the country. we heard from the mayor from san francisco, he blames republicans. bill owe lie -- o'reilly says mayor ed lee your time is up. >> they refused to cooperate with the federal government on criminal aliens. the feds asked the city of san francisco to keep francisco sanchez in custody. the city refused. ms. steinle paid for that irresponsible and unconstitutional decision with her life. the mayor and city officials are directly responsible for the murder of kate steinle and the obama administration is complicity. attorney general loretta lynch could order fbi agents to arrest mayor lee and the supervisors for violating the federal law. i know that's not going to happen because racial politics drives the law these days.

our republic. what do you say to those people? >> i can understand that. i'm a veteran. i love our country. i went to the citadel. i'm incredibly patriotic. at the same time, i'm a christian, when you look at the values of our nation, i think what we're reflecting here is what has been rather consistent with the majority of our people and if people would take the time to look at what we're doing, we had our youth involved in the flag raising ceremony. i was willing to serve in order to protect the right for people to be to express their religious beliefs as well and that's exactly what we're doing here. we're simply expressing our religious beliefs. condominium to god -- commitment to god first. many veterans share this consider concern.

there was a motiveless murder today. you are taking a look at the picture of at that victim. the 30-year-old was shot in the back of the head by a shotgun as she walked near the famous sunset boulevard with her boyfriend. that suspect is described as a black man in his 20s. he took off in a black sedan after that killing. police are unclear if she was specifically targeted but family and friends say she has no enemi enemies. >> do you remember the woman who took a selfie outside a explosion? she made national headlines when she posted of her smiling and flashing the peace sign outside that disaster site in march. she formerly worked at the obama campaign and the iowa democrat process. the hero grandfather jumping

seniors leaving college with a ton of student debt. well, i hope you are feeling lucky. a new jersey lawmaker is proposing legislation to create a new jersey student debt lottery. you can only enter if you owe and winners would not get the funds directly, they go straight to paying off your student debt. is that the way out of our debt crisis? we have been thinking about this all morning. >> let's work through this together. this is what the new jersey assemblyman, the sponsor of the bill and the chairman of the gaming committee in the gaming community has to say. they are graduating from units with too much on their shoulders. any vehicle that can provide relief is worth talking about. let's talk about it. it's bone headed and stupid. lottery is a regressive tax. >> of course. >> it taxes the poorest
