right now an american shoe getting a new look. converse unveiling a redesigned chuck taylor all-star. the first facelift for the sneaker in nearly 100 years. did you know it went back. >> i didn't know. >> elizabeth is a sneaker expert and senior curator of the shoe museum. i can't wait to come see it. elizabeth, talk to us. this is the iconic american shoe. how is it changing? >> it absolutely is the iconic american shoe. it is changing in interesting ways. it's first important to debunk a myth. the converse all-star debuted in 1917. chuck taylor didn't start working for the company until the '20s and got his name on the
