manhunt for those three suspects and they're considered armed and dangerous and still at large at this hour. yesterday, the search involving over 100 local and federal officers who skoured the area by foot air and with dog teams. a 30 year veteran described as a family man and dedicated officer. >> not only did fox lake lose a family member, i lost a very good friend. he was a 30 year veteran, a decorated police officer, a family man and a dear friend to the entire village of fox lake. >> gleen wiks was expected to retire. there is very little deskripcrin other than two white people and

one black person. and as you said, nearby businesses and schools are closed and two planned vigils so far. >> unfortunately, it's not the end of it. and we don't know the circumstances yet, we haven't caught the guys yet, two white guys, one black guy, that's all we know. but is it indeed open season on cops? >> as he went down and radioed that he was pursuing then and later found shot dead and stripped of his weapon. we have 22 police officers killed by gun fire in 2015. this is the fourth in chicago this year. and darren goforth gunned down. and then august 24th, senior trooper senior vincent, and louisiana state police was shot

in the head and taunted as he died because he was helping someone on the side of the road. and right now we're looking at seven in the month of august. this is horrific. >> four in the last nine days. and i think about this lieutenant, they called him g.i. joe, one month away from retirement. he decides to pursue on foot by himself. he leaves a wife and four boys. he's a veteran of the u.s. army, 30 years -- 30 years in the police force. this is a man of service. >> when i was in the army, i knew a lot of guys like this. his whole life committed to service one month from out and then you have thugs presumably who took his weapon and killed him in the line of duty. >> and these boys are go having to go the rest on their own.

>> and this is a place almost absence of violence, and he spend most of his free time helping the youth in the region and evidently, he was carved out of stone, he was a guy with a military background with 30 years in the police force and as you heard before, his nickname was g.i. joe. and hopefully we'll get answers with over 100 cops in the manhunt. and good news for carly fiorina. >> and originally she wasn't going to be in the debate and cnn changed the debate criteria. and chris christie might be joining her and rand paul. >> or staying in the top 10. >> and since that debate, she's actually surged right up in the

numbers. her favorability has gone up and she might just jump up to the september 16th contest. >> cnn had set the criteria, they said not fair, they put on a full court media blitz and cnn said all right, we're changing it. they're looking at polls from august 6th to september 6th. and who's going to be in the middle part of that stage? donald trump, and frankly ted cruz who runs as an antipolitician. and the antiwashington, they're going to be center stage. >> carly fiorina even thanked jeb bush a donald trump and ben carson. >> and if you stay home, there's no debate.

so, they used some of that subtle leverage. and they said we thought there would be and therefore, let's change the criteria. the next day, everyone is going to be complaining about how little time they got. they were upset about 10 on the stage, how do you feel about 11? the good news is she's included, the bad news, 15 minutes. >> how are you going to get all of that in? you're exactly right. >> try it at home, i might. we know there are 7,000 emails dumped on us. and bad news for hillary clinton. and in that march meeting and she said, by the way, i never took or sent any confidential information. it turns out they found at least six separate times in which she sends confidential intelligence.

officer is shot dead, many are linking these acts of vilence to rhetoric of the black lives movement. and here on "fox & friends" yesterday with a call for peace and unity. >> everybody is important. god gave us two commandments, the first one was to love him and the second was to love one another. and i personally feel like all we need is a lot more love and a lot more unity. >> if he can speak against this senseless violence, shouldn't the president. well, let's talk to alvina, niece to the late martin luther king jr. the president has called deputy goforth's family but not made a public call. is it time for him to make a public call about what's happening to our cops in this

dr. martin luther king jr. and every time a violent incident would erupt, you always needed that voice of peace and love and the instruction on how to forgive. we've seen that happen here in our nation, just as bishop lowe just a few days ago, when we were in alabama, we marched from the 16th street baptist church that was bombed in 1963, but every time violence would try to erupt, you must have a voice of reason, of peace, of love, of hope, of how to move forward together in unity. and the president has that opportunity, i just pray that he'll use that voice more. >> well, thank you for your voice of peace and love and thank you for joining us this morning. >> thank you. well, the president's promise to close gitmo one more

which include housing people in home hotel room s year round. and the the push to regulate marijuana and they want a revenue to go right to education in arizona. so, could this drug money be the answer to saving struggling schools? here with the fair and balance debate on it, and robert graham, chairman of the arizona republican party. thank you for joining me here. do you believe that this is the way to help these schools? by taking tax money from revenue from drugs and putting it back into the schools? >> you know, ultimately what we're talking about here is a product that millions of adults use, much like alcohol and if it's legal, it's going to be

subjected to tax and if those taxes are going to be levied, where should that money go and this campaign has decided to direct some of that money toward public education and it's not going to solve the budget shortfall but it's going to help and the tax revenue from marijuana sales is not the best reason to make marijuana legal but it's a great bonus, in addition to ending prohibition. >> i notice you note a bit of irony here in the sales pitch sgli. it's interesting when we talk about using drug money when we've spent decades telling children that it's not good for them. and when he said it's a bonus to help schools. it's amazing because that money you're talking about, i've heard numbers all over the place, that money could build one school in

the entire state of arizona and when you look at ai8, 9, 10 billion dollar budget, yk i think it's a feel good statement that they want to make voters believe it's a benefit more than a detriment. >> i know you have five kids, so i'm going to ask both of you. do you believe tax on an alcohol should not be used towards funding schools at all or is this strictly a drug issue for you? >> for me, i'll tell you it's a drug issue for me. it's one of these things where this is the issue on hand as we're discussing this in our state. and we're seeing the proponents coming in and waving the checks. and when you have the drug czar and he's saying, don't do it. it's a myth, you're not going to get more paved roads or pay
