killed a texas deputy. he faces capital murder charges in the death of 47-year-old sheriffs deputy darryn goforth. he was at a gas station at a quiet houston suburban neighborhood pumping gas. shannon miles approached the deputy from behind. he then allegedly shot goforth in the back and head, killing him. but now miles' mother is offering her son an alibi. she tells the texas news station, the gunman couldn't have been miles because she claims they were out shopping together at the time of the shooting. meantime, deputy goforth's community is still in mourning and last night hundreds came out to remember the 10-year veteran of the force and father of two. >> i just feel so bad for this man. he did not deserve this. this has got to cease. it's not about color. it's about a human being. he has a family.

sanders, since january, he's actually risen in support by 20 points since january. i mean, that's a big deal. open the door for perhaps vice president joe biden. what do you think about that tucker? >> and iowa is especially a problem. it was a problem for her in 2008. bernie sanders moving up quickly there. so interesting hillary clinton's response to this. the response is to say we have a ton of employees on the ground in iowa and we have a lot of important endorsements. it's exactly what they said in 2008 as their support in that state began to erode because of thanks to president obama. bernie sanders is an elderly white guy, it shows how much democrats resent having her imposed on them. >> she's losing new hampshire. she's had her leads diminished in iowa and this is a guy who is not really technically a

christie is not suggesting people are packages. he is saying a lot of people overstay their visas and the united states has a right to ask them to leave once they do that. what's wrong with that? >> that's wrong is chris christie proves he doesn't understand the immigration issue. we know exactly where they people are. if they come in on visas, we have their home addresses. the problem is not locating theme people. it's been having the political will to deport them. when people talk about fedex and play into this notion, this is really an engineering problem. you can solve this on a white board if you come up with a better idea to build a better mouse trap. political will. chris christie has been all over the map in new jersey. he sign a bill to allow for instate tuition for illegal immigrants and later denounses the very idea.
