some
