hillary clinton going to lecture me about paycheck to paycheck. i was raised paycheck to paycheck. >> and boy, did hillary clinton get a lot of attention in last night's debated. in my twitter feed i had a lot of people saying to me what happened to senator ted cruz in texas why is he being treated like wallpaper. when he did get a chance to speak senator cruz exhibited the skills for rhetoric and debating for which he is known. here is senator cruz discussing how he would take the plight to isis. >> what we need is a commander-in-chief who makes clear if you join isis, if you wage jihad on america, then you are signing your death warrant. >> the only nonpolitician on the stage besides donald trump was retired neurosurgeon ben carson who turned in a performance that was engaging and heartfelt.

chance to treat everybody with respect and let them share in the american dream. i am going to love my daughters, i am going to will have them no matter what they do. >> governor jeb bush the former governor of florida came into this debate number 2 in the polling. to some he hadding it somethin prove whether he had fire in the belly. he was animated on the subject of education and tick lirly on his support of common core. here he is defending his record as florida governor on the subject of education. >> we have rising student achievement across the board because high standards robust accountability ending social promotion in third grade, real school choice across the board challenging the teacher's union and beating them is the way to go. low income kids in florida had the greatest gains inside the country. our graduation rate raised by 50 percent. that's what i am for.
