insiders. senator marco rubio and governor chris christie spent the weekend at the romneys' home in new hampshire. any candidate would argue we'd love to get romney's support right now and the political insiders are back to talk about that. doug mitt romney wielding a lot of power right now. >> he's playing the role patti ann, of the king maker. he's inviting the candidates setting the tone in term os the confederate flag and what donald trump has said about the illegal immigrants. he's trying to be the conscience of the republican party. there's abu. inaddition to trying to be the king maker, he's trying to be the king. if the candidates all crash and burn if there's division discord, or disharmony in the republican party, i predict hit romney will try to throw his hat back into the ring. you're a republican party. do you agree?

>> there's no question. when we withhe wu jrueithdrew, he didn't really withdraw. they'll have a lot of money this time ignoring the reagan 11th commandment and maybe in april when the thing is going badly when a late entrant mitt romney steps forward and says i'm not a part of it. if you want someone clean and new, i'm it. i can argue he's not new but that's his thinking. >> maybe reinvented? >> exactly. >> does he stand a chance against hillary if it's hillary? >> it might not be hillary. >> romney? no. i mean i think that's even worse than bush. you have a man who shows no compassion for anyone who's nothing but the echo of the political class of the republican party who lost an

election that could not be lost and bring him back and tell the country 27% of americans believe americans are in decline that you bring him back you might as well call off the election. not that hillary is any bunch neither. the point is none of these people going on have any idea of talking about the people you put up on the screen do not speak about the other corruptions going on nor does the press. it is -- and when one candidate actually arcticticulates a real message of both a kra teak and a hope that the people have the answer things will change. >> all right. we want to move on -- >> whether it's in the parties or outside the parties. >> we want to move on to the democratic side of things hillary clinton taking somewhat of a beating after yesterday's parade in which she was in new hampshire and her campaign roped off literally the press who were trying to cover her and we have

the video to show of that i believe. you know they say there would be enough distance so that hillary could shake hands with some of the regular people who were there and that they could go and get a good view of her. john, what about the optics of this? >> i was going to say, if i think back to her book tour a year and two months ago she's had a steady trajectory and a gradual be steady decline. it really hasn't been a good kay for hillary clinton. even her two announcements have been odd. they went in the volvo or van. that was weird. the governor's island, rhode island was not much. i think she has no political sense. i think she is of the establishment at a time we say the establishment is not popular. and i wouldn't bet that she's the democratic nomination.

>> i think we can put the polls up. what john is saying is all too true. >> let's put that up right now. the iowa democratic caucus. back in february hillary was at 61. she's now at 52. back in february sanders was at five. he's now at 33. sanders, someone who people said doug was very unlikely as a candidate, he's shooting up there. clinton's going down. >> this is a pure protest against income inequality against the establishment in the same way that back in 1968 senator mccarly drove the incumbent president out of the race by get 4g 2% in new hampshire. there is someone waiting in the wings. that's elizabeth warren who sore far said she is not running for president. if this trend continues as john suggests it might wlrks elizabeth warren will emerge

that's a huge question that raises the democrats and hillary clinton as we go forward. >> pat, what's your take on the democratic side? >> my take on the democratic side is she's in deep trouble. she's i in trouble because as like lyndon b. johnson did, he did 67%, 68%. he had the war, nobody does it. clinton runs around with the scandals earn vel onning her and the corruptions of her husband. they have chosen not to investigate anyone except enemies of obama worse than the nixon administration they cytomenendez but they do not look into irs and lois lerner they will not look at the e-mails. they will not do anything of what 61% of the americans believe is the obvious dealings between hillary's decision and

final thoughts. pat, your final thought. >> my final thought, i'll sum up something alexis said. the evil that seems inevitable that we endure because it seems inevitable becomes unbearable the very moment that its elimination is conceivable. that is the politics that that wise man said. that statement is what we're -- >> can i respond. >> doug. >> i think that's very eloquent but i'll respond in plain english. the american people really had the power of possibility on the fourth of july weekend to change a country that we all agree is corrupt, dysfunctional, and not representative of any of this great people thof country. >> let me reiterate. i don't think you met the country is corrupt. the leadership's -- >> my apologies. >> my thought is what's going on this weekend is we have america the buddh, land of the free, home of the brave, and the
