washington. we need a national strategy. we can't have 10000 different strategies in the united states to deal with with the home grown terrorist threat. one of the things that would help us and that the commander in chief, president obama did not do or what he did do, he gutted the department of defense program that allowed law enforcement, local law enforcement toous military surplus or require military surplus to respond to counter terrorism situation like we saw in chattanooga. he gutted that. everything he does comes up wrong. i never seen a president like this, that everything he touches turns to crap. there are things to we can do. i will not watch my community take on casulties. but we need a national strategy. >> we'll not get it from this president, sheriff. you know that you are the first line of defense whether it was

9/11 or world trade center or in chattanooga. we hear local cops running toward the shooter. you guys are on the front line and in the end of the day, the president talks about taking away your weapons? >> and in addition to that, he spent last six months berating and beating on the american law enforcement officer, weakening their morale and on the day of this attack, he was visiting a federal prison and lifting the spirits of federal prisoners and that is the state we are at. we can still do this in our hometown. in am going to enlist the assistance of the law abide approximating citizen. this guy was not on the radar screen. we can't predict everyone and every place. but i will need help in this fight and call on the armed american citizen and this attack on the home land.
