have two reports from pilots and helicopters spotting drones too close for comfort on take off or approach and landing. it is a daily occurrence despite the faa restricts drone hobbiest from the airports and no more height than 400 feet. four different planes were on approach after 12 noon sunday when flight crews spotted a drone 2000 feet. they were at northwest 587 and united 187 that was a boeing 167. and united. and none of these pilots had to take evasive maneuvers. many have and many fear that it a drone could get in a jet
