g.o.p. contenders are set to speak. a few of them made their case ott on what separates them from the rest. >> if you're looking at somebody who is running for president of the oosthuizen you need to wonder, will they really do what they say they're going to do? >> america is ready for an executive. an individual who understands how to lead, how to make decisions. >> we have a lot of great talkers running for president. the problem is we've got a great talker in the white house already. >> well, they're all talkers in a way. several other candidates on the schedule for today and tomorrow, and up next, carly fiorina. many analysts say the former hewlett packer ceo stole the show during the early debate and could soon find herself in the top ten. also set to speak the top three of the most recent fox news poll. we're talking about scott walker, jeb bush, and donald trump. trump pointed out last night as he always does, that he is in

means testing. mike huckabee says that's theft. watch. >> he's not lying. just wrong. i'm the only guy on the stage who put out a detailed 12-point plan on entitlement reform. >> nobody in this country is on social security because they made the decision when they were starting, who at 14 they wanted to trust some of their money with the government. >> whole bunch of candidates today are in georgia for the big red state conference which starts tonight and in new hampshire today, jeb bush stopped off at a lobster house in new hampshire and he is campaigning there, and frankly was asked a number of times about what' some critics say was a tepid dedebate performance and he said eights not about one or two debates. a campaign is a long haul of persuading lots lots of people. so you can hear him dismissing yesterday and trying to move on because he wasn't the standout and clear i didn't make the headlines. that ways mostly trump. >> carl, thank you very much. let's bring in tony, republican

strategist, fox news contributor, good to see you. you think donald trump made a couple of mistakes. what are they? >> two two -- his two biggest debates and then became aggressive was not pledging to not run a third party campaign against the ultimate nominee of the party because that showed a disrespect for the very party he is trying to win over. the second one is taking oning me -- megyn kelly when she was askedcomment out women. he permanently turned it around and actually almost threatened to say something to her that might have been negative, and i think those are two things that can catch up with him. donald trump has existed outside of the conventional line of politics. so does it hurt him immediately in probably not. he was light on substance and i think charles krauthammer was right, last night was a bad performance you saul the candor people have come to really

conservative side of the republican party more effectively. >> what about jeb bush? >> jeb bush by design went into last night with the anticipation he was not going to try to hit a grand slam or get a double, and he didn't. did he hurt himself? no. i hope he would be more inspirational and offer more about his vision. he seemed defensive about his record. he didn't have a breakout moment but didn't do anything that i think is going to come back to haunt him. >> the neither did governor scott walker who is leading in some of the polls in iowa, but he is not getting any ink for or or kudos for his performance. >> scott walker is at the top of the tier. i think he is trying hard to stay there last night is not going to push him out and not questioning to fortify him either but i think walker had some really strong lines and came across with an important test of looking presidential. there's been the critique about him, that he is a provincial government, the whole line,

the early g.o.p. debate in cleveland was a break-through moment for former hugh lit packard ceo carly fiorina. according to some analysts and google trends. look at this. shows that fiorina was the top search candidate out of the competition. you can see she led the other candidates throughout most of the event. analysts say fiorina shined during the debate by highlighting her business experience and portraying herself as a political outsider and took a jab at the democratic front-runner, hillary clinton. >> hillary clinton lies about benghazi chev lies about e-mails. she is still defending planned parenthood and is still her party's front-runner. 2016 is going to be a fight between conservatism and a democratic part that is undermining the very character of this nation. >> fiorina is set to speak just minutes from now at the red state gathering in atlanta. she has been hovering between one and two percent in the national polls but analysts now predict her performance last night could actually boost her

committee, the congressman releasing a statement laying out his objections, similar to chuck schumers. in the statement he says, after careful consideration of all the material, more than a dozen hearings since the beginning of the negotiating period and conversation with administration officials, experts and my con city tunes i regret i cannot support this deal. he was also joined by the number two democrat on the committee congressman brad sherman, of california, who in the last couple of hours here announces his opposition. >> rich, does the white house say that it's now concern this could prompt more democrats to do the same thing and announce their opposition? >> well, we just asked the white house if to there was a multiplier effect with the top democrat in the u.s. senate, chuck schumer announcing his opposition. will other democrats fool suit? the white house denies schumer's defection will lead to more democrats opposing the deal. >> i think there's a preponderance of evidence could

connection to israel, the israeli lobby so, gee what a surprise he is against the deal. is he doing it to appease his constituents? >> i think it's a little bit of both. i think that he is the number one senatal fundraiser if not the number one elected fundraiser for the dem create party and relies on the constituency to raid money for his campaign -- raise money for his campaign next year, but to raise employ for other candidates and the dny and the rest of the candidates who may be in opposition to this -- for this deal, for the proposal in congress. so i think what is going only right now is he is really trying to send a message to his jewish voters and to aipac essentially. he supports them but not going to be actively going out there -- >> in other words in his position as a leader in the u.s. senate he is not whipping other democrats to follow suit. >> no. and -- >> which tells you that he is just doing this to appease his constituents.

we are waiting to hear whether the movie massacre killer, james holmes, will die for his crimes or spend the rest of his life behind bars. during jury deliberations today the judge grand emt jurors request to rewatch a bloody crime scene videotapes taken from inside the theater that terrible night. last month they found holme guilty of murder for killing 12 people and injuring dozens more during a crowded midnight showing of "the dark knight rises" three years ago. dan springer is live outside the courthouse in centennial, colorado. dan, i guess it's up to the jury now. right?

>> reporter: still to verdict and that development that you touched on in the intro is very significant. it happened two hours into the jury deliberation. four hours ago. the jury asked the judge if they could have the equipment to be able to see the crime scene again. they saw it back in june. so two months ago they say the grisly gruesome video taken by police walking kind of point of view, walking the 'em camera through the theater pointing down and showing the bullet casings and then showing a body and another body and another body. ten in all. of the 12 victims never made out of the theater. their bodies laid there for hours afterwards as the police documented that scene and of course it's anybody's guess exactly what that it means but there's some speculation that it could mean that there are at least one possibly two people who are holding out against the death penalty and that the people who are in favor hoff the death penalty want those jurors to see again the horror of what james holmes did three years
