weigh? and investors on edge as we await the opening of the took market tomorrow following last week's massive plunge. the impact on your 401(k) and what we can expect all coming up. but first, three americans credited with taking down a heavily armed gunman on a paris bound train and possibly foiling a huge massacre. they're telling their story today a news conference was held with the new heroes, spencer stone, alex skarlatos and college student anthony sadler. the three men who disregarded their own safety tackled the suspect on the high speed train, then tied him up. this as we learn more about the gunman himself, 26-year-old moroccan with tie to radical islam who may have traveled to

syria. will carr has more from the newsroom. >> the u.s. ambassador in paris today these three heroes demonstrated the best of america. they're childhood friends and they appeared to be at ease together during the press conference as they shared the dramatic details that played out on the train on friday. they're sleeping as they heard several shots. they stood up and saw a gunman holding an ak-47 that appeared to be jammed. >> we hit the ground, alex came up and grabbed the gun out of his hand while i put him in a whoek hold. seemed like he kept pulling more weapons left and right. >> spencer stone is a u.s. airman who loves marshal arts. he kept the man in a chokehold while skarlatos started bashing the suspect in this face until he pass out. an alert british passenger ran over with a taye that the men used to hog tie the suspect.

>> i feel our training mostly kicked in after he was already subdued. in the beit was just gut instincts and sur vial. >> then in true heroic fashion, spencer stone, who was badly injured, saw that a man had been shot. he went over, placed his fingers over an artery bleeding in that man's neck and may have saved his life. the three have been honored by the french government and got a call from president obama this week. anthony sadler has a message for anyone, however unlikely it may seem who winds up in a similar situation. >> in a crisis like that, you basically have to do something. hiding or sitting back is not going to accomplish anything. >> as for the suspect, the associated press using unnamed sources has identified him as

ayoub el khazzani. he was known for authorities in three countries for his ties to radical islam, france, belgium and spain. it's believed that he recently spent time in syria. he's now being questioned in france. his attorney came out and said he's dumbfounded that people are associated him with potential terrorism. all he wanted to do was rob the train. but that that press conference, anthony sadler said you don't need eight or nine magazines to rob a train. greg? >> will carr, thanks. hillary clinton remains the democratic front runner but her lead could be shrinking. there's also a new possible twist into the investigation of her e-mail server from her time as secretary state. kristen fisher is live in washington with the latest. >> the new twist is that there may be one, but two private

servers. the company managing clinton's e-mail network suggested that he transferred e-mails from her original server. that's something to watch as both said continue to put their own spin on this so-called e-mail gate. clinton supporters say that is one bureaucratic tangle over what's classified and what's not. but her critics say this is a criminal investigation. let's listen to both sides have it out on fox news sunday. >> obviously at the margins there are some things that may or may not be classified. we're talking about information that went to the secretary of state who is the highest foreign relations officer of the united states. it's inconceivable to me that a great deal of that was not classified. >> it is physically impossible to move things from the classified system to turn classified systems. we're only talking about the classified system -- unclassified system. everything on the classified

system is where it belongs and there's in question about that. >> there's also no question that there isn't going away anytime soon or neither is donald trump. this week he made the cover of "time "magazine with the headline "deal with it." one of his opponents mike huckabee explained how he's dealing with it on fox news sunday. >> i quit answering donald trump questions. he's getting ten times the amount of coverage than any other candidate is getting. dumbest thing that the candidate can do is give him more coverage by answering all of the trump questions. >> it's hard not to talk about truch when he draws about 30,000 people in alabama at a football stadium. molly? >> thank you. could there be legal ramification to hillary clinton's e-mail investigation. that's coming up later in the show president obama's vacation is over. now high on the agenda is the

iran nuclear deal. in the meantime the nuclear deal apparently helping to thaw relations between britain and tehran. the uk reopening its embassy there near hi four years after shutting it down. we have more from edgartown, massachusetts. >> good afternoon to you. what a difference a few years can make, right? if you think bark four years ago, the gulf between iran, the uk and the world was very, very wide. but if you can believe it iran nuclear deal is being credited to help bridge the gap a little bit. what remains to be seen is whether or not iran lives up to the agreement should it come to pass. but today the first steps for normalization of relations between iran and the rest of the world community has the uk opens its embassy in tehran. this comes four years after the closure after a protest breach helped to close the particular

building. the british foreign secretary said today he hoped the iran deal, coupled with the embassy opening, will signal a brand-new beginning. >> i hope that as the nuclear deal is implemented and sanctions are gradually lifted off and iran reintegrates more effectively into the international economy we'll see a soaring of relationships. >> back here in the united states, there remains very strong opposition to the iran nuclear deal and among the fiercest critic is gop presidential candidate mike huckabee. >> this is balloon juice for the bth to get out there and pretend that this deal is a good one, in part, because this lets iran do their own inspections, their self reporting. it's like letting a 10th grader great his own algebra exams. >> huckabee fresh from his trip to the middle east. now, as you point out, congress

will get a chance to weigh in on this in september. but the white house remains confident tonight that they still have the number to with stand a gop veto override. of course we'll all find out soon enough. greg, back to you. at least one person is dead after two small planes collide at an air show in switzerland. one pilot reportedly managing to escape by parachute. this comes one day after another krsh at an air show in england. a vintage fighter jet falling out of the sky and exploding on a busy roadway. the incident leaving seven people dpaed. but authorities say that number is expected to rise wall street is holding its breath ahead of tomorrow's opening after taking a beating this last week. the dow jones industrial dropping 530 points on friday alone. that's the ninth biggest point decline in history. and capping the worst week for the market this year. much of this is due to growing

concerns about a slowdown in china. brian ennis is live with more. >> all eyes will be on the chinese market which opens at 9:00 p.m. eastern tonight. for years, the market has been betting on china as its growth. but this last week new indications that china's economy is contracting, falling chinese demand for commodities like iron, copper and oil negatively affecting marketing worldwide. china devalued their currency hurting u.s. goods. it's more expensive for chinese people to import and buy u.s. products making them less likely to do so. >> this is a communist country. if they say we're going to devalue our currency, we're going to push it lower, that means all chinese products coming into the u.s. are much cheaper than u.s. products. so as americans we're going to want to find the value. so when we go shopping, we're going to want to buy the cheaper

climbers. nepal opening the high east mountain for the first time since a deadly earthquake triggered avalanche in april. a japanese climber will be the first to attempt to squal the people. he plans to leave for the mountain on tuesday and reach the summit in mid september. the earthquake killed 9,000 people in nepal including dozens of climbers. wildfires in washington state growing bigger, the flames scorching more land despite fire crews working around the clock. joe biden holds a private meeting with senator warren. why that is raising speculation even higher about him possibly joining the presidential race. >> having him on the debate stage is an important part of the campaign. his decision will be what his decision is and his time line will be what his time line is. a i just had to adopt him. he's older so he needs my help all day.

caller. thanks for joining us. understandably vp biden has had a pretty quiet summer after the death of his son beau. but now this meeting with elizabeth warren. trying to tie into the populous mantra that the system is rigged for the big guys. is this the biggest sign yet that joe biden might be entering the race? >> either that or he's messing with all of us by meeting with elizabeth warren. honestly, it's a huge sign. if you look at warren's support before, you know, she said i'm definitely not running for president, this populous support really does exist. and the guy who is picking it all up right now is senator bernie sanders. if joe biden can get elizabeth warren to come out and vocalize support or stay out of his way, kind of like nudge people in the direction of joe biden, that

could go a long way of damaging hillary clinton's nomination. which at one point we thought was a sure thing. every day we go forward it seems less and less so. especially for joe biden polling so well who is not even in the race yet. >> we have a poll that we can pop up that shows he's register in the polls. also as the race goes forward and the e-mail things just keeps going and going with hillary clinton, is this something that joe biden may be waiting to see how this plays out? is there a fallout there waiting to see ou it ends? >> it there was ever the time to use the headline biden his time, he's waiting for hillary to stumble. hillary's campaign has never been for vocal to batten down the hatches. you don't tell people to rerax unless they're growing hysterical. and they're growing hysterical over the fact that hillary clinton can't control this e-mail scandal. they're coming out with new

spokesmen, new quotes, new interviews trying to tell people it's okay. >> and that's the thing. how much time does he have? does he need to get in u it now? does he have to make the decision quickly? >> sure. if we wants to be considered as one of the candidates, it's got to be done within the next month. that's what the biden camp is thinking, that they're going to do this by september. this all comes down to just watching what hillary is up to. and if she collapses here, joe biden can have a real opportunity to jump in. there's a lot of pressure on biden, i think -- right now he's back meeting with his family and this is a pivotal time. let's not underestimate how important his family thoughts are. he's a vice president. vice presidents run for president. >> fox news had an collusive interview and he says there's a lot of enthusiasm for joe bide

skarlatos and ans any sadler spoke. they said the gunman's assault rifle appeared to have jammed and that's when they attacked him. today an italian navy shipped docked with 400 migrants on board. two men were being taken away by police. and officials in san antonio are searching for the body of 25-year-old julie mock. investigators believe someone walked into the funeral home and stole it after she died earlier this month. officials from north and south korea are coming together for a second day of talks in hopes of easing tensions between the rival nations. the meeting comes after recent exchanges of heated rhetoric and artillery fire. one south korean official saying they're detecting unusual troop movement from the north but so far no action. a former cia analyst and senior

fellow with the center of senior policy joins us. is this just another in the sort of typical border skirmishes and provocative acts that seem to happen periodically and then they die down? or could this escalate into something dangerous? >> greg, it's hard to tell. this's real reason for concern. north korea started this fight when north korean soldiers snuck across the border and planted land mines near an observation post used by korean troops. this happened in late july or early august. and the most by the north korean military, they're unusual. artistry at the border, submarines have gone to sea, there's a campaign to recruit north koreans to join the army. when this kind of stuff goes on, there's a real possibility of an escalating conflict by miscalculation. >> if it is just, you know, a

belligerent act and it will die down, why? is it for domestic consumption to sort of puff up kim jong-un's image? >> i think that's a possibility. i think we have to realize that the north korean regime does not think like the regimes 0 any other countries. they think provocations and violence gives it leverage and negotiation. sometimes that's proven true but it's also resulted in ie lating the regime and led to a position by president park of south korea who believes that prooe yous provocations were not responded to aggressively enough. that means that the north koreans engage in some type of military effort against the south that's minor, it could escalate and we could have a major war on our hands. >> and the real danger is that north korea has nuclear weapons, right? from they've had two neck tests in 2006 twb 2009 and 2013. it's supposedly developing miniaturized weapons, may be

whether it was a personal account or a government account, i did not send classified material and i did not receive any material that was marked or designated classified, which is the way you know whether something is. >> new reaction to hillary clinton's e-mail scandal. the democratic presidential front runner insists she never sent classified information and that the investigation is not about her. but former attorney general michael ma casey tells fox news it is about her and not just a political witch hunt. >> as far as definitions of what's classified and what's not, obviously at the margins there are soms things that may or may not be classified. we're talking about information that went to the secretary of state who is the highest foreign relations officer of the united states. it's inconceivable to me that a great deal of that was not

classified. >> so will there be legal fallout for the former secretary of state? eric guster joins us, richard st. paul, both are defense attorneys. gentlemen, go to see you. is the attorney general right, there would have to be classified materials in e-mails over the course of four years? i mean it would be impossible to be operating, it would seem as secretary of state, without it. >> it's totally impossible. that's going to be the big problem for hillary. it doesn't take a long laundry list of e-mails. it only takes one to get her in big trouble and that's what the democrats are going to have to be faced with. all of the e-mails going through the secretary of state, although it may not be labeled as classified, that means that there were some things that were actually classified that may not have that label. who knows what secrets were being traded between them and who she e-mailed that wasn't listed in the subject line classified. but if the information there was

classified, she's going to have big troubles. and i think her presidential hopeful dreams are going to go up in smoke. >> richard, clinton continue to argue in her campaign, that look, the fbi is not conducting a criminal investigation and second of all, she's not the target of it. that's not what ma casey said. take a listen to him. >> to say that the investigation is not of someone personally is ridiculous. the fbi does not investigate machines. it investigates people. and she's certainly one of the people who's being investigated. >> richard, is he right? >> he's 100% right. when somebody kills somebody with a gun, they don't investigate the gun that killed the person, they investigate the actual person. this is true. they're investigating hillary clinton's actions. whether or not she retained or deleted class fieds information is of utmost po importance and it carries misdemeanor and felony charges with it.

she is the only secretary of state to not have a state government e-mail address. why is that? because the clintons like the skirt to law. they think they're above the law. here is an example of when her actions are going to come back to bite her. >> clinton's defense here is that she neither sent nor received materials or documents that were marked classified. and howard dean made the same argument. take a listen. >> she did not break any rules. she did not break any policies. she may have sent stuff that was classified that wasn't labeled classified and it's well-known at the state department and others are trying to get stuff classified after the fact. she can't be blamed for this. >> you know, richard, when you read the statute, it's very clear. it's not about how a document was marked but the content of the document. that is to say if it was

classified. so in her defense that gee, it wasn't marked so i didn't know, that's not really a good legal defense, is it? >> no. what she's trying to say is i did not knowing will retain or delete classified information. that's not at issue here. it's about being held to a higher standard as a government official with top secret classified information. you need -- the standard of care is much higher for you. you need to protect information. it doesn't have to be marked classified. you just have to protect the information. and that starts with not having it on your personal e-mail server. >> which invites another question. how could she not know. she was privy to many of our nation's guarded secrets, regardless of how a document is marked, she should have been able to reck nigh it instantaneously for what it was, shouldn't she? >> that goes to the level of competence of our leaders. if a person has classified

information and they don't realize it's classified, they probably don't need to have the information in their possession. and that's one of the problems that we're dealing with. if you don't know something is classified, you don't need to have the job. that's almost like a person saying -- well they're saying it wasn't labeled classified. that's like saying there's cocaine in my bag but it's not labeled cocaine. you know what it is, what it should be. they should have known this was classified information and she should have protected it because that could have eliminated -- that could have caused a lot of problems with people tapping into her server like these hackers are doing left and right these days. >> richard, in a way is she arguing incompetent as her defense? i was too inept to realize that was an incredibly top secret document. >> yes, she's arguing that, hey, if it's not marked classified, how am i supposed to know. that argument doesn't hold any weight. the second thing she's arguing is the state department didn't

have the sophisticated system for retaining information and preserving information as a standard advised by the federal statute. you have to retain information, store information for archive purposes. those are her two arguments. come on. the reality of the situation is you're the secretary of state, the chief foreign officer, there's 50,000 e-mails and you're telling me none of those are classified? that's bologna. >> david kendall who is kihilla clinton's lawyer wrote a letter saying her e-mail was consistent with the practice of other secretaries of state. that's not true. no previous secretary of state set up their own home brew personal server and then used it exclusively for her business. >> exactly. you didn't put -- those are apples and oranges that you're dealing with. and another big problem that she's going to have, greg, she

percent since the high back in may, a few months ago, the textbook definition of a correction. now, a lot of people are pretty concerned seeing the down down 500 points but it is good, a healthy develop 349. you would rather have a pit of a pull back, 10 percent, rather than having the bubble burst and not necessarily we were in a bubble but we had seen the markets over 200 percent since the march of 2009 low. this was bound to happen. >> what do we say caused this? greece? china? >> china was one. we had economic woes in china, worries the economy will not grow at the 7 percent the government would like it to grow and they devalued their currency two weeks after after weak export data and they want their exports more attractive. devaluing currency makes that happen but it hurts united states company. that strengthens the dollar. any company with overseas exposure to china will have

headwind. the other reason for contribution was the federal reserve. we have had interest rates at record lows since the recession. the federal reserve is looking for an opportunity to raise interest rates. many analysts thing that could come by september. low interest rates have kept the stock market up. everyone is very worried of what higher rates will do to the stock market. any concern about high rates in september we is what triggered the losses we saw on friday. >> interesting that the chinese exports have been a strong market anyway but the 401(k)s and people are looking at them. is it normal to see this correction? >> totally. this is a healthy development for the market. we were long overdue for a correction. it has been four years. you look back in the history you see the corrections in the market and it allows people on the side lines to get back in, buy stocks for discount and

enjoy the recovery. of course, when we have a dip there is bound to be a recovery and once the federal reserve does pull the trigger and raise interest rates for the first time in nine years we are going do see the market finally breathe a sigh of release and get back to earnings driven market. the stock market is driven on corporate earnings. what can we expect in the week ahead? >> investors will watch for china because their market opens tonight the first time that the china stocks have had a chance to react to friday's reaction. if we see a pull back in china stocks that will foreshadow volatility in the united states markets this week, and perhaps more selling but, look, keep an cry on the markets this week. certainly if we are seeing this 10 percent correction and maybe it goes down another 2 percent
