"happening now". hackers releasing info on the web site ashley madison advertised as a place for married people to have affairs. taxpayers could be getting jilted too. turns out washington d.c. has the highest number of subscribers. rich edson join those live with more on this. >> many of those subscribers are using government e-mail addresses according to several tech publications. a group calling itself impact team says it is responsible for stealing the data of 30 million ashley madison accounts. posted that information on the dark webb, a section of the internet only certain web browsers can access. take exit separates going to the once thought secure profile rashly madison users have found 15,000 accounts of government e-mail addresses reportedly with scores of addresses from department of state, lance ted purdy, labor, federal bureau of investigation, a federal aviation administration and more. reports also cite e-mail

potentially in the $30 a barrel range, at a 6 year low, we haven't seen oil trade this low since fight of the financial collapse. what is this about? supply and demand, hitting record levels of supply output, saudi arabia, u.s. supply still gunning, going on strong and that demand issue, summer driving season coming to an end and china economic slowdown, oil prices have been coming down. the other talk on wall street is we could see $2 a gallon for gasoline by christmas time. already we are seeing $2.65. some parts of the country are seeing higher than that because of refinery problems. gas prices are higher like chicago and even urine $5 a gallon in california. the other thing we are watching, airline ticket prices, fly the friendly skies, ticket prices

are dropping at their fastest rate since 1995. jenna: $2 a gallon gas sounds great but the broader economy if there is weakness, the stock market not looking as great that adds concerns. the market is trading lower by 220 points. liz: when you strip out the energy boom and health-care stocks the market returns are not doing that great. what we are watching our domestic stocks, the russell, the small-cap indices are trading negative territory year-to-date. there is concern about demand in the united states but with the summer driving season over you will see gas prices go down so that will help consumers spending. jenna: thank you. >> more dramatic testimony from the accuser in the new hampshire

friends and in one statement she recalled telling her friends the following, put it up on screen, i think i just have sex. did you want it? accuser, i don't know. i have no idea. does that hurt her credibility? in a case whether it was consensual or not? >> it absolutely does this this woman is coming in unequivocally stating i did not want to have sex, he forced and self on me. this is not a situation unwanted to be in. immediately thereafter the outcry, she never said she was raped, never says it wasn't consensual, none of those things, she is sort of unsure. >> people tend to be more accurate and truthful immediately after an incident than they do months or years later. >> before the parents get involved or detectives and prosecutors. >> i want to play a sound bite. what the accuser told her friends we put on the screen a

angel yourself. does that sound like the words of a person who had just been raped to her rapist? >> it doesn't sound like the words of a victim and our two after she has been raped and after she has gone away in a place of safety, and she is far away from them. there are other text messages where she calls him a gym and says did you use a condom. these will cut her credibility. >> the prosecution knew that the defense was going to exploit that and they preemptively asked her on the witness stand before cross-examination about it, here is. >> was afraid of him coming after me again or coming to confront me or make fun of me. >> that his explanation for calling him an angel after he raped her. do you buy that? >> yes, she is a naive young

girl. i thought he would make fun of me. they are more concerned about being publicly ashamed than i should tell the truth. i am not at all dealing with the defense is trying to say in this case. >> one of the things jurors struggle within cases like this is why would the accuser lied? why would she falsely claimed rape? the defense has to come up with an explanation. >> not necessarily. it would be good and helpful but practically speaking it is not a legal requirement but it would be incredibly helpful. this girl is young, naive, just maturing. to get inside air head and figure out why is very difficult to do but it wouldn't be the first time an alleged rape victim had what some in that industry had regrets sex. after the fact you feel guilt, remorse, a variety of reasons. not saying that happened in this case the that is possible.

this is the end of christianity in the region. the decline started 100 years ago, dramatically relieve this century. next guest writes this, quote, with the fall of saddam hussein christians leave iraq in large numbers and a population down to 500,000. today as many as 1.5 million in 2003. arab spring made things worse as dictators like hosni mubarak and gaddafi we're topple. their longstanding protection of minorities also ended. isis is looking to eradicate christians and other minorities all together. eliza griswald report on this for the new york times magazine and spent a decade in the region. we talked about this story before but not in so much detail as you have been able to report on. a basic question, how bad is it in the region for christians? >> it would be fair to say since the invasion of 2003 we have seen hundreds of thousands of

christians leaving and there have been targeted campaign, killing and kidnapping for ransom over the last decade, 14 years. that said, what we are seeing now is the population that is partly out of fear for what is going to happen but not only isis driving them from the region but the threat of survival. >> what is the role of isis? when you look at the landscape of what is forcing christians to leave or otherwise be under threat how big is the threat of isis? >> it is an existential threat not just against christians but in larger numbers, and other religious and ethnic minorities as well and if isis doesn't go these communities face their end. >> one line in your article that resonated with me is someone told you this is the first time in 2,000 years that there wasn't a christian mass in mos old. a lot of us don't reali . a lot of us don't realize the

crusaders. if we talk about christian suffering, is easier to talk about other forms of suffering because it doesn't play into it the crusading left. that said there is nothing we can do to avoid what isis wants to paint. >> the plight of jews in world war ii, you are looked at supporting the jewish population. >> i want to commend president obama who has spoken against this. >> the recent events the forced in to come forward because of the agreed to nature of stories we have seen. it is interesting you mention religious leaders saying this has been an experiment, seeing different religious groups together, the difference acts of muslims and otherwise and he said now i vote for divorce. this is not going to work, having these groups together but does that mean christianity won't exist in the middle east? >> in each country where christians survive there are

different circumstances. if we look egypt, the situation in jerusalem, israel, different situations. if we were to say what christians in iraq and other minorities to get what they want is a safe-haven. that save haven would be constitutionally guaranteed under the iraqi constitution and they would have a right to be part of the nascent national guard. without isis gone this makes no sense because isis, which they would like to be. with isis gone if there is the region if we see iraq fracture which it already has and the sunni/shia, could there be a space for ethnic and religious minorities to be together in one group? that is the question we are seeing. jenna: the priority of getting rid of isis and making that the number one priority and moving from there. everyone should read your piece, we enjoyed having you on the program.
