all right. kentucky clerk jailed for refusing to issue marriage licenses is now released from jail. >> i want to give god the glory. his people have rallied. you are a strong people. >> and who was there every step of the way, republican presidential candidate governor mu mike huckabee who said he would be willing to go to jail in place of kim davis. describe the rally yesterday. i understand this fits something you'd be a part of and supportive of. why did you decide to be the face of outside miss davis? >> not that i decided to be the face. my team put the rally together. we decided as soon as she went to jail. i had spoke ton her by phone prior to her going to the hearing. i learned at hearing she was

ordered to jail without bail. i was incensed a person elected by the people, following the only law in front of her, was put in jail. it didn't matter she was democrat. she was american. she shouldn't have had that happen to her. we had people on the ground in eight hours from that moment starting to organize the rally. we began to put a team together to get the logistics in place. we had no idea that the day the rally was going to be held she would also be released. it turned out to be quite the event to have her come out on the stage right after her release from that jail. this is far from over. the fact she was ever put in jail for what she did is a frightening moment i believe in this country. >> you are somebody that wants to enforce the law on the books. law on the books now is the that same-sex marriage is the law of

the land. she's not going by the law of the land. she's going by the letter of religion. is that okay with you? >> that's not happening brian. when she was elected, she was operating under the kentucky constitution voted on by 75% of the people that affirmed marriage as man and woman. supreme court did not create the law of the land. i keep hearing that. courts can't make law. we need to go back to civics 101. court can't make the law. court can review the law. only congress can pass a law. when supreme court makes a ruling, it goes back to people's representatives whether in the state or federal level. they've got to figure out do we change the marriage licenses? what procedures and language do we change? the fact she was elected under man and woman relationship marriage, the only one in kentucky. it would be a felony to issue a license outside of that.

classmates raised $110,000 for fundraising. joinsi jo joining us now chloe and her father. when you first heard they wanted to raise money with the lemonade stand. no one expected this. josh was hoping to make $5-10,000. it kept growing. they were charging $1 a glass. people started giving $10 and $20. our community supports our school and these girls. they started getting matching gifts for the day's sales. it steam rolled. >> you as a dad have to be proud of your daughter and her friends. >> i told her it wouldn't work.

she proved to the rest of the community she could do it. we were trying to generate excitement for our school and get the community behind these girls. >> why were you so determined to do it? >> i knew my school needed it. i knew i could do a great thing with my friends. >> what was it like? >> it was fun knowing you're raising money for your school. >> what's the recipe? how do you make it? >> some water, sugar, 100% lemon juice and a lemon. >> sounds like a recipe for success. how does it feel so many stepped up for your school? you started it. >> deal really great we're giving to our school and doing a great thing. >> what about the people that stepped up? what was that like? >> it was great. it was fun. >> i bet. >> what are your plans?

>> we're a public free school. we have to bridge the gap with several hundred thousand dollars. they realized that. our community realizes it. these girls would love an athletic center. we need one on campus in a big way. that's what we're hoping for. >> your bar is set high. amazing. >> could it possibly be louder outside now? >> that's okay. >> not as loud as inside the school. >> they made money outdoors. they're okay. the story coming up, the toy machine and the ultimate prize.
