that's going to be my case. it's going to be about solutions. i think americans are going get focused in. who is it who has the experience and who has the optimism and positive view for the future and who has the solutions to take care of things like border security. i think mr. trump got a lot of attention talking about the border. i got a lot of attention last year doing something about the border. that's what americans are looking for. bill: he said a lot of things about you and frankly they were not flattering. you have written an op-ed talk about him. you said i believe his philosophy is not conservativism. but demagoguery and nonsense and you call him a cancer to conservativism. >> i refer to that as trumpism,
6:17 am
not conservativism. i don't believe his rhetoric is good for america. we need somebody to bring this country together. we had 8 years a president who divide us by race and gender and economics. when need somebody to bring us together. but he's not interested in that. more last greeley -- horace said fame is a vapor and riches have wings. the only thing that endures is character. i suggest people will get focused on this issue of character. they want somebody who has a strong internal character. frankly we are not seeing that in donald trump. bill: you said running for president is not a tv reality

6:19 am
that it's not a state's responsibility to be securing the border. that's the federal government's responsibility. he may not know that, but i'll do my best to instruct him. bill: you have taken that upon yourself in texas. all this is going on and all this focus on the race for the nomination and what donald trump said or did not say. you have iranian nuclear negotiations that have been approved by the united nations and you have another step toward normalizing relations with cuba between the u.s. and cuba there. all these are huge issues we as a country have to address for some time to come. so is all of this a distraction? >> i don't think there needs to be a distraction from securing our border. what we did on the border in texas last year was reduce the
6:20 am
apprehensions by 74%. americans care about that. but they also care about a bad deal this president constructed with iran, and also i think there are a lot of americans that realize that normalizing these relationships with cuba is not good for the cuban people and not good for america. we can do these and pair well. i think it's important to talk about. here are the solutions that face us as a country. whether it's securing that bored or whether it's putting a coalition in place in the middle east to address isis. the president of the united states the expect president of the united states should negate terror that agreement with iran. but first i hope the united nations congress acts and sends a clear message this is not going to stand. and you have got the president who is totally and absolutely going around congress, tearing

lives but the white house flags have not been lowered to half staff. we have seen it all across the country in towns and homes. i am joined by bobby jindel who is live in des moines iowa. >> good morning. thank you for having me back. >> he heard from josh ernest when asked why is the flag not at half staff at the white house he said we will have to get back to you on that one. and we know it was lowered for newtown, boston, and other events. so why not this one? >> look i think that is exactly right. we have a president who is only interested in tragedy when it suits his political purpose. within 24 hours after charleston he was talking about gun control. of course the flag should be at half mass but why isn't he talking about the threat of
7:15 am
radical islam? david cameron give a powerful speech the prime minister over the united kingdom, gave a speech talking about the danger of radical islam, and the evil we face. our president still trying to lead from behind. he may be the last leader in the free world that doesn't recognize this threat. i think it is not politically correct. he needs to say islam has a problem and that is radical islam. >> we will talk later about the comments made by david cameron so i am glad you brought that up. in terms of the issue and what happened in chattanooga we are watching the chairman here reviewing mark nilly who suggested he would be in favor of arming military members some perhaps, at the recruiting centers. what do you think about hat? >> absolutely. we ordered the flags at half
7:16 am
mass in louisiana, i signed an ex ex ex ex ex -- executive order to arm the national guard. i am a firm believer in the second amendment right and especially when it comes to the military. we know isis is targeting military members and the recruit recruitment centers. let's not let what happened in tennessee happen again. >> let's move to politics. it is going to be 16 today when john kasich gets tht race. we see trump at 24%. i cannot get over how many names are on the list. there are quite a few. what do you think about the fact he is at 24%? scott walker is the next closest at 13%. >> i think national polls are measuring name id.

i think if tom brady ran he would be number one. we have having great crowds standing only positive numbers about in iowa. i don't think they want anyone to clear the field to anoint a candidate. voters want to hear from someone with a proven track record. and let's not be cheap democrats and be conservatives and repeal affordable care act, decline the size of government secure the border and many other things. >> the donald trump thing is a big topic. he is getting traction and we are getting a ton of viewer comments spot supportive of him. if donald trump wins the nomination for president would you vote for him? 62% say they definitely would not. so people in the polls are
7:18 am
saying they really like what donald trump is saying and they are glad he is in but they would definitely not vote for him. he is doing something to capture energy in the nation. is that something you want to tap into? >> voters are looking for an outsider, a truth teller someone who is not politically correct. jeb bush says we have to be willing to lose the primary in order to win the general and i disagree. republicans should embrace their own principles. there are republicans in washington, d.c. that think marriage is a distraction and don't think we can repeal and replace obamacare and are secretly glad the supreme court ruled the way they did. i think voters are saying we need to shrink the government protect the new born and degrade isis and someone that will
7:19 am
secure the border not talk about amnesty. that message is rezsonating. we have a republican majority and things are not a lot better. i think folks know this is the most important election of their life time. we need to stop the slide under socialism we are under now with obama and will be with clinton as well. >> you made the top 10 in iowa and we will see how you do and look forward to seeing you in iowa as well. good to have you. >> thank you. >> thank you for having me. a fed up judge calling the state department to tell them why it took more than four years to get records on hillary clinton. jim jordan from the oversight committee is here to talk next about this.

7:25 am
hillary clinton's personal record during her time at the state. jim jordan republican from ohio, member of the benghazi select committee, welcome here. >> good morning. >> here is the deal. the u.s. district judge richard leon is ticked off saying i want to find out what has been going on, or what hasn't been going on the state department has not been respond. >> spot on. we had a subpoena for two years. this is not the first federal judge weighing in on getting the documents to the right people. we had a subpoena for two years and they are dragging their feet. we only have 70% of the
7:26 am
documents from people and we need the documents to get to the truth for the american people and most importantly for the four families. >> what is in the documents? >> who knows they are dragging their feet. some of the information was there and we will bring that out when we depose them which is why you want this information before the depositions. the key person at the state department, kate duval was at the irs before this and was the chief council when last year -- chief council to the irs commissioner -- when 400 tapes were lost. she is at the state department now and her job is document production still. she is in charge of complying
7:27 am
with document production. when that key individual was there at the irs when that scandal was unfolding and we were trying to get documents from lois lerner 422 tapes destroyed and now she is here. judicial watch filled and they have had success and the judge is now demanding these documents within a week. will it happen? >> the courts have been helpful in the foyer request and times we have been trying to get information. it has been an outside group demanding it going to the judge, and the judge gets them there. i think it is a good thing. they better comply with the court. if they don't they are in trouble. >> we will see then. republican from ohio thank you for being here in new york. the president's handling of the controversial nuclear deal

a second video surfacing showing the top executive negotiating the price of baby tissue. >> what sort of compensation do you expect from in tact body parts? (inaudible) >> i would like to know what would make you happy and work for you. >> you want to play that game i get it. but -- >> julie is a fox news con contributor and michael is here as well. welcome both of you to this. second video over five days, michael. if you recall from last week it
7:33 am
was a similar scenario where planned parenthood came out to distance themselves from that employee. what do we make of this? >> she is haggling over the price of baby part and says labor in the video because she wants to buy a lambergini. there is a second planned parenthood. it goes back to people literally snipping the spines of babies after they are delivered. it is something coming from the culture that says life is not volleyball valuable. we cannot be on board with this. >> this second video has been out 90 minutes. what do you make of it? >> it is what it appears to be it is illegal but i want to
7:34 am
reserve judgment on it. >> what did you think of last week? >> there are two issues. one is the selling of fetal tissue which is illegal and planned parenthood said they don't exist and the second issue is using fetal tissue for research which you do with the woman's consent. i support that and other pro-life people support that. it has helped cure issues whether it is the polio vaccine or parkinson's cures. this will save a lot of lives. >> back to the issue today planned parenthood felt so strongly they had to come out and distance themselves from the individual last week. and they did not feel this was
7:35 am
an issue they could run away from. >> this is not an issue they could run away from. planned parenthood came out the president of planned parenthood came out saying they do not sell fetal tissue. it is legal to donate the tissue. >> what would the organization say now? >> i have no idea. i would like to see the whole video. if it appears to be what we saw it is illegal and clearly wrong and they should condemn it. >> it is not just what planned parenthood is going to do. federal tax dollars go to planned parenthood and there is no organization they should be funneled to a company like this. people should know democrat members of congress receive money from planned parenthood. richard hannah from new york has
7:36 am
received money from the organization. we have a moral liability to stand up to what is going on. >> is there enough support in congress to defund that? >> absolutely. >> you will absolutely see in september congress is going to de-fund planned parenthood. it doesn't matter what you think or which side you are on. there is no reason we should have a crony ism going on where the tax dollars are being funneled to a controversial organization. >> i am out of time. this topic is going to continue and we will see the response from the organization at some point we assume later today. julie and michael thank you. secretary of state john kerry is taking a trip to capitol hill delivering a classified briefing on the
7:37 am
nuclear deal and many lawmakers are fuming over the fact the united security council had the first say on the deal. but secretary kerry say world leaders wanted it that way. >> we got our colleagues in sovereign countries who have no obligation to the congress, to agree to accept 90-days of no implementation of the resolution they voted on. but some of the other countries were resistant to the idea that they are job subject to the united states congress. >> michael mccaul is chairman of the house means committee. what are you doing in miami? >> i am meeting with intelligence officials coast guard and cbt officials about
7:38 am
security in the western hemisphere. iran has an influence in cuba and lawsuit this area. we are concerned about the negotiation and what it means for the safety of the homeland. >> in terms of secretary kerry's comments he is saying to folks on the hill look back down. we had a tough time getting the deal and as part of the deal we were lucky we got these nations to agree we will talk to you about it for 90 days so you should be thankful. >> i think the american people through their representatives should be weighing in on the decision. i warned about this in a foreign affairs hearing and talked to our ambassador oo the united nation and sent a letter to the president and the secretary john kerry that they can through the
7:39 am
american people first before submitting this to the un council where you have countries like russia weighing in on the decision before congress. i think lawmakers are frustrated the fact un sanctions could be lifted on the teal and the train is out of the station. the only think that stop this is to disapprove the resolution and override the president's veto. that is the only way we can stop it. if the united states congress votes down this measure then i think the entire deal will employim implode. >> a lot of people are looking to senator chuck schummer. it is difficult.
7:40 am
how do you think it looks? >> i think he is one of the key points. i was meeting with israel officials, and jewish community officials last night talking about the strategy to get a-pack to weigh in with the members. they are a bipartisan organization and have the key on senator schummer. he is the key to stopping the entire deal. >> there is a lot of precssure on him. you mentioned the influence of syria and iran in the caribbean and other areas people are not familiar with. can you tell us about that briefly? >> my biggest concern is this bill frees up hundreds of thousands to a strong support of
7:41 am
state terrorism. hezbollah is there. my concern with the western hemisphere and they have great influence with venezuela. they have flights that go unchartered and have given hundreds of billions. what can they do to the homeland coming across the southwest border with enriched uranium they can continue to process and export. that is my real concern as chairman of homeland is what they can do. in addition to what you talked about earlier we discovered there is a syria colony jumping to the virgin islands and this is a real concern in terms of maritime security stopping syrian coming from the united states. we will be investigating on
7:42 am
following up with this with great intensity. >> we hope so. we look forward to hearing what is on your plate. >> 19 minutes before the hour. the british prime minister laying out plans to fight extremism and david cameron not afraid to use the word islamic terrorism. >> they are showing if men rape underage girls and stone insuspect women to death. this is a vicious brutal and fundamentally horrible situation. >> the prime minister's stron stance is very different from someone elses. that is next.

he focused on fighting the ideas that lead to violence. he had very tough talk for anyone who is considering joining isis or any terror group. >> here is my message to any young person in britain thinking of going out to join: you will not be a valued member of a move. if you a boy, they will brain wash you and put bombs on your body and blow you up. if you a girl they will abuse you. that is the sick, brutal world of isis. >> leslie marshall and tammy bruce are joining me now. welcome to you both. >> good morning. >> tammy i don't remember if president obama used words like this to young people.
7:47 am
has he in your recollection and should me? >> obviously, yes. the british have had enough. i think the resort massacre shocked them into realizing they must end political correctness and be blunt and get rid of the moral relativeness. it is women and children and little boys who are brainwashed as well that end up at the brunt of the horror. the english have a problem in saying no to this thinking it about is western value to allow people to do as they please. he made a good correlation between child pornography and ending that because there is a moral imperative. if we can shock the islamist framework out of their ability.
7:48 am
there is 4,000 cases alone just last year in england they realize they must put a stop to this. this is the beginning of saying enough is enough. >> we talk about the deep history of muslims in the united kingdom and he said i am not talking about muslims i know want peace and he said i know you are as outraged about this as i am. it is time to stand up to islamic extremism. is this a good strong message and do you want to hear more prom president obama? >> we get so hung up on labels. i think what the british prime minister did regarding kids and speaking to them i think that is a good thing. that wasn't the people joining isis we have seen on these websites according to the counterterrorism task force and exports i interviewed. we a are seeing people who are angry and like the idea of

having gun and power and four women as wives and they are buying into this. terrorist want one thing. and that is power. they want power. >> they are getting that quickly with the young people they are signing up. he called on the internet -- it is a pretty specific plan. we have breaking news so we have to go. i hope we pick it up again. >> thank you, tammy and leslie. this is what is happening on capitol hill. this is jim steinle the father of kate steinle. he will be at the microphone in a matter of moments as the house is set to vote this week on defunding in some way sanctuary cities like san francisco. how would they do that? how would they get that done?

hearing underway on the hill about sanctuary cities in america and one particular witness has been affected by this in a significant way. kate steinle's father is testifying and this is what he had to say about his personal experience just a moment ago: >> kate was special in the way she connected to people. we called it the kate affect. she was a beautiful, kind happy caring loving, deep in faith. kate had a special soul a kind and giving heart, a smile that
7:54 am
would light up the room. she loved to travel spend time with her friends, and most of all spend time with her family. in fact the day she was killed we were walking arm and arm on pier 14 in san francisco enjoying a wonderful day. a shot rang out, kate fell and looked at me and said help me dad. those are the last words i will ever hear from my daughter. the day kate died she changed her facebook cover photo to a saying that said whatever is good for your soul do it. that truly describes kate's spirit. after graduating, she went to work for a title company and
7:55 am
saved her money so she could see the world and travelled to spain, thailand amsteradam just to mention a few. we even went to india to reach out to families and spent time with a woman's family and came back a changed person. everywhere she went throughout the world she signed the good light of a good american. unfortunately do to misjointed laws, the united states has suffered a self-inflicted in the wound in the murder of our daughter boy the hands of someone who should never have been on the streets. the alleged murder is an undocumented immigrant who has been convicted of seven fellony

charges and deported five times. he was released from jail and allowed to stay freely because of the illegal loop holes. it is unbelievable to see so many innocent americans killed by undocumented immigrants. we came across a statistic saying between 2010-2014 121 criminal ally -- aliens were charged with homicidal related offenses. >> really powerful stuff. congress is working on legislation that could this week punish sanctuary cities in america. we will see if that is successful. a lot of folks want to cut off the money and we will see if they can do that. we will be right back with more.
