flames. what caused the fire? it is all "happening now". >> welcome to the second hour on this monday. we begin with another big name entering the race for president. ohio governor set to throw his hat in the ring. >> i am jon scott. >> and i am heather childers. >> he used to work here at fox news. but he may have to shout to get his message heard because he will be the 16th candidate in a crowded republican field. some say ka sich hits all of the right buttons. a problem solver and known for wearing his emotions on his sleeve with what senator mccain
10:02 am
called a hair-trigger temper. will this hurt him on the campaign trail or will he keep it under control. >> we'll talk about it with a lisa and michael warren. shera he will be the 16th gop contender for president. is there room for john ka sich. >> it is a great condition. so many candidates. but so many that are not so well known and the climb to getting there becomes steeper and steeper for them. we have seen john casick it will be a debate in cleveland, ohio. and looking like he will not make the cut for the top ten candidates in his home state
10:03 am
because he is not well known yet. >> you have seen him in action michael. is the temper tantrum real or overblown? >> there is truth to the story. he gets angry and he talks about idiots out there and all of this stuff. i think there is a market for a tough- talking candidate and wears his emotions on the sleeve. i am not sure kasich is the guy to do. it he gets too personal and he was speaking with the reporters and he was argumentive over the discussion of policy positions. and when it gets permanent like that it is about the candidate and not the issues compared that to chris christie who gets passionate but puts it back to the issues of whatever he's talking about in new jersey. ka sich will have to work on

10:05 am
kavich was going to win. he has issues on obama care that puts him at odds. he took the medicaid expansion and fought back against criticism saying i am a christian and i care about people. and if you do why are you not supporting the medicaid expansion. that puts him at odds with the voters. and there is a market if he can control thatanger into something that sounds appealing. >> in the meantime another governor of a state that is important. scott walker got in the race as late. and he leaped up in the top of the polls. what is the difference between
10:06 am
walker's approach and john kasich. he's been running for this since the beginning of this year and years before. he's a candidate who went to the cattle calls in iowa and new hampshire. scott walker is better known because of the recount battles he endured in home state of wisconsin. he is a known quantity and a lot of wealthy fans who like him as a result of those wins. >> when you look at two resumes with kasich that goes back to the times on the house budget committee and so forth, a longer term on the national stage, is what i am saying? >> but if you look at where successful presidential candidates have been. a study shoes moment of bursting
10:07 am

what the fbi will do to accomplish that is trace his activities and come up with a specific time line that leads up to the shooting. and what they are trying to determine here is this guy depressed drug addict to no longer value his own life? and that means you don't value anyone else either or radicalized by someone here or another count rear or a combination? >> it seems on the surface, this was a guy angry at the u.s. military or u.s. government and the military policies. but when you read more about the last weeks or months of his life it doesn't necessarily fit that pattern. >> he may have innate hatred to the military. it didn't surface. it was there, but again, we are
