we're awaiting a federal reserve decision on whether to raise interest rates for the first time in ten years. wall street will be watching the announcement closely. joining us liz. less than ten minutes away. what message is the market sending? >> we have to be specific. less than eight minutes to go before we hear what the feds apply on interest rates which have been for years as zero to just a quarter of a percent due to the financial crisis. the market message that's being set, the dow is up about 39 points. a little bit of buying many the past couple of minutes, not too much. everyone is just waiting to see whether the federal reserve will either hold its fire or pull the trigger on a small rate hike. what would happen after that is only up to janet yellen. it's what she says in the press conference at 2:30 p.m. where
